The invention relates to medicine, namely to dermatology and urology, may be used in the treatment of strictures of the urethra, including cicatricial narrowing her prostatic part, resulting from the inflammatory process in the urinary tract and accompanying sclerotic changes in the tissue of the prostate gland.

To date, the treatment of patients with narrowing of the urethra has presented considerable difficulties. The known device for the treatment of strictures of the urethra (1). The operation of the device.

After the introduction of the metal cylinder in the urethra on its halves in place stricture effect a constant electromagnetic field. This halves of the cylinder are shifted relative to each other in opposite directions under the influence of a constant magnetic field, the gradient of which, if necessary, gradually changing in the direction of increase or decrease. Thereby, it is possible to increase or decrease the pressure of the two halves of the cylinder at the site of narrowing of the urethra inside the urethra. Power and time pressure halves of the cylinder at the site of stricture of the urethra are selected (increase or decrease) individually, taking into account the subjective and objective signs of disease (i.e. the degree of narrowing). Included in the holes of the first half metal cylinder protrusions of the second half metal cylinder allow you to move both halves of the cylinder only in opposite to each other directions without lateral displacement. The positive effect of the use of the device is achieved primarily due to the fact that the possibility of injury to the mucous membrane of the urethra, which may occur by printcom change her pressure in case of replacement of the bougie smaller diameter on the bougie larger diameter.

It is very important that the reduction of pressure on the mucous membrane of the urethra when the patient's pain during the procedure can be performed instantly and prevents the chance of tissue trauma.
