The technical field
The present invention relates to compositions auxiliary means for Ironing, which is suitable for direct filling into the water reservoir of a steam iron in which the composition evaporates and exits through perevypusku holes of the iron. The invention also concerns the preparation method of the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing and concentrate compositions auxiliary means for Ironing, which is necessary after dilution gives the ready to use composition where the Yes you want the product, which can be directly filled into the chamber of a steam iron and efficiently transfer the flavor otlazhivaemomu clothes (linen). Such products usually are water-based. However, a significant majority of the flavoring components are substantially insoluble in water and therefore to create an isotropic solution (or microemulsion) need additional solubilizer. For example, in DE 29600626 disclosed composition with oil flavouring substances which are difficultly soluble or not soluble at all.
The usual way solubilize the fragrance into the water consists in the introduction of surfactant-emulsifier, typical examples of which are anionic, cationic, amphoteric, zwitterionic and especially nonionic surfactants, of which the most common are the ethoxylates of alcohols. Currently, in many marketed products used exactly this method to solubilize flavoring and achieving a certain level of aromatization. For example, in GB 2333302 describes the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing with nonionic surfactants for dispersion of hydrophobic flavoring.
However, conducted by the inventor of the tests showed that the known products, pregnenalone temperatures, exposed to the composition. The temperature inside the steam chamber of a steam iron can normally vary from 150 to 270°and for iron, configured for Ironing cotton fabrics, typically about 200°C.
Were created composition consisting of demineralized water and 0.40 wt.% following conventional nonionic surfactants: CremophorTMWITH 40 (BASF - utverjdenie castor oil, ethoxylated up to 40 EO), SoftanolTM90 (Ineos is a mixture of secondary13-C14-alcohols, ethoxylated to 9 EO), NeodolTM25-9 (Shell is a mixture of primary C13-C15-alcohols, ethoxylated to 9 EO), LialTM111 10 EA (Condea - C11-alcohol, ethoxylated 10 EA), GenapolTM200 (Clariant - coconut alcohol ethoxylated to 20 EO). These compositions are dosed loaded into steam irons, which are then used for Ironing Terry hand towel. When using all of these songs appeared smell of pigarelli, which is unacceptable for a product intended for perfuming linen in the Ironing process.
In another test in steam chambers irons Philips Mistral H1 312 were tested following songs:
(i) only demineralized water;
(ii) 0, is WITH 40, the rest is demineralized water.
Irons every day was filled with an appropriate composition within 10 days and subjected to Ironing pillowcases made of 100% cotton on one side only up until the entire quantity of the loaded product was not released in the form of steam. The same pillowcases were ironed using each composition operation from the 1st to the 5th, then used another pillowcase for operations with the 6th through the 10th. After testing the inner part of the irons was studied on the subject of balance.
When compared with clean demineralized water composition containing NipacideTMor CremophorTMleft brown stains on the pillow cases and led to the release of iron particles. Even more noticeable it became after about 6 operations. The use of compositions containing CremophorTMled to pricing in the steam separation and cracking of iron during the entire testing period.
After disassembly of the irons have observed that in the irons, which were compositions containing either NipacideTMor CremophorTMremained unacceptable residues, which was more than the iron, filled with demineralized water.
Atheir as ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, dipropyleneglycol, monobutyl ether of diethylene glycol and monobutyl broadcast dipropyleneglycol.
However, in order to a satisfactory degree to dissolve a sufficient amount of traditional flavors, require large quantities of these solvents. While this may involve some risk to the health of Gladilina because it exceeded the Limits of Occupational Exposure (CEA), to a significant fire hazard solvent with fire, or to the occurrence of adverse reactions between the solvent and iron. In addition, the smell of a composition comprising such a large amount of solvent can beat the smell of fragrance, nullifying the purpose of the product.
Disclosure of beings inventions
The aim of the present invention is to propose an improved composition AIDS for Ironing. In the present work, the inventors discovered that one or more of the currently existing problems can be resolved by using water soluble flavoring, which can reduce the need for additional solubilizer such as surfactants described above.
