FIELD: hermetics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing compositions providing tightness in vacuum and vacuum-autoclaving process of forming polymer composite materials for use in aircraft industry, mechanical engineering, and other national economy areas. Sealing composition, showing high gas impermeability, heat resistance, cohesion strength, adhesion to metal and polyamide film and providing tightness for polyamide film sacs in vacuum formation process at temperature up to 180°C and negative pressure up to 1 kg/cm2 and in vacuum-autoclaving process at pressure 2 kg/cm2 to achieve temperature 125°C, ageing for 30 min, and further heating to 180°C, contains butyl rubber, polyisobutylene with molecular weight 10000-25000, chalk, asbestos, mineral oil, and alkylphenol-formaldehyde resin.

The invention relates to sealing compositions, ensuring tightness in the process of vacuum and vacuum-pressure molding of polymer-composite materials and can be used in the aviation industry, mechanical engineering and other sectors of the economy.

Known compositions based on butyl rubber in combination with polybutene, esterified rosin, phenol-formaldehyde resin, carbon black, kaolin, calcium oxide (patent of great Britain No. 1541609, 1979) and the composition based on chlorobutyrate or mixture of chlorobutyrate with butyl rubber in a ratio of 1:1, comprising a copolymer of isobutylene, isoprene and divinylbenzene, tall oil, hydrogenated rosin, a plasticizer, Aerosil, white carbon, asbestos, calcium oxide, silicon oxide and talc (Belgium patent No. 735077, 1973).

The disadvantage of these compositions is that they only heat resistant to 150°and up to 120°C.

The closest technical solution to the proposed sealing composition is a sealant composition according to the patent of Russian Federation №2204580, CL 09 To 3/10, C 08 L 23/22, 2000. This sealing composition based on butyl rubber polymer binder includes filler is chalk, a plasticizer and a vulcanizing agent.

This composition is applied to ensure the ecene the tightness of the processes of vacuum and vacuum-pressure molding of articles made of polymer composite materials and metals at temperatures from 125° With up to 180°C.

However, although this sealing composition and has a number of important qualities: ensures the integrity, stability and reliability of technological processes shaping up to 180°and the ease of dismantling of the abutting surfaces at the end of the molding, but this song is aging rapidly, losing adhesive properties, has limited application, as it contains isoprene rubber (95%-98%) and active vulcanizing agent, zinc oxide.

If the above-mentioned disadvantages of the sealing composition can be determined by analyzing the composition, another disadvantage of this composition was detected only in its experimental use - the inability to apply this composition during the process of vacuum-pressure molding at a pressure of up to 2 kgf/cm2.

The objective of the invention is to provide a sealing composition having a high gas impermeability, heat resistance, cohesive strength, adhesion to metal and polyamide film, ensuring tightness bags of polyamide film in the vacuum forming process at a temperature of up to 180°With vacuum up to a pressure of 1 kgf/cm2and vacuum-pressure forming at a supply pressure of up to 2 kgf/cm2with the temperature reaches 125°With the highlight is ICOI within 30 minutes and with further increase of temperature up to 180° C.

The technical result from the use of the invention is to provide a sealing composition having a high gas impermeability, heat resistance, cohesive strength, adhesion to metal and polyamide film used in the manufacture of bags from a polyamide film in the vacuum forming process at a temperature of up to 180°With vacuum up to a pressure of 1 kgf/cm2and vacuum-pressure forming at a supply pressure of up to 2 kgf/cm2when the temperature reaches 125°aged for 30 minutes and with further increase of temperature up to 180°With technological after molding, for easy dismantling of joined surfaces.

This is achieved in that the sealing composition as the polymeric binder further comprises a polyisobutylene with a molecular mass of 10000-25000, as filler further comprises asbestos, as a plasticizer contains mineral oil, and as a vulcanizing agent alkylphenolethoxylates resin in the following ratio of components, parts by weight:

The composition is made in the mixer by mixing all components at a temperature not exceeding 110°and then extrusives in the form of a tape given geometrical dimensions.

An unexpected result during use of the present compositions is that an opportunity arose to apply it to ensure the integrity of the processes of vacuum and vacuum-pressure molding of articles made of polymer composite materials and metals at temperatures from 125°to 180°With vacuum-pressure forming, even when applying pressure to 2 kg/cm2when the temperature reaches 125°aged for 30 minutes and with further increase of temperature up to 180°providing ease of dismantling of joined surfaces that other songs to perform could not.

The composition has been tested on the following parameters:

1. The strength of bonding with the metal at the margin, MPa;

2. Tightness at a temperature of 180°C for 6 hours on models under a pressure of 2 ATM.

3. Sealing ability of the composition to keep up stand is rnost metal after exposure to temperatures of 180° C.

The formulation and properties of the sealing compositions according to the invention are given in table No. 1 and No. 2.

Use are listed in table 1 grades of mineral oils and alkylphenolethoxylates resins proved that the properties of the sealing composition is not changed.

Specified in table 1 combination of components, and the use in the composition alkylphenolethoxylates resin eliminates podolinskiy on "cold", to increase the storage time of the composition up to 1 year, to carry out the process of vacuum forming at a temperature of up to 180°With vacuum up to a pressure of 1 kgf/cm2and vacuum-pressure molding under a pressure of up to 2 kgf/cm2when the temperature reached 125°aged for 30 minutes and further increasing the temperature to 180°With technological after molding, for easy dismantling of joined surfaces.

The claimed composition is plastic, has good thixotropic properties. Change the specified autosizecomponents leads to the reduction of the technological properties of the sealing composition, namely the ability to keep up with the metal surface after the molding process (example 1) or leakage of the molding process (example 6). For the manufacture of sealing composition is used only domestic raw materials. The proposed sealing composition is a hazardous material, as in its manufacture components used 3-4 hazard class.

The proposed composition was tested in industrial conditions. The tests confirmed the expected properties above.

These attributes make the proposed solution from the prototype and determine compliance with this decision, the requirements of the invention.

A sealing composition comprising a polymeric binder is a butyl rubber, a filler is chalk, a plasticizer and a vulcanizing agent, characterized in that it as a polymeric binder further comprises a polyisobutylene with a molecular mass of 10000-25000, as filler further comprises asbestos, as a plasticizer contains mineral oil, and as a vulcanizing agent alkylphenolethoxylates resin in the following ratio of components, parts by weight:

The technical result of the offered invention is an increase of the maximal operating temperature, a decrease of a temperature coefficient of expansion, an increase of the heat conduction, provision of crack- resistance and positive stability to a heat shock. The declared technical task is reached due to the fact, that the composition additionally contains quartz, aluminum oxide, talcum.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cross-linking binding composition based on an aqueous base comprising (A) an aqueous dispersion of hybrid resin based on polyester-polyacrylate that comprises 50-90 wt.-% of polyester and 10-50 wt.-% of polyacrylate.
