The invention relates to medicine and for the creation of biologically active additives - drug collection in the form of herbal tea, used in complex treatment and prevention of pathological craving for alcohol.

Since ancient times, medicinal plants are widely used for the treatment of various conditions and diseases. Today the experience of folk medicine, particularly herbal medicine (phytotherapy), surely restores its position. Under herbal medicine refers to the use for medicinal purposes dosage forms of drugs, the active substance which is produced from vegetable raw materials.

Herbal medicines and herbs themselves have several advantages over synthetic drugs.

First, it is the absence of complications and minimal side effects;

secondly, preference and high efficiency of these means in respect of a number of illnesses and certain groups of patients;

thirdly, a wide scope for combining and combinations of plant components, mutually reinforcing its action. In addition, the combination of traditional medicines and herbs can speed up the healing process and lead to better results.

Fourthly, not to mention the lower cost of these drugs compared to many synthetic means On the choice of drug effect and subjective position of many patients, that is largely due to our traditional and historical backgrounds, family life - "grandma's recipes, infusions, decoctions, teas, etc. (Zharkova NB, Morozova M.A. et al., 2003).

In narcological practice herbal remedies have been used successfully for a long time (A.G. Hoffmann et al., 1998; Egorov V.F. et al., 1997).

In particular, the well-known collection, consisting of medicinal plants: herb wormwood, grass yarrow, thyme herb, leaves of nettle, inflorescences tansy, calamus roots of marsh in the following ratio of components, parts: herb wormwood 2; herb yarrow 2; herb thyme 1; leaves of nettle 1; inflorescences tansy 1; calamus roots of marsh 3. The treatment results in the collection there was a positive effect in alleviating the pathological craving for alcohol and depressive dystrophic symptoms in 60 patients with chronic alcoholism (see EN 2178707).

The closest technical solution proposed is the collection of medicinal herbs used in the form of a herbal tea called "Narkotik"containing the following components: thyme herb, grass and inflorescences of maçka yellow, rhizome of Rhaponticum carthamoides (Rhaponticum carthamoides), grass, bearberry, the herb centaury, inflorescences tansy, grass European wild ginger, herb wormwood herb St. John's wort and Senna leaf in a certain ratio. Use this tool gives you not only psihometricheskii effect, but also psychological: often there is a complete rejection of alcoholic beverages (see EN 2142289).

The objective of the invention is to expand the Arsenal of biologically active food additives used in complex treatment of patients with alcohol dependence, as well as reducing the risk of withdrawal syndrome in chronic alcoholism.

The technical result of the invention consists in the implementation of this assignment.

The problem is solved, we offer alcohol teas from medicinal plants "Bowl of sobriety - Stimulus"that contains the herb thyme, rhizomes with roots of Rhaponticum carthamoides, the herb centaury, the herb and the leaves of the bearberry, and optionally containing dandelion roots and Bay leaf, with the following content, wt.%:

The invention consists in the following.

At the initial stage of treatment, when the relief of acute alcohol intoxication syndrome deprivation (withdrawal violations) primarily conducted detoxification activities. Detoxification treatment includes the appointment of a fluid salt solutions, anti-inflammatory drugs, diuretics, thiol compounds, nootropic drugs.

In post-abstinent condition most often the clinical picture is dominated by various affective disorders, which are often the "facade" of the pathological craving for alcohol (PVA). Affective components PVA undifferentiated by, but at the same time, they meet with great constancy, obligate and unlike other components of attraction is relatively easily recognized and identified. Affective disorders can be included in the scope of complex syndromes, such as astenodepressivnyh, anxiety and hypochondriacal and other Great weight in clinical alcohol dependence is asthenic neurosis and symptoms, which often has a tendency to long for. Rapid social adaptation of patients return to work and other) largely depends on the duration of the existence of the symptoms.

Adequate cured the e alcohol withdrawal syndrome and post-abstinent state has a decisive impact on the further course of the disease, because it is at this stage is to create the conditions to prevent early recurrences.

In connection with the foregoing, is of considerable interest for use in the treatment of alcohol dependence biologically active additives in accordance with the invention of herbal tea, received a code name "Bowl sobriety Incentive".

Herbal tea "Cup of sobriety - Stimulus consists of plants, has long been widely used in medical practice: the herb thyme, centaury, St. John's wort, bearberry leaves, Laurel (Bay leaf), dandelion roots, rhizomes with roots of Rhaponticum.

The herb thyme is also used as an expectorant in acute and chronic respiratory diseases in folk medicine used as a means of causing an aversion to alcohol.

Herb centaury is used for gastritis with low acidity, liver disease, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus. Centaury is also used as a means of causing an aversion to alcohol.

Bearberry leaves - used for diseases of the kidneys, urinary bladder as an effective diuretic, disinfectant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent.

Rhizomes with roots of Rhaponticum (Rhaponticum carthamoides) - used as stimulants when functionalityto nervous system, low productivity, with swelling at recovering people.