(a) from 0.001 to 5 wt.% water-soluble flavoring and
(b) water, characterized by the rigidity of the French system 20 or below.
In most cases it is preferable to have 2, 1, 0.5, or most preferably 0.25 wt.% water soluble flavoring. The composition may contain any additional ingredients with a balancing amount of water, as described below.
The solubility determined by mixing a water-soluble flavoring with 1 l of demineralized water at 20°C and producing stirring the mixture for 60 min at 300 rpm using a standard blade mixer. The resulting mixture was stored for 7 days at 20°C and, if after this period the mixture consists of two phases, the flavor is not water soluble. In accordance with this test should dissolve at least 0.01 wt.% flavoring. Preferably, in these conditions, dissolved not less 0,05, 0,1, 0,25, 0,5, 1, 3 or even 5 wt.% flavoring.
In one of the preferred embodiments of the invention water soluble flavoring agents according to the invention contain a water-soluble solvent and ingredients and orky flavor was soluble in accordance with the test described above at least in such numbers, in which it is contained in the composition, or even higher concentrations.
As for the solvent in the flavor, the advantage of his presence is that it can expand the range of components, creating the possibility to use different connections when creating improved compositions auxiliary means for Ironing with more complex aromas that are more preferred for the consumer. When using water-soluble flavoring according to the invention for the stabilization of the flavoring ingredients in the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing may be used less solvent.
Thus, in accordance with one aspect of the invention the weight ratio of solvent to the flavoring ingredients in the water-soluble flavor is mostly not more than 20:1 and more preferably 10:1, 6:1, 3:1 or 1:1. Some water soluble flavors this ratio can reach 1:1 or even 1:3 or 1:4.
Suitable water-soluble solvents include dipropyleneglycol, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol (IPA), ethanol, and mixtures thereof. Of these the most preferred dipropyleneglycol.
s, Steffan Arctander (ISDN 75-91398). The solubility of the individual ingredients of the flavoring in the water can be represented as the calculated distribution coefficient (ClogP) ingredient between distilled water and octanol at 20°C. the lower the value of ClogP, the more water-soluble ingredient. For example, raspberry ketone has a ClogP=1,072 and very soluble in water, while pink acetate has a ClogP=4,048 and not easily soluble in water. The ClogP values are most conveniently calculated by the program "CLOGP" available in Daylight CIS.
Water soluble flavoring agents of the present invention mainly contains at least 5 different flavoring ingredients, preferably at least 7, 10, 12, and most preferably 15 different flavoring ingredients. A number of different components of the fragrance are usually required in order to provide “comprehensive” aroma, suitable for use in modern products for laundries.
Thus, flavouring ingredients water soluble flavoring will, apparently, be a set of values of ClogP. For flavoring with a higher proportion of components having high values of ClogP need more visingredienten, with high values of ClogP. So, for flavoring with less than 5 wt.% the content of aromatic ingredients that have a ClogP value above 3, the ratio of solvent to aromatic ingredients is 1:1 or 1:2. On the contrary, for flavoring, in which at least 20 wt.% flavoring ingredients have ClogP values above 3, the ratio of solvent to aromatic ingredients is 5:1 or 7:1. The water hardness according to the invention was calculated according to the French system, in which 1 unit of hardness corresponds to 10 ppm or 0.001 wt.% of calcium carbonate.
Water compositions according to the invention should possess the rigidity of the French system 20 or less, preferably 12 or less. Water with hardness on the French system from 12 to 30 usually called a secondary water, and water with hardness on the French system from 5 to 12 soft water. Even more preferably, the water composition had a hardness on the French system below 5 (sometimes this water is called the water is very soft), and the most preferred demineralized water.
“Demineralized water” means water from which removed most or almost all of the dissolved salts. In is not preferred. The term “demineralized water” also includes distilled water.
Preferably, the composition is comprised of at least 70 wt.% and more preferably 80, 90, 95 or 99 wt.% water.
