Method for treating external reproductive organs in dogs

FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating tumors of external reproductive organs in dogs: in preoperational period for 3 d one should introduce 20%-hypertonic solution of ACD-2 fraction upon 0.5%-novocaine solution at 0.1-0.3 ml working solution/cu. cm tumor into tumor basis, at not more than 0.4 ml pure ACD-2/10 kg canine body weight. One should dissect the tumor within the limits of healthy tissue, close vessels and wound defect after removing the tumor due to electrocoagulation of submucous layer at scab's development.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.

The invention relates to veterinary medicine and can be used for the surgical treatment of tumors of the vulva in dogs.

There is a method of introducing into the base of the tumor isotonic solutions faction ASD-2 trivia or novocaine for a long time with the purpose of therapeutic treatment (tumor resorption), but this method requires long-term treatment (30-40 days), often gives positive (tumor resorption), a result that ultimately requires further surgical treatment (Terekhov A.F. Veterinary Oncology. M.: Kolos, 1977).

Known method of electrocoagulation tumors without excision. This method is convenient for the destruction of very small tumor entities, and cannot be applied to medium and large tumors. For electrocautery larger tumors require more time and higher temperature, which leads to charring and prolonged wound healing. Insufficient electrocoagulation tumor tissue leads to the restoration of the tumor and relapse (Beiersdorf D. Treatment and prevention of cancer: an integrated approach (Tr.)/M, 2000).

Reducing the time for the operation, and a shorter post-operative tissue repair is accomplished as follows: during the three days before the operation in which the base of the tumor is injected 20-% (hypertonic) solution of the SDA-2 at 0.5% novocaine at a rate of 0.1-0.3 ml working solution of 1 cm 3tumors, of not more than 0.4 ml of pure DCA-2 for 10 kg of body weight of the dog, and then produce surgical excision of the tumor within the boundaries of healthy tissue (exclusion zone), and immediately after the complete removal of the tumor coagulated edge fabric scabbing.

Example: After a three-day introduction 20-% (hypertonic) solution of SDA-2 at 0.5% novocaine at a rate of 0.1-0.3 ml working solution of 1 cm3tumors, of not more than 0.4 ml of pure DCA-2 for 10 kg of body weight of the dog spend excision transmissible venereal sarcoma localized in the threshold of the vagina, in the mouth of the urethra. As a result of this pre-processing on the injection solution is local tissue reaction in the form of aseptic inflammation with impaired innervation and blood supply of the tumor site, partial necrosis of tumor Foundation that promotes rapid and complete separation of it from the surrounding tissues and eliminates the possibility of excessive bleeding. Partial absorption and resorption in the surrounding tissue of the mortar fraction of the SDA-2 stimulates the General and local immunity, activation of the processes of wound healing and postoperative recovery of tissue function. During the operation, by electrocoagulation of the submucosal layer and adjacent tissues scabbing close renew the th defect. As a result, the time for the operation is reduced by 68% due to reduction of time for closing of blood vessels, wound, there is no need plastic walls of the vagina and urethra. The timing of postoperative wound healing reduced from 14 days to 3-5 days. Happened occurrence implant recurrence reduced by 96%.

Method of treatment of external genital organs of dogs with the application of a 20%solution faction ASD-2 at 0.5% novocaine in the preoperative period, the subsequent removal of the tumor and electrocoagulation of the wound defect allows you to: reduce the defect of the mucous membrane of the external genital organs; 2 times to reduce the time of operation; to eliminate the possibility of excessive bleeding; 10-11 days to reduce postoperative wound healing; 96% to reduce the likelihood of implantation of the tumor during the operation.

A method of treatment of tumors of the vulva dogs, including excision of the tumor within the boundaries of healthy tissue, characterized in that in the preoperative period of three days in the base of the tumor impose a 20%hypertonic solution faction ASD-2 0.5%solution of novocaine at 0.1 to 0.3 ml of the working solution of 1 cm3tumors, of not more than 0.4 ml of pure DCA-2 for 10 kg of body weight of the dog, after removal of the tumor vessels and wound defect is closed using electr the coagulation submucosal layer with scab formation.

SUBSTANCE: the method deals with applying chemopreparations incubated with autolymph and radiation therapy. Lymph taken out of patient's thoracic duct should be centrifuged for 30 min at 2200 rot./min, lymphatic plasma should be taken and frozen at -40 C, lymphatic formic elements should be incubated in a thermostat at 37 C for 1 h together with chemopreparations by a certain scheme to be reinfused for a patient intravenously by drops according to the given scheme. Then, 2 wk later, one should perform therapy with a split course of distance gammatherapy at single focal dosage (SFD) of 4 Gy. At the first stage one should apply per 2 Gy twice daily at 4-5-h-long interval 5 times weekly, at achieving focal dosage of 28 Gy it is necessary to have a week-long interval. Then radiation therapy should be continued but SFD of 4 Gy should be applied at once. One should fulfill 3 fractions of irradiation per a week, there are 6 fractions during the second stage, totally. Total focal dosage (TFD) per the whole course of irradiation corresponds to 52 Gy. About 4 wk after radiation therapy one should defrost lymphatic plasma to incubate it with the same chemopreparations in a thermostat at 37 C for 1 h to be then reinfused for a patient intravenously by drops. The method enables to decrease tumor volume and tumor process metastasing without any operative interference.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with insulin preparations applied in therapy of diabetes mellitus. This innovation could be applied in medicinal industry for insulin manufacturing. To obtain insulin one should apply reindeer's pancreas to be homogenized in solution of hydrochloric acid ethanol followed by extraction with subsequent clarification of solution and obtaining the supernatant which then should undergo ion-exchange chromatography and isoelectric deposition by obtaining insulin. The latter should be purified due to high-performance reversed-phase liquid chromatography. Insulin obtained is competitive for the bond with insulin receptor at concentration of above 100 ng/ml due to causing high increase of receptor binding, moreover, it has higher hydrophoby against standard insulins, thus, it has certain differences in the structure of its molecule.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of insulin manufacturing.
