FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filling-mediated manufacture of explosives and comprises filling casing with solid phase: trotyl in the form of scales, granules, and uneven pieces, evacuation of casing, and pouring molted trotyl, melt and/or solid phase being supplemented by pentaerythritol tetranitrate in amounts within the range of its natural solubility in trotyl.

EFFECT: achieved reliable susceptibility of trotyl charges without considerable increase in sensitivity to mechanical action.

The claimed invention relates to the field of explosive substances, produced by the fill. Applying the method of manufacturing cast charge on the basis of TNT.

Cast explosive charges of TNT, as you know, have low susceptibility to initiating pulse and for reliable initiation of detonation require additional detonator of powerful EXPLOSIVES or pressed TNT. Particularly acute issue is the articles of the civil explosive equipment, where the initiators are relatively low-powered blasting detonators, electric detonators and detonating cords. Usually the susceptibility of cast TNT to detonation is increased by the introduction of powerful BB-sensitizer (RDX or PETN) in amounts not less than 50%, i.e. instead of TNT using a highly sensitive mixture of TNT/RDX (TG) or mentality. However, this leads to a drastic rise in the cost of production and increase the danger of its use that is contrary to the conditions of industrial blasting.

The known method according to the patent of Russian Federation №2119145 (Application No. 96105976 from 27.03.98), where the susceptibility of cast TNT charges (checkers caps) to the standard means of initiation provided by the manufacturer of their containing gas include TNT granules, impregnated under vacuum with molten TNT. The disadvantages is the manual should include the necessity of special technology and equipment for producing such porous granules, while used in place of the pellets of the regular TNT flakes (most profitable) or monolithic pieces of no effect sensitization.

An object of the invention is to provide a reliable susceptibility TNT charges obtained using the solid phase and melt, regardless of the presence of the solid phase sensitizing porosity and without significantly increasing the sensitivity of the material charge to mechanical stress.

The technical result is achieved in the method of manufacturing a charge including the filling of the case the solid phase - TNT, degassing and pouring molten TNT. As the solid phase - TNT use TNT in the form of flakes, granules or lumps. In the molten TNT and(or) solid phase optionally enter the pentaerythritol TETRANITRATE within its natural solubility in the TNT in the following ratio of components (wt.%):

It was found also that the charges with conventional solid phase (scale, Kus is AMI, granules) the effect of increasing the susceptibility reliably is already apparent with 7% of PETN in the melt. The heater may be injected into the melt as by pouring, and in the preparation of the solid phase. Because of the solid fraction and melt-in-charge about the same (can range from 45 to 55%), the effect of the introduction of the heating elements in the melt or solid phase must also be the same.

Thus, the claimed technical solution radically expands the possibilities of the way, allowing you to use as a solid phase TNT any kind, including simple as regular scales.

As for the additives of the Heater, then its content is small and does not lead to a significant appreciation of charge. If the heating element is contained only in the melt or solid phase, which share in the charge is between 45% to 55% (for different solid phase), the overall charge of the maintenance of the Heater does not exceed 3.5 to 7%. Cannot be excluded and the option when the heater is contained in the solid phase, and in the melt. It is obvious that the effect of sensitization in this case will be even higher.