The herb has anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiseptic, stimulating tissue regeneration effect, improves blood supply and some internal organs. Currently, there are data on the anxiolytic action of St. John's wort, is associated not only with the inhibition of MAO, but the influence on the GABAergic system, as well as on the process of reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine (Zharkova NB, Morozova M.A. et al., 2003).

Dandelion roots - have choleretic, anti-inflammatory, machigonne and normalizing metabolism effect. Apply tonic for anemia and fatigue, have a tonic and at the same time calming effect on the nervous system.

Bay leaf has pronounced hepatoprotective properties, helps regenerate liver cells. The constant use reduces cravings for alcohol.

To study the effectiveness of the proposed herbal tea in the complex treatment of patients with alcohol dependence compared to traditional psychopharmacological treatment was conducted clinical research sample of patients that meet the criteria of diagnosis in ICD-10 alcohol dependence".

Were allocated to the main and control group is s.

Studied the spectrum of therapeutic efficacy of herbal tea "Cup of sobriety - Stimulus"was determined by its impact on somatovegetative, psychopathological symptoms in the structure of alcohol withdrawal syndrome and post-abstinent state, we compare with a control group of patients.

Biologically active food Supplement herbal tea "Cup of sobriety Incentive" is a dry vegetable mixture weighing 1.2 g, packaged in filter bags. The mixture was used crushed raw material powder with a degree of grinding of the morphological groups of raw materials for filter bags with a particle size of 2 mm.

Were conducted clinical trials of the proposed tools.

The total number of patients who participated in the study amounted to 37 people, all of them passed in-patient treatment at the Department of clinical psychopharmacology NSC of addictology. In the beginning of the study, patients randomly the way were divided into 2 groups-primary (20 patients) and control (17 patients). By age, the main clinical-dynamic and socio-demographic groups did not differ. All patients were male. The age of patients ranged from 20 to 55 years, mean age of 42.5±9,9 year. The disease duration in the present sample ranged from 3 to 30 years, mean duration of 17.1±9,2 years.

Diagnosis of axial syndromes based was conducted by ICD-10.

Accordingly, the inclusion criteria the sample was represented by patients with a mean II stage of alcohol dependence. This was evidenced by: fully formed primary pathological craving for alcohol, loss of quantitative control, the maximum tolerance for alcohol, which constituted the majority of patients at the time of the survey from 0.5 to 0.7 to 1.0 liter of vodka a day, deployed alcohol withdrawal syndrome (AAS), as well as the sharpening of premorbid personality traits.

All patients had chronic somatic diseases caused by prolonged alcohol intoxication (exacerbation): the most frequently diagnosed liver disease (alcoholic steatosis, hepatitis, initial manifestations of cirrhosis of the liver and heart lesions in other organs occurs much less frequently. Many patients revealed signs of encephalopathy, usually of moderate severity, often see Sanogo Genesis. Negative social consequences was characterized by the violation of family relationships and the reduction of professional skills.

Alcohol withdrawal syndrome (AAS) was characterized by its typical somatovegetative and psychopathological disorders, the degree of severity (severity) was different: light degree of expressiveness - 7, medium - 21; heavy - 9.

Autonomic disorders were presented hyperhidrosis, pallor or flushing of the face, thirst, General tremor, dyspeptic disorders, fluctuations in blood pressure, tachycardia. Of affective disorders was dominated by low mood, anxiety, restlessness, tension, guilt, sleep disturbances with nightmares, slabodushie, aggressiveness. Of neurological disorders were present (at admission) generalized tremor, oculomotor disorders, disorders of coordination, unsteady gait, pomahivaya when planosol the sample, the volatility in the Romberg position. The duration of withdrawal symptoms ranged from 5-7 10-12 days.

In post-abstinent condition, the most frequent were asthenic manifestations, different affective (depressive) disorders: decreased mood, anxiety, irritability, dysphoria, much less was observed euphoria. Mental state PA is antov in this period was characterized by instability, rapid and frequent change of mood, often associated with exacerbation of the pathological craving for alcohol (PVA). A small proportion of patients showed a tendency to the formation of a protracted astenodepressivnyh States, when a sufficiently long time (1-1,5-2 months) remained low mood, lethargy, weakness, exhaustion, decreased performance and memory.

Treatment of AAS in the main and control groups did not differ in their approaches, was complex, involved the conduct of appropriate detoxification activities in the first 5-7 days was prescribed tranquilizers (Relanium, phenazepam), was used anticonvulsants (Finlepsin). In postestimation condition in therapeutic programs were used antidepressants (lerivon, coaxil, etc.). Throughout clinical studies were conducted individually rational psychotherapy.

Phytotea "Stimulus" was administered in the primary group from the first day of the development of alcohol withdrawal syndrome according to the following scheme: 1 filter-package of 3 times a day, in the post-abstinent condition - 1 filter-package of 2 times a day.

The duration of treatment was 30 days (4 weeks).

Examination of the patients was performed at the day of admission (day 0), then - Z, 10 and 30 days of treatment.

