Method for evaluating cerebral energetic state in younger schoolchildren living under conditions of european north

SUBSTANCE: one should apply active electrodes in frontal (Fz), occipital (Cz), parietal (Td, Ts) areas, as for reference electrode it should be applied in area of right-hand wrist. Registration of constant potential level (CPL) should be performed under conditions of decreased impact of cutaneous resistance. Then the data obtained should be compared with pre-established normative ones for this age group. One should apply mean values and root-mean-square (rms) deviations, moreover, if CPL value obtained is not beyond the limits of Fz = 15.95 ± 3.88 mV, Cz = 25.71 ± 4.56 mV, Oz = 25.92 ± 5.39 mV, Td = 24.18 ± 5.45 mV, Ts = 22.51 ± 6.06 mV, in this case CPL distribution shows normal cerebral energetic state.

The known method of electroencephalography /1/, which reflects the processes of perception and information processing, but does not register superslow physiological processes in the brain that characterize its energy. Known positron emission tomography brain /2/, which includes the introduction in the body of radioactive isotopes, using what is measured regional cerebral blood flow and estimated metabolism in certain brain regions, but the disadvantage of this method is the high cost, complexity and risk to the patient. Known method of rheoencephalography /3/characterizing the Central blood supply of the brain, but not revealing the energy state of the brain in children.

A prototype of the invention is /4/ is a way of assessing the energy state of the brain, including the installation of active electrodes on sagitally line in the frontal, occipital, parietal, and right and left temporal areas and the reference electrode, the area of the right wrist, the registration is carried out in the conditions of the reduced influence of skin potential, and then compare the obtained values with pre-mounted in an the logical conditions of normative values for the corresponding age group. Positive in this way is a simple informative study of the energy state of the human brain living in Central Russia. The disadvantage of this method is the lack of characterization of the normal distribution of the level of constant potential (SCP), reflecting energy costs brain child living in conditions of the European North of Russia.

The present invention is the increase in the information content of the method of estimating the energy state of the brain for children of primary school age living conditions in the North.

The invention consists in the fact that children northerners primary school age active electrodes are installed in the frontal (Fz), occipital (Cz), parietal (Oz) and temporal (Td, Ts), the reference electrode is located in the area of the right wrist, registration SCP is carried out under conditions of reduced skin effect resistance, then the obtained values are compared with the previously established for this age group normative values; used average values and standard deviation, in this case, if the value received by the main leads do not extend beyond Fz==15.59±3.88 MB, Cz=25.71±4.56 MB, Oz=25.92±5.39 MB, Td=24.18±5.45 MB, Ts=22.51 6.06 MB, the distribution of SCP examinee indicates a normal energy state of the brain.

The present invention is as follows. SCP from the Respondent - child 7-8 years old, living in conditions of the European North of Russia - registered monopolar using depolarizing silver chloride electrodes "EVL-1 M4" and "EE-G2 and DC amplifier with an input resistance of 10 Mω. Before applying the electrodes on the head of the examinee produced their preliminary testing in physiological solution, at which the measured potential difference and the resistance between the electrodes in the absence of a biological object, and the potential difference between the electrodes should not exceed 20 mV, and the interelectrode resistance 15-20 ohms (control measurement). The drift electrode potential should not exceed 1-2 mV in 10 minutes. Then the reference electrode is located on the wrist, active along the sagittal line in the frontal, Central, occipital regions, as well as in the right and left temporal divisions (point Fz, Cz, Oz, Td, Ts conventional electrophysiological scheme "10-20"). The received data is automatically processed to map the distribution of level of constant potential. Analysis of SCP is done by mapping obtained using a monopolar measurement values of SCP. In some cases, it is informative variance analysis of SCP in each of the abstraction from the average values registered in all regions of the head. This allows the estimation of local values of the SCP in each of the areas with the exclusion is m influences, coming from the reference electrode.
