Front wheel 7 is secured by fork 16 and main steering column 17 which is connected with auxiliary steering column 18 and handlebar 19 by means of steering rods 20, 21. Foot drive 23 is coupled with right-hand rear wheel 8 through idler sprockets and chain drives. When necessary, transmission of torque to left-hand rear wheel can be provided.

SUBSTANCE: proposed folding sidecar contains bicycle 1 and sidecar 2 consisting of seat 3 with backrest rake adjuster 4, seat fastening brackets 5, 6, 7, 8 luggage carrier 9 installed on T-shaped tubular frame 10 on which wheel 11 and with mudguard 12 is fastened. Sidecar 2 is furnished with pedal drive 14. Tubular 10 consists of two interconnected parts and unit fastening sidecar 2 to bicycle 1. First part of frame includes tube with U-shaped bracket made to provide folding of frame 10. Second part of frame includes tubes 29, 30, 31 used to fasten wheel 11, and connecting tubes used to attach sidecar 2 to bicycle 1 by means of locks 35.