The composition of auxiliary means for Ironing the present invention may also contain from 0.1 h/million (mg/l) up to 3 wt.% preferably water-soluble preservative.
Preferably, the preservative was not provided or was not decomposed to chemical substances potentially hazardous for Gladilina when the operating temperature of the steam iron, i.e. mainly 150, 200 or even 250°C. guidelines for the safe limits of the given Occupational Exposure Limits, which can be found in OHSE and listed in EH 40, available in HMSO (the office for publication of documents).
Many well-known preservatives such as BronopolTM(Myacide), DowicillTM75 or 200, GermabenTM, GermallTMI 15, GermallTMII, GlycacilTM, GlydantTM, GlydantTMplus, OxabanTMAnd SuttocideTMwhen the operating temperature of the steam iron can highlight or decompose to harmful or irritating chemicals (e.g. formaldehyde) or ostich for effective conservation against the growth of bacteria and mold, kill the smells of water-soluble flavors.
If you want to include in the composition a preservative, other than the above, it should not contain more 0.5 wt.%, more preferably the content in amounts up to 0.1, to 0.001, and 0.0001 wt.% and, most preferably up to 1 hour/million (mg/l).
In one of the preferred embodiments of the invention the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing contains at least one preservative selected for their aromatic, linear or branched aliphatic C1-C20-alcohols or mixtures thereof, which may be contained in amounts of from 0.1 ppm (mg/l) up to 2 wt.% or preferably from 0.5 h/million up to 1 wt.%. Preferably, at least one preservative was selected from benzyl alcohol (phenylmethanol), Phenoxyethanol, and mixtures thereof. Of these preservatives more preferred is benzyl alcohol. If you are using benzyl alcohol, preferably so that he possessed a high degree of purity in order to minimize the presence of benzaldehyde - known pollutant, a significant lack of which in the composition of the invention preferably. In other words, preferably, with the Chairman tools for Ironing.
In yet another embodiment of the invention the preferred preservative contains at least one compound based on isothiazolone, such as KathonTMCG ICP II (supplied by Rohm and Haas) is a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-3(2H)-isothiazolone and 2-methyl-3(2H)-isothiazolone (3:1) with low salt content, which can be contained in an amount of from 1 to 15 hours per million (mg/l), more preferably from 4 to 7.5 h/million
The solubility of the preservative can be measured as well as the solubility of water-soluble flavouring, and in accordance with the above test should dissolve at least 0.01 wt.% and more preferably 0,05, 0,1, 0,2, 0,25, 0,5, 1 or 3 wt.% water-soluble preservative. In the alternative case, it is preferable that a water-soluble preservative was soluble in accordance with the named test in at least the amount that is included in the composition, and even at higher concentration.
Introduction in the composition according to the invention the preservative may not be necessary, if for preparation of the composition can be applied to good production technology and will thus avoid product contamination by bacteria and fungi.
Suitable buffers may include a carbonate/bicarbonate, borate and phosphate salts.
The Complexing Agents
Compositions of the present invention may include complexing agents and antiscale agents in quantities from 0.0001, preferably of 0.001 to 0.1 or 1, or even 3 wt.% to prevent the deposition of lime scale and other undesirable salts in the steam chamber of the iron.
The complexing agents are compounds that form complexes (chelates) with metal ions and include, in particular, phosphonic or carboxylic functions, while antiscale agents intervene in the process of scale formation. The complexing agents and antiscale agents that are suitable for use in the present invention should preferably be non-aggressive, with whom are in particular, organotitanate acid, such as DequestTM2016 (HEDP; 1-hydroxyethylene-1,1-diphosphonic acid), organobentonite, such as DequestTM2047 (EDTMP) and polyaminocarboxylic acids, such as EDTA.
Antiscale agents are, in particular, organic polymers containing acrylic acid, such as copolymers of acrylic acid with maleic anhydride (for example, SokolanTMCP5 BASF and NarlexTMLD20 company National Starch), salt, polyacrylic acid and homopolymers of acrylic acid.
