The welding unit

 

The invention relates to butt welding, in particular the welding unit, and can be used for laying track and repair the rail. Welding machine consists of a control unit (7) and the two halves of the unit (5, 6), made with the possibility of moving using a crimping cylinder (9) in the longitudinal direction of the rails and having a pair of clamping pads (10), is arranged to move toward each other to clamp the cylinder (13) with the oscillatory motion (12). Clamping jaws arranged to move toward each other to clamp the cylinder (13) of the landing position suitable for insertion of the rail head (15) in position for welding (16), when the clamping jaws (10) adjacent to the necks (17) both rails (2) to perform welding. Such welding units for so-called mobile butt welding process is already known from many publications, for example from patent US 3349216, EP 0132227 B1 or GB 2185703 A.

In the patent EP 0253634 A2 describes the use of sensitive elements, which are integrated in the clamping site or clamping jaws of the welding unit and which determines, whether to be joining the ends of the rails exactly horizontally and vertically relative to each other, and the correction of possible deviations can be performed automatically using signals.

The objective of the proposed invention is, therefore, the creation of welding is shown.

According to the invention this task is solved by means of the welding unit of the specified type for the account that is provided by the indicator device for recording the exact position of the clamping pads defined on the end of the oscillatory movement and fit the clamping pads to the neck rails made for the signal control necessary for conducting the welding process.

By doing this indicator device, you can simple and affordable way to control whether the clamping jaws adjacent to the neck rails closely with the closure of the geometrical contour before transfer rails using a crimping cylinder of relatively large upsetting and tensile stress. Thanks to the mere application of pressure when the clamp or overseeing such a reliable landing is still not guaranteed, as this pressure is, and when between the clamping block and the railhead is, for example, a metal barrier. Thanks depending on the control signal, providing a precise fit clamping pads, reliably excludes any damage to the head rail, resulting from misalignment of the pads relative to the rails.

In Fig.1 you can see the welding unit 1, which is provided for electrical contact welding adjacent rails 2 path 3. The welding unit 1 is located on strelba the valve 4 to the railway vehicle (not represented here) can be moved in height in side and consists of two halves 5, 6, and a control unit 7 that is located on this vehicle. The latter is connected, moreover, with generator 8 for power supply unit. Both halves of the unit 5 and 6 spaced between each other in the longitudinal direction of the rails and connected by means of a hydraulic cylinder tube, passing in the longitudinal direction of rails and configured to move relative to each other.

In Fig.3 shows the welding unit 1 in position welding 16 defined at the end of the oscillation 12 in the plane of rotation of the gripper pads 10. For registration of such exact position of the gripper pads 10 provided by the indicator device 18, which in this embodiment is a limit switch 19 that is associated with the clamping cylinder 13. Limit switch 19 is set so that it only sends a signal when the piston 20 of the clamping cylinder 13 is completely contained in the cylinder to a position, which corresponds to the position of the gripper pads 10, adjacent to the neck rail 17 with the circuit geometrical contour. Only after receipt of a control signal s unit 5, 6 are moved toward each other with the ends of the rails.

Therefore reliably eliminates the risk of damage to the welding unit 1. This occurs, in particular, when despite the distortion of the welding unit 1 receives a very large tractive effort to move toward each other the ends of the rails. In practice, for example, it is expedient in the hydraulic system first apply a low pressure of 80 bar, for which reliability is improved only with flow control signal to a final working pressure of 120 bar.

In Fig.4 shows another variant of the indicator device 18, which is made in the form of pulse elements 21, built-in clamping jaws 10. These switching elements 21 are made in order to register the position of the gripper pads 10 with respect to the neck of the rail 17 and when reaching the correct position when the clamp to transmit the control signal, which indicates the beginning of the welding process.

In the framework of the invention can take numerous other forms of execution of the indicator device 18. So, for example, as an indicator device to provide an inductive displacement sensors, which can detect a movement of the contact pads 10 on the other signal control in the correct position. The distance between the contact pads 10 and neck rail can be registered by means of the indicator device in the form of contactless rangefinder. Can also be represented by the indicator device in the form of a photovoltaic device that uses the principle of interruption of the light flux at the correct position of the contact pads 10, and thereby causing the control signal to start the welding process.

1. The welding unit to perform mobile electric butt welding of railway track, comprising a control unit and the two halves of the unit executed with the ability to move using a crimping cylinder in the longitudinal direction of the rails and having odney oscillation in the plane of rotation, and with clamp cylinder is arranged to move toward each other from the landing position suitable for insertion of the head rail in position for welding, when the clamping jaws adjacent to the necks of both rails for welding, characterized in that is provided by the indicator device for recording the exact position of the clamping pads for welding, defined at the end of the oscillatory movement and fit the clamping pads to the neck rails made for the signal control necessary for conducting the welding process.
