SUBSTANCE: medical x-ray cassette belongs to cassettes with amplifying x-ray screens. Universal cassette has case made of sheet material. Case is provided with front and back caps. Front and back amplifying screens sensitive in green range of spectrum are mounted inside the case for placing x-ray film between them; the film has two-sided emulsion layer. Front amplifying screen is made to be sensitive in blue range of spectrum. Linear ration of amplifying influence of the screens depends on power of x-ray radiation.

The invention relates to the medical industry, in particular the production of x-ray cassettes with x-ray intensifying screens used in medicine.

Currently rechentechnik have been widely used digital x-ray units that use tapeless technology to produce images, which has some significant advantages over traditional film x-rays, in particular, such as the opportunity to actively work with the picture in terms of increasing individual portions of the image while strengthening or weakening of the image density, the transmission of images via the Internet to get advice from experts, etc. But film radiography has several advantages that are not available as digital technology. These benefits include:

- high spatial resolution, which can reach up to 10 pairs of l/mm (for digital image resolution does not exceed 2-4 pairs l/mm);

- familiar to radiologists view image - x-rays originate from the focal point of the tube, whereas in most digital cameras, this is a fan-shaped scan beam (in both cases, the form bodies different from each other);

- the cost of conventional x-ray machines much cheaper digital AP is Arat, therefore, the installation of expensive digital cameras in district clinics or hospitals remains a challenge.

The advantages of x-ray film apparatus is largely associated with the use of x-ray cassettes with intensifying screens, luminescent properties which can increase the sensitivity of the film is 10-100 times, although partially degrades the resolution of the picture. Currently used film siracusaviale (the sensitivity of which lies in the blue-violet part of the spectrum of radiation with a wavelength of about 400 nm) and selenocysteine (the sensitivity of which lies in the green part of the spectrum of radiation with a wavelength of about 545 nm).

Known medical x-ray cassette with siracusaviale amplifying fluorescent screens (see Vccmin. X-ray machines. M: Energy, 1973, pp. 33-35), comprising a body of sheet aluminum with front and rear caps, installed front and rear siracusaviale intensifying screens, which is placed between the x-ray film with double-sided emulsion layer. Each of the screens when irradiated by x-ray radiation illuminates the adjacent emulsion layer of the film, thereby increasing the sensitivity of the film as a whole.

The main is the disadvantages of the known cassette can be considered, first, what siracusaviale film has a lower sensitivity and contrast, compared to selenocysteine, which increases the dose burden to the patient when the same image quality and by increasing the exposure time reduces the service life of the x-ray tube. This is because siracusaviale intensifying screens are linearly falling characteristic dependence of the gain of the screen on the energy of incident x-ray radiation (voltage x-ray tube). This means that the higher energy x-rays above 100 Kev, required for examination volumetric bodies (chest or hip), a reduction in the sensitivity of the screen, and therefore requires an additional increase of the radiation power and, as a consequence, the increase of a dose.

Secondly, contrast and sensitivity siracusaviale film has a greater dependence on conditions of photo processing and used chemical reagents than selenocysteine, and thus often leads to marriage and having to re-shoot, and accordingly, increase the dose of the patient load.

In addition, siracusaviale film has a higher value compared to selenocysteine that the cost of carrying out x-ray is of obsledovanie.

Closest to the claimed technical solution (prototype) is a medical x-ray cassette with selenocysteine amplifying fluorescent screens (see Peccatiello and Jsullivan “Introduction to medical x-rays”, Eastman Kodak, Department of medical science, Rochester, new York, 1993, pp. 81-83, 91-92 [Reprinted in Russia in 1996]), which includes a body of sheet material (plastic or metal) with a front and back cover, which features front and rear selenocysteine intensifying screens, which is placed between the x-ray film with double-sided emulsion layer, and between the rear cover and reinforcing the rear screen is placed a protective layer consisting of lead foil.

The main disadvantages of the known cassette can be considered, first, that most of the previously operated x-ray apparatus equipped with old cassettes with siracusaviale intensifying screens and their translation into new cassettes require significant funding.

Secondly, installed in the cassette selenocysteine screens at low energies of the incident x-rays (up to 50 Kev) have low sensitivity, requiring increased doses at obtaining images of small objects, for example, limbs, heads the or teeth.

The technical problem solved by the present invention is to remedy these disadvantages, namely the creation of a universal cartridge that is able to function effectively as siracusaviale films and selenocysteine films with high sensitivity over the entire range of x-ray energy.

The specified technical task in the universal medical x-ray cassette comprising a body of sheet material with front and rear caps, fitted front and back intensifying screens, which is placed between the x-ray film with double-sided emulsion layer, is achieved by the fact that as a front intensifying screen is used siracusaviale screen and the rear screen - selenocysteine screen.

The specified execution cartridge allows you to simultaneously eliminate all the disadvantages tapes, working with siracusaviale and selenocysteine films, i.e. the requested combination of intensifying screens cassette works equally well with both types of films, and it works effectively in the whole range of x-ray energy that is unique among the known technical solutions, and therefore meets the criterion of “inventive step”.

The inventive cassette includes: a casing of sheet material with the front 1 and rear 2 caps in which you installed the front reinforcing siracusaviale screen 3 and the rear reinforcing selenocysteine screen 4, which is placed between the x-ray film 5 with double-sided emulsion layer 6. Figure 2 presents the experimentally obtained graphs of the reinforcing actions of screens from voltage x-ray tube, where: 10 - dependence of the gain siracusaviale screens; 11 - dependence of the gain selenocysteine screens; 12 - the dependence of the gain screens on the proposed technical solution.

The inventive cartridge works in the following way. Falling out of focus x-ray tube 7 x-ray radiation 9 passes through the target object 8 and illuminates the cartridge. This low-energy part of the x-ray radiation 9 is absorbed siracusaviale the screen 3, which is converted to blue light in the optical range, which illuminates the front emulsion layer 6. More high-energy part of the x-ray radiation 9 comes to Zelenokumsk the positive screen 4, where is converted into green light in the optical range, which illuminates the back emulsion layer 6. This achieves a linear dependence of the reinforcing actions of screens depending on the energy of x-ray radiation.

Specific implementations of the proposed technical solution in the following examples.

Example 1. In the inventive cassette as a front reinforcing siracusaviale screen 3 screen on the basis of Y2O2S:b, and as a reinforcing selenocysteine screen - the screen on the basis of Gd2O2S:Tb.

Example 2. In the inventive cassette as a front reinforcing siracusaviale screen 3 screen on the basis of Y(TaO)4:Nb, and as a reinforcing selenocysteine screen - the screen on the basis of La2O2S:Tb.

Thus, the proposed universal medical x-ray cassette can effectively use it as siracusaviale and selenocysteine film.