The effect was recognized as good, if achieved 7%reduction of symptoms on a scale of assessment somatovegetative manifestations by the 10th day of treatment, indicators of the scale of the overall clinical impression was less than 2 points on the 10 day of treatment.

When analyzing the results of the survey took into account that the purpose of herbal tea "Stimulus" was held in conjunction with psychotropic drugs (tranquilizers, antidepressants, etc.). In the appointment of herbal tea in the first place, attention was drawn to the dynamics of vegetative and psychopathological disorders in the structure of AAS and post-abstinent state.

Alcohol withdrawal syndrome. When using herbal tea "Stimulus" in complex treatment of AAS were identified its diuretic effect.

Diuretic effect of herbal tea is important, since stimulation of diuresis by prior infusion of adequate amounts of fluids is one of the main components of a General method of detoxification.

Herbal tea also has moderate vegetotherapy action, when applied to 5-7 days of therapy were significantly hyperhidrosis, passed thirst, nausea, stabilized indicators HELL. therapeutic effect was most noticeable when the predominant clinical picture AAS asteno vegetative disorders mild and moderate severity.

It is important to note that, despite the fact that the composition of herbal tea includes funds with teturamopodobnaya effect (thyme, herb centaury), if PR is the change in the AAS in any case, it was not observed any deterioration, occurrence of adverse events (nausea, vomiting, skin vascular responses, raising HELL).

As a rule, patients with alcohol dependence in AAS have many nonspecific complaints of headaches, General weakness, fatigue, lethargy, heaviness in the head, etc. In the main group in the application of herbal tea asthenic symptoms underwent a reduction, starting with 5-7 days of therapy, and the maximum therapeutic effect was observed by the end of the 2nd week of therapy. The highest efficiency of herbal tea was observed with alcohol dependence mild and moderate severity.

Post-abstinent state.

Post-abstinent period in patients with alcohol dependence differs unstable affective symptoms. Prevailed depressive disorder, anxiety with a feeling of inner tension, anxiety. Patients in post-abstinent period (ranging from 10-12 days) in patients receiving the herbal tea has been observed to stabilize the condition, when the background spirit has been preserved even during the day, and anxiety was reduced. According to clinical observations herbal tea has a slightly pronounced, mild anxiolytic effect, which becomes visible to the 2nd week of therapy.

It should be noted that the acceptance of herbal tea in patients was not observed signs of daytime sleepiness, lethargy, is amelanotic psychomotor reactions. Patients were cheerful, sociable, active, and therefore improved psychotherapeutic contact with a physician.

Mild astenodepressivnyh and anxious symptomatology was somewhat faster than in the main group, that is, when included in a therapeutic program of herbal tea "Stimulus". Complete relief astenodepressivnyh manifestations occurred by 4 weeks of treatment.

Throughout the period of application of herbal tea "Stimulus" patients, there were no side effects, a single patient was not observed complications, including those related to improving or fluctuations in blood pressure.

The scale of General clinical experience has confirmed the good therapeutic effect of the preparation: after 4 weeks of taking the drug, a significant improvement was observed in 11 patients (light and medium severe symptoms), moderate improvement in 5 patients (moderate manifestations of the disease, the prevalence of anxiety disorders mild to moderate severity).

Our clinical study showed that herbal tea "Cup of sobriety Incentive" can be successfully used in the treatment of alcohol dependence.

Herbal tea has a mild diuretic effect, which manifests itself almost from the first day of treatment. Soft diuretica the cue effect can be espeso used when conducting detoxification activities in the AAS; priority category of patients are elderly, and patients with somatic burdened, in particular, diseases of the cardiovascular system and kidneys. Herbal tea also has moderate vegetotherapy action, mild antidepressant and anxiolytic effects, which become clinically visible from the 2nd week of admission. The positive properties of the herbal tea should be attributed to its restorative effect, which is especially important to consider when forming a protracted asthenic, astenodepressivnyh States. Effect on craving for alcohol remains a contentious issue, it is possible clarification only when the continuation of clinical trials on more extensive material.

Smooth, gradual development of therapeutic action, the absence of sedative (daytime sleepiness, psychomotor workload) and side effects benefits of mild manifestations of alcohol dependence, when the patient is fully preserves the social and labour activity during treatment.

High safety of herbal tea "Cup of sobriety - Incentive" can be used for certain groups of patients - elderly patients and patients with concomitant somatic pathology, in which the risk of side effects is particularly high.

So, the spectrum of therapeutic efficacy of herbal tea "Cup of sobriety Incentive": alcohol dependence easy and moderate severity; the initial stage of alcohol dependence, alcohol withdrawal syndrome mild and moderate; light and moderately expressed astenodepressivnyh, asthenic, anxiety within the framework of the manifestations of alcohol dependence. Preferred therapeutic groups of patients: the elderly, the presence of concomitant somatic pathology (mainly from the side of cardiovascular system and kidneys).

Recommended regimens: 1 air filter package 3 times a day in alcohol withdrawal syndrome; 1 filter-package of 2 times a day in post-abstinent state.
