The invention relates to the technology of production on the surface of the metal or other material (plastic, paper, etc.) relief of the visual image, including artistic, historical or financial value, while providing protection against forgery.

This solution is taken as the prototype of the present invention.

It allows to some extent to protect the product against forgery. However, since the decorative surface has no tones, this method does not allow to perform complex relief, such as portrait, image whose transmission requires a range of tones, which provides the ambience of a portrait, a certain facial expression and other necessary details. Prototype method allows only flat, relatively simple image, for example, letters, numbers, etc.

The present invention laid the task of providing transmission capabilities of a wide range of tones from white to black, and thus the formation of complex volumetric artistic images that will significantly increase the degree of protection of the product against forgery.

According to the invention this problem is solved due to the fact that in the method of manufacturing products with a decorative surface with a printed image, comprising forming a decorative surface, is made in the form of alternating depressions and protrusions to form in the computer's memory is a three dimensional decorative surface with alternating protrusions and depressions form in the computer's memory is a three dimensional image, combine these is dressed in a uniform volumetric model and then transferred to the unified dimensional model of the product by mechanical or laser engraving.

Thanks to the implementation of the distinguishing characteristics achieved important technical result, which is that the claimed method provides a transmission range of a halftone image.

The applicant has not found any sources of information containing data about the impact of an alleged distinguishing signs on achieved as a result of their implementation of the technical result.

Each element form highly complex surfaces of different reflecting the light, and the transitions are smooth and not abrupt. The result is the effect of volume, transferred subtle artistic nuances of the image.

This, according to the applicant demonstrates compliance with this technical solution criterion ″inventive step″.

The claimed method is implemented as follows. In the specific example prepare brass blanks of the desired size. The photograph (image) scan. Then in the computer memory to form a three dimensional decorative surface with alternating protrusions and depressions (base) (figure 1), as well as a three dimensional image (figure 4). After that, both models combine in computer memory in a single volume model (6). Next, a single volumetric model is transferred to the product by mechanical or laser engraving. In the specific example mechanical engraving is carried out using engraving-milling machines numerically controlled manufacturing firms BAUBLIS (Germany) SB2530285/SM.

Building a three-dimensional model framework implemented using AutoCAD 2000, the formation of a three-dimensional model image and a single three-dimensional model was implemented using the program ArtCAMPro. The translation of a single three-dimensional model in the program for machine company BAUBLIS by using ArtiFex software, which is supplied with this machine.

To implement the method used is known mater what materials and equipment with known software.

SUBSTANCE: method for creating a concealed image within counter-forgery protective elements of polygraphic products includes, for special protective element consisting of multiple intersecting lines, forming an offset for a portion of bitmap lines utilized to make ornament of aforementioned protective element, for half the step of bitmap line step.
