As such compounds are widely known inorganic salts such as the chlorides of sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, potassium, sodium, ammonium, nitrates of alkali metals, and organic compounds such as low molecular weight alcohols, glycols, glycerin, carboxylates.
However, organic compounds due to their Flammability, toxicity and high cost have not found an effective and economic use.
It is known that due to its low price, the most applicable inorganic salts include chlorides of sodium, calcium and magnesium. The composition can reduce the formation of snow and ice on roads, bridges, runways and other exterior surfaces, but is ineffective at low temperatures.
