FIELD: shipbuilding; sailing vessels.

SUBSTANCE: keel has two groups of passages-water conduits which are used for connection of high-pressure zones on surface of keel with low-pressure zones through interior of keel. Provision is made for imparting properties of non-symmetrical aerohydrodynamic profile to keel of symmetrical shape in incoming flow with no change in external geometry of keel.

The invention relates to water transport.

The known device type Keeley modified form for sailing vessels, capable of taking pterygoid form on SU 1041390 And US 4074646 AND DE 3040104 and used in the application No. 2000132994 "Method of maneuvering a sailing vessel and a device for its implementation" dated 29.12.2000 and A.S. SU1459968 A1 "Method for compensation of the drift and improving stability of a sailing ship on the go and the device for its implementation" from 23.02.89. The fins of this type can take the form of approaching the form of asymmetric hydrodynamic profile, and capable of performing the functions of the wing on the formation of a "lifting" force in the flow of the aqueous stream.

The closest analogue, available, should be considered patent US 4074646 from 21.02.1978. A common feature for counterparts is the presence of a keel of a sailing vessel of variable geometry capable in the flow stream lapping on the hull of the water when moving the vessel relative to it under the effect of the wind on the sail to create thrust (like lifting force on the wing). In the patent US 4074646 changing the shape of the keel symmetrical in cross section on the pterygoid and converting it into sertalinesumycin (which is required when changing tack a sailing ship) is a mechanical device with actuators and flexible surface of the keel.

The claimed device relates to lighting is Oleniy hydraulic type with a mechanical control device. The proposed device includes a keel symmetrical profile, two groups of channels-conduits connecting region of high pressure on the surface of the keel area of low pressure on the surface of the keel, the unit water inlet and management system.

The proposed device does not alter the external shape of the keel and does not make it the pterygoid, but due to the discovery of one group of channels and overlapping the other group is created, the system flows asymmetric speed and pressure so that the device acquires properties of the wing becomes chrysopogon.

The device water inlet has four positions:

1. all inlets are closed.

2. port tack. Open holes left panel. Closed holes on the right of the group.

3. right gals. Closed holes left panel. Open holes on the right of the group.

4. Open all of the inlet.

Controlling the inlet holes, and thus the flow of water, the crew will be able to reduce the drift of a sailing ship, to eliminate drift completely (as a movement), but also to move beyond the linear magnitude of the drift in a useful direction (the windward side), which promotes the growth speed of a sailing ship.

The objective of the invention is to make a symmetrical keel of cryoprobes with the possibility of creating two forms of asymmetry vzaimoosmotry is x with respect to the median plane of the ship.

Expected benefits from the claimed device: simplicity of installation, high strength monolithic design of the keel, without moving power parts.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to a vessel propulsion plant. The vessel propulsion plant has a hull (10) with a midship part (12) and aft part (14). The plant comprises two propulsion units (30, 301), the units are fixedly secured on the hull (10) at both sides of the hull center line (10) and on specified aft part (14). Each of the propulsion units (30, 301) comprises a housing with propeller (48) of outside surface of the housing. The housing further determines internal space, where drive mechanisms (52, 54, 56) are installed to rotate propeller (48) by the propeller shaft (46), and additionally comprises opposite internal (14) and outside (42) sides.
