A method of producing a sorbent
The invention relates to environmentally friendly and energy-efficient ways of modifying natural sorbents for the purification of aqueous solutions of impurities of heavy metals. Natural sorbent-based porous diatomaceous earth or silica clay after crushing subjected to single-stage heat treatment surface modification of the products of combustion waste agricultural straw. The method allows to obtain the sorbent using waste for the simple technology.
The invention relates to a process for the production of sorbents based on porous natural materials (flasks and other) and can be used for drinking water treatment, electroplating wastes and other aqueous solution from impurities of heavy metals, petroleum products, and other compounds.
The known method schistki waste from all of lead ions on the sorbent obtained by annealing the natural mineral flasks Saratov field at a temperature of 300-700°C. the Application of the above temperatures for processing the mold box associated with high energy costs and requires special equipment (RF patent No. 2075444, CL 02 F 1/28, 1/62,published YH natural materials by crushing the raw materials, followed by heat treatment after inoculation with a solution of alkali or soda (RF patent 2141374 C1, MKI 01 J 20/10, 20/16, publ. 20.11.99). However, in this case the production of the sorbent is also associated with high energy costs. The heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 1000-1250°C for translation clay components in the "crock".
The aim of the present invention is to simplify the method of modified sorbent with the reduction of energy consumption for its production using recycled materials.
This goal is achieved through the application for modification nature of the sorbent waste agriculture - straw. Combustion of the mixture of straw with crushed porous natural material has a double effect is the modification of the surface of sorbent products of combustion with simultaneous calcination without additional energy consumption.
Example 1. Sorption column with a diameter of 50 mm and a height of 250 mm is filled with mold fraction of 2-3 mm, modified combustion of straw with a volumetric ratio of 1:10. Cleaning is subjected to the water content of the cation of heavy metal (Nickel, zinc, copper, lead, cadmium) with a concentration of 3.0 mg/l at a filtration rate of 100 ml/h When the concentration of the cation of the metal in the treated water greater than the value of MPC, the process pru, obtained by burning straw with a volumetric ratio of 1:20. The volume of the purified solution was 10.0 HP
Example 3. Miss the same solution through the mold, a modified combustion of straw with a volumetric ratio of 1:30. The amount of purified solution amounted to 9.0 liters
From these examples it follows that found an effective way of obtaining modified sorbent from cheap natural raw materials without additional energy costs at one stage.
The resulting sorbent can be repeatedly regenerated without losing the original sorption capacity with repeated use of the eluate and purified water in a closed loop.
A method of producing a sorbent for the purification of solutions of heavy metals, including fragmentation of diatomaceous earth or silica clay with subsequent modification and heat treatment, characterized in that the modification and heat treatment are carried out in one stage by burning a mixture of natural sorbent and straw with a volumetric ratio of 1:20.
