SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes housing for mounting worked part and milling module with milling cutter. Milling module is arranged in rest that may move long and across worked part. In order to enhance accuracy of working due to lowered influence of cutting efforts upon worked part absorption of temperature stresses occurred in system and provision of high parameters of micro-irregularities, roller stops are mounted in housing for mounting working envelope made of elastic material with worked part molded into it. At both sides of milling cutter in milling module height-regulated supporting skies are arranged; said skies engage with elastic supporting sites of working envelope of part. Milling module is mounted in one end of tie rod rocking in articulation joint of rest. Counter-weight is arranged on other end of tie rod and it is spaced by adjustable distance from said articulation joint.

The invention relates to the field of machine tools and can be used for machining on milling machines long and short of details.

Known milling machine (Polytechnical dictionary. - M.: Soviet encyclopedia, 1980, str)containing a frame for fixing the workpiece and the milling module with the cutter placed on the support, having the ability to move along and across the workpiece.

Machining this machine is accompanied by errors associated with installation details, deformation of the elastic system of the machine - fixture - tool - item under the action of the cutting force; imbalance of rotating elements of the milling module with the mill in the area of milling the workpiece; errors caused by deformation of heat and internal pressure during technological processing - when the tolerances of the underlying dimensions do not provide the desired position of the workpiece when installed in the fixture.

When operating a milling machine is not provided the required accuracy of processing.

The technical result of the invention is to reduce the impact forces on the workpiece, the absorption occurring in the system thermal stresses, ensuring high parameters of asperities.

SUBSTANCE: in order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities and to improve efficiency, cutting of back, trough and bottom of inter-blade duct is realized simultaneously for one technological procedure by means of one annular cutting tool and blade edges are further worked before finishing them. Rotation axes of tool and mono-impeller are arranged in such a way that they cross by predetermined angle depending upon curvature of worked surfaces while providing rectilinear motion of cutting tool along three axes of three-dimensional coordinate system and rotation of cutting tool around said three axes. Tool includes cutting end members arranged along annular perimeter of body. Length of T-shaped cutting member is determined by value exceeding depth of inter-blade duct.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation and feed motion along worked surface to blank and to milling cutter in body of which cutters having round cutting tips of hard alloy are mounted. In order to enhance efficiency and quality of working milling cutter is provided with damping member in the form of washer like corrugated spring. Body of milling cutter has trapezoidal radial grooves enlarged to axis of milling cutter and designed for placing said cutters with cutting tips of hard alloy engaged with damping member. Surfaces of radial grooves are faced with bronze porous self-lubricating plates. All said plates except one lateral plate are plane-parallel and they are fixed to body. Said lateral plate is in the form of wedge and it is designed for adjusting gap between it and cutter with use of screw. Lids are secured to body by means of screws designed for adjusting elasticity of damping member.

One end of cutter is made corrugated for joining to mated corrugated end of coupling mounted on mandrel in slots for axial displacement and biased by nut to cutter with the help of damping member formed as disk spring. Other end of cutter is biased with the help of nut through one of thrust roller bearings. Before machining, resiliency of damping member may be regulated for increasing resistance to vibration, providing continuous-intermittent bringing into contact and separation of cutter teeth from contact with surface under machining process, said surface having thermomechanical and other defects.

One cutter head is adjusted for preliminary rough working and other cutter head is adjusted for finish working at axial feed. Cutter heads are arranged one opposite to other by inclination angle (determined according to given formula) relative to plane normal to blank axis and passing through center of worked spherical surface. Paths of rotation of head cutter apexes have common point arranged in lengthwise axis of blank. Heads may be rotated from one drive unit at the same revolution number for timing motion of cutters due to successive alternative passing of said common point by cutters of rough and finish heads.