The auxiliary solvent
Usually the composition of the auxiliary means for Ironing in accordance with one aspect of the invention is prepared by mixing a water-soluble flavoring with water having a hardness on the French system 20 or below. In most cases water-soluble flavouring contains water-soluble flavouring ingredients and a solvent. In addition, the invention can be included auxiliary solvent in an amount of from 0.01 to 5 or perhaps 20 wt.%, preferably from 0.1 to 5 or 10 wt.% and most preferably from 0.2 to 1 or 2 wt.%.
Suitable auxiliary solvents are, cha is her preferred of them is dipropyleneglycol. We found that dipropyleneglycol may be particularly useful in Ironing process as a moisturizer for easier Ironing. Thus, another aspect of the invention is used in the Ironing process effective amount of dipropyleneglycol. The composition of auxiliary means for Ironing, comprising an effective amount of dipropyleneglycol, can be applied either directly on the items of Laundry process before Ironing, or it may be applied through a steam chamber of a steam iron. In accordance with this aspect of the invention, the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing includes:
(a) an effective amount of dipropyleneglycol, preferably up to 25 wt.% inclusive, preferably 15, 10, 5 or even 2 or 3 wt.%. The lower limit of the total content of dipropyleneglycol can reach up to 0.001 wt.% or may be equal to 0.01, 0.1 or 1 wt.%;
(b) from 0.001 to 5 wt.% mainly water-soluble flavoring ingredient; and
(c) water hardness according to the French system of 20 or below.
The number of ethanol and/or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) in the composition is predominantly less than 5 wt.%.
The total content is e, can thus reach about 25 wt.%, inclusive, preferably 15, 10, 5 or even 3 wt.%. The lower limit of the total content of the solvent can reach up to 0.001 wt.% or may be equal to 0.01, 0.1 or 1 wt.%. As for the specialist is obvious that no matter whether to add the solvent as part of the flavoring or separately from the flavor, the term "water-soluble flavouring" is interpreted mainly as water-soluble ingredients of the flavoring. Thus, the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing mainly contains from 0.001 to 5 wt.% water-soluble ingredients, flavoring and water, having a hardness on the French system of 20 or lower, and the total amount of solvent ranges from 0.001 to 25 wt.% from the whole composition. For example, in the test for solubility of the term "water-soluble flavor" refers to the mixture of flavoring ingredients and the total quantity of solvent contained in the flavoring, and any additional solvent.
Surfactants are compounds having a hydrophilic head and a hydrophobic tail, which contains at least 8 carbon atoms, and may be AB have hydrophilic heads carboxylate, sulphate, sulphonate or phosphate group, while their hydrophobic chain contains an alkyl group with at least 8 carbon atoms, possibly in combination with the aryl group.
Cationic surfactants have a hydrophilic head group with a Quaternary nitrogen, while their hydrophobic chain contains one or more alkyl groups with at least 8 carbon atoms.
Nonionic surfactants are the reaction product having an active hydrogen hydrophobic group with alkalization, usually ethylene oxide. The hydrophobic group will contain at least 8 carbon atoms and is typically the primary or secondary alcohol.
Amphoteric surfactants or may have a carboxylate or sulfate group as head, or are aminoxide and contain alkyl chains having at least 8 carbon atoms.
Preferably, the compositions of the present invention contains less than 0.2 wt.% these surfactants, preferably less than 0.1, to 0.05, 0.01, 0.001 in wt.% and most preferably less than 1 ppm of these surfactants. It should be borne in mind that the expression “less” includes in this case also, and 0 wt.% Surfactants. Indeed, in some cases it may be preferable autoremove flavoring and water hardness on the French system of 20 or below, and also from any of the possible above-described components.
Preferably, the complete composition was stable when stored at 20°C, i.e. that it was not stratified into two phases during prolonged storage (preferably not less than 1 month). Preferably also, to complete the composition was stable when stored at temperatures between 5 and 37°C.
