The invention relates to the production of securities, protected from tampering, in particular banknotes, identity cards, etc.

Known protective element for counterfeit securities, including a layer located on the transparent polymer substrate of the magnetic layer, the dark ink made visible on clearance cutouts in the form of images and the layer with optically variable properties (see RF patent №2196357, 10.01.2003).

A disadvantage of the known protective element for counterfeit securities is the low quality of protection.

The technical result of the invention is to improve the quality of protection securities from a fake.

This is achieved by the fact that the dark layer is made with a variable optical density on its surface, a layer with optically variable properties is translucent with transparency from 20 to 80% and includes printing ink with optically variable pigments, and optical density of the dark ink is from 0.5 to 1.8 for the formation of images.
