SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used for enhancing sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial preparations. Invention involves applying hydrocarbonate chloride-sodium drinking mineral water "Obukhovskaya" with the total mineralization 1.8-2.2 g/l as an agent for enhancing sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial preparations that is used early for treatment of atopic dermatitis and as an agent for treatment of iodine-deficient states. It has been found by method using disks that mineral water "Obukhovskaya" provides enhancing sensitivity of microorganisms to such antibacterial preparations as antibiotics and specific preparations against yeast-like fungi.

The invention relates to medicine, namely to Microbiology, and can be used to increase the sensitivity of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi).

Known Dimexidum (dimethyl sulfoxide) is a drug used for the local treatment of skin diseases (pyoderma, erysipelas, ulcers), burns, bruises and arthritis. In addition to its own anti-inflammatory, local anesthetic and antiseptic actions, dimexide increases the sensitivity of microbes, including those resistant to antibiotics.

Has local irritant action: possible slight burning, itching, erythema, slight skin rash.

Contraindicated for use in pregnancy, severe lesions of the parenchymatous organs, angina, myocardial infarction, stroke, comatose States, atherosclerosis (Danilenko M.V., turkevych NM “Clinical application of Dimexidum”, Kiev, 1976; “Medicines used in medical practice in the USSR” edited Maglev, M., 1989).

The invention is directed to solution of the problem: the reduction of contraindications, the expansion of the means to increase the sensitivity of microorganisms to antimicrobial agents.

The task can be achieved by using drinking mineral water(CEM) Obukhovskaya with General mineralization of 1.8-2.2 g/l as a means to increase the sensitivity of microorganisms to antimicrobial agents.

Bicarbonate sodium chloride CEM Obukhovskaya used for drinking, rinsing the mouth, bathing, washing of the intestine, microenemas, pool.

Chemical composition of mineral water Obukhovskaya at pH 8.0:

In the study microcomponent composition it found silver, aluminum, boron, cobalt, iron, titanium, manganese, bromine, a significant amount of copper. Dissolved gases presents nitrogen, methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide. Specific components of the water Obukhovskaya are organic substances. In composition it refers to the waters of humus type.

As a means to increase the sensitivity of microorganisms to antimicrobial agents of this water Obukhovskaya not previously been used.

Examples of specific performance, confirming the effectiveness of CEM.

In the experiments used reference strains pyogenic bacteria (S.aureus, Ps.aeruginosa, E. coli), as well as clinical isolates of Staphylococcus and epidermal staphylococci (S.aureus, S.epidermidis), beta-hemolytic Streptococcus (by Streptococcus pyogenes), enterobacteria (E. coli, Proteus vulgaris) and yeast-like fungi (Candida albicans). Just used 35 microbial cultures.

After this suspension cultures were concentrated by centrifugation and were standardized density. Further, when using decodifying method standardized suspensions were seeded lawn to plates with nutrient agar. Then sprayed on the surface of the agar discs with antimicrobial drugs. The results were evaluated according to the presence (or absence) of the difference in the diameters of zones of inhibition of growth in experience and control.

As study drugs were used: for gram-negative bacteria - Ampioks, Cefotaxime (claforan), Gentamicin, Polymyxin M and Ciprofloxacin; for gram - Ampioks, Cefotaxime (claforan is), Gentamicin, Lincomycin and Ciprofloxacin. Yeast-like fungi were investigated for their sensitivity to Ketoconazole (nizoral), Fluconazole (diflucan), Itraconazole (Orungal), Natamycin (pimafucin) and Clotrimazole.

Statistical processing of the obtained data with regard to their features (pairs of values “experience” and “control”) is performed using a matching criterion of Wilcoxon signed and paired student's criterion with the aid of computer programs it includes.

This method provides enhancing the sensitivity and precision in carrying out the quantitative evaluation of anti-lactoferrin activity in broad spectrum of microorganisms that is urgent in diagnosis and prognosis of diseases with bacterial etiology. Invention can be used in determination of persistent indices of microorganisms for assay of their etiological significance in pathological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method involves sampling of specimen from environment and addition of bacteriophage to sample that is able to multiplicate in analyzed microorganism. Inoculate is kept for a definite time and then bacteriophage titer is determined. The presence of microorganism is proved by increase the bacteriophage titer value measuring by degree of light diffusion in sample. SUBSTANCE: method for preparing liquid lactobacterin involves regeneration, culturing passages of lyophilized culture and culturing ferment of lactobacilli in liquid lyophilized nutrient medium containing dry defatted milk enzymatic hydrolyzate with the content of amine nitrogen 1 485 mg%, 30.0 ± 3.0 g/l; yeast concentrated autolyzate, 110.0 ± 10 g/l; food agar, 0.8 g/l, and distilled water, up to 1 l.