The composition of auxiliary means for Ironing can be prepared in several well-known specialists of ways. However, in the present work, we have found an improved method of preparation of the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing. One advantage is that a relatively high concentration of flavor can be put into aqueous media with minimal bacterial contamination. Therefore, another aspect of the present invention is to offer an improved method of preparation of the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing, comprising a stage of mixing the flavor with water having a hardness on the French system of 20 or below, at a temperature of from 10 to 95°C, preferably from 60 to 90°C and most preferably from 70 to 85 is osobov water soluble flavoring includes a water-soluble solvent and flavoring ingredients, moreover, the weight ratio of water-soluble solvent for the ingredients of the flavoring is not more than 20:1.
Mixing can be performed at low shear rate over a relatively long period of time, for example 30 minutes at from about 100 to 4000 with-1using, for example, a static mixer of Sulzer (type SMV). However, it may be preferable to use a higher shear rate, for example a dynamic mill Silverson (45/600 ULS) with a shear rate of 180 000-1with the aim to minimize the required mixing time. Most preferred is a method in which the first stage with a low shear rate from 100 to 4000 with-1combined with the second stage with a high shear rate from 50 000 to 300 000-1especially in the case of a continuous process for the preparation of compositions auxiliary means for Ironing.
The composition of auxiliary means for Ironing can be packaged using any conventional means, such as vials or bags made of traditional materials. However, it is preferable that in the case where the composition is packaged in a bottle, the material of kootrade loss of flavor from the product during storage and is transparent. Glass is the preferred packaging material.
It is preferable that the bottle had a filling spout to facilitate pouring of the product in the domestic steam iron. Preferably, the filler neck had a through drain for passage of the liquid composition from the bottle, the annular drip tray, covering the end-to-end drain, and the drain hole that allows fluid to pass inside the bottle.
Another aspect of the invention relates to the concentrate, which upon dilution with water, preferably having a hardness on the French system of 20 or below, provides a composition for Ironing corresponding to the present invention. The dilution should be low such that 1 wt.h. the concentrate was diluted to 0.5-100, preferably 1-10 and most preferably 2-5 wt.h. water. The exact composition of the concentrate can be easily calculated with respect to the desired final concentration in the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing and dilution factor. For example, if the final concentration of flavor in the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing should be from 3.0 to 5.0 wt.%, the dilution ratio will be limited to for example 100, the diluted composition AIDS for Ironing will be necessary to include a lower maximum levels of flavor, i.e., theoretically at most 1 wt.% flavoring. In most cases it is preferable to have layers of flavor in the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing to 0.5 wt.%.
The concentrate also can be diluted with water having a hardness on the French system of higher than 20, with the formation of the composition of the first aspect of the invention, if only not to be used in hard water. In this case, the concentrate preferably the presence of complexing agents and/or anti-scale agents.
Thus, the invention provides a concentrate composition AIDS for Ironing containing the above-defined water-soluble flavouring, for use in the steam chamber of a steam iron after dilution with water.
If the concentrate contains no water, the need for preservative is reduced or even eliminated. Therefore, in one of the preferred variants of the invention, the concentrate contains no water, no preservatives.
If you want a more diluted Oronogo flavoring concentrate. The auxiliary solvent may also be required in the case when the concentrate is enabled as defined above additional components.
So, if the amount of water in the concentrate is half its quantity in the final product, additional solvent may be required in the amount of from 20 to 30 wt.%.
In accordance with one aspect of the invention proposes a method of use of the concentrate compositions auxiliary means for Ironing, including the state of dilution of the concentrate with the formation of the composition of auxiliary means for Ironing, containing from 0.001 to 5 wt.% water-soluble flavoring and water, having a hardness on the French system 20 or below.
Excluding examples and those cases where otherwise noted, it should be borne in mind that all used in the present work the numbers related to the quantities of ingredients or reaction conditions can be modified by the term “approximately”. Similarly all concentrations, unless otherwise stated, expressed in % of the total weight of the composition. When used in the description and the claims the term “including” is not intended to exclude any perechislennye not limiting its scope examples showing some preferred embodiments of the invention.
