The invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthodontic dentistry, namely, devices for compression of the lower jaw. Device for compression of the lower jaw contains the supporting elements, the locking element and the elastic elements. The locking element installed on the front teeth, made in the form of two metal crowns, which are interconnected metal beams with vestibular and oral sides, and the elastic elements are in the form of pre-razvenchany on the required value of two orthodontic expansion screws with two guides. Each of the orthodontic expansion screws connected to metal crowns fixing and supporting elements. On one of the rails of each of the orthodontic expansion screw caused risks increments of 0.5 mm as a result of increased structural strength of the device is ensured by the stability of the anterior fragment of the lower jaw, increases work efficiency. 1 Il.

One of the problems orthodontics is the exact preterist in the treatment of anomalies of dentition.

The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is an orthodontic device used to move the fragment of the lower jaw at macrognathia lower jaw compression method (USSR Author's certificate No. 1410967, MKI 4 And 61 With 7/00, published in Gazette No. 27 for 1988).

The known device includes a support element on the molars with the guide sleeve and placed them with the possibility of longitudinal movement of the threaded rods and nuts, and also contains added support element on the cutters in the form of a plastic mouthguard with a metal frame, pivotally connected to a threaded rod.

Without diminishing the advantages of the known orthodontic device, taken as a prototype, we note the following disadvantages:

- there is a possibility of occurrence of unregulated, spontaneous displacement of the anterior fragment of the lower jaw distal;

- the location of the activatable element in the last molars of the mandible leads to inconvenience in the process of activation of the orthodontic device;

- low strength characteristics of the support element on the cutters because the device run out of diverse materials: plastic and I increase the structural strength of the device, the sustainability of the anterior fragment of the lower jaw, the efficiency of this device.

The technical result is achieved in that the device for compression of the lower jaw, containing the supporting elements, the locking element and the elastic elements, therein locking element mounted on the front teeth, made in the form of two metal crowns, interconnected metal beams with vestibular and oral sides, and the elastic elements are in the form of pre-razvenchany on the required value of two orthodontic expansion screws with two guides, each of orthodontic expansion screws connected to metal crowns fixing and supporting elements, on one of the rails of each of the orthodontic screw caused risks increments of 0.5 mm

Device for compression of the lower jaw consists of a base 1 (see drawing) elements, locking 2 element and the tightening element 3. The proposed device for compression of the lower jaw can be successfully applied in the treatment of excessive development of the lower jaw, unilateral and bilateral, symmetric and asymmetric.

Spent an analysis of the prior art, including searching by the patent and scientific and technical information sources and identify sources that contain information about the equivalents of the claimed invention, has allowed to establish that the petitioners have not found a similar, characterized by signs, identical to all the essential features of the claimed invention.

The definition of a list of the closest analogues of the technical solution (prototype) has identified a set of essential in relation to perceived technical result of the distinctive features of the claimed device for compression of the lower jaw set forth in the claims.

Therefore, the claimed invention meets the criterion of “novelty”.

To check the compliance of the claimed invention, the criterion of “inventive step” applicants conducted an additional search of the known solutions, which revealed no signs of, match the distinctive features of Paulista explicitly known from the prior art, certain applicants.

Therefore, the claimed invention meets the criterion of “inventive step”.

The criteria of the invention “industrial applicability” is confirmed by the fact that the proposed device for compression of the lower jaw can be successful, with great efficiency used in dental clinics of Russia and CIS.

SUBSTANCE: method involves opening palatine suture to normal palate shape with slight width hypercorrection of superior dentoalveolar arch. Device having cap covering parietooccipital area, rubber braces, facial arch composed of intraoral arch and two lateral extraoral parts. Intraoral arch ends are fixed on the sixth maxillary teeth. The device is applied for acting with forth directed upwards and backwards towards the crown of head. A force is applied to the sixth maxillary teeth arranged symmetrically relative to the palatine suture. Force of 300 to 400 g is applied to each side of the maxilla for 12-14 h per day to reach occlusion normalization in sagittal and vertical plane.

Projecting spongious bone tissue is withdrawn above the tooth crown, between the crown, roots and cortical plate from external and lingual surface with the exception of inferior surface. The tooth is extracted. The bone cavity is filled with Colapola KP sponge and 1-2 Alvostasa sponges. 1-2 apposition catgut sutures are placed. Each end of the first arc is fixed in the base plate between the canine tooth position and the first premolar position. Each end of the second arc is fixed between the first premolar position and the first molar position. Arc tops are joined with the base plate. The base plate has hard palate topography and is manufactured from flexible plastic. Supporting-and-holding cramp iron members are mounted on distal part of the base plate.
