The present invention relates to the field of measurements of railway track and can be used for measurements of parameters of the railway track. Apply track template as a portable instrument track foreman and the foreman of the construction and maintenance of railway track.

Known [1, 2] measuring wear of rails, consisting of two mutually perpendicular calipers, one of which measures the side, and the other vertical wear of the rail. In this application the invention was made an experimental batch of travel patterns and confirmed by their performance in the natural environment of the South Ural railway.
