Machine for financial transactions

The invention relates to machines or ATMs for financial transactions. ATM (10) contains mechanisms (34, 36, 38, 40) for granting leaves. Each mechanism of delivery of the sheets contains a gripping element (72). Gripping element rotates, and with each rotation, in essence, leads to the capture of a single sheet from the stack (42) sheets. Gripping element contains movable siteplease part resting on the arcuate segments. Siteplease parts are moved radially outward for the application of additional effort to move the latest bill, limiting the stack, in response to the movement of the gripping element that is larger than the last move of the banknote. The sheets in the machine are carried by means of transportation (54), which contains several branches of tape. The sheets are transferred between branches tape and exposed elements. At least one of the branches of the tape contains on its surface engagement of the sheet several protrusions separated from each other by longitudinal interval. The tabs provide a better engagement of the leaves moving in the means of transportation, allowing more reliable moving leaves. It provides printing touch PE users with visual disabilities. 6 N. and 51 C.p. f-crystals, 17 ill.

The invention relates to machines financial transactions. More specifically, the present invention relates to a machine for financial transactions, containing the mechanism for issuing banknotes and means of transportation of the sheets.

The transaction machines include banking machines. Conventional banking machine is an ATM. ATMs can be used to perform financial transactions, such as cash, deposits, creating queries, account balance, pay invoices and transfer funds between accounts. These and other types of ATMs can be used to issue documents, for example, tickets, time of receipt of acceptance of contributions, receipts, checks, gaming materials, receipts or other documents. While many types of banking machines, including ATMs operated by consumers, other banking machines may be operated by service providers. These ATMs can be used by service providers to provide cash, or other types of sheets or documents when performing financial transactions for consumers. In order R is Novye operations including the enumeration values.

Popular brand banking machine is made by the company Diebold, the assignee of the present invention. Such ATMs are made with the possibility of electoral issue leaves the users of the machine. The mechanism of delivery of the sheets used in such machines, includes a gripping mechanism that delivers or "exciting" leaves, mostly one at a time from a stack of sheets, which is stored inside the machine. The sheets are transported through one or more means of transportation inside the machine and eventually delivered to the user. The gripping mechanism used in some ATMs Diebold described in U.S. patent No. 5577720. The gripping mechanism includes a rotating gripper element containing multiple cylindrical parts along the shaft. Each cylindrical part contains the segment strong friction along some part of a circle. The size and location of the segments in a strong friction are such that at each rotation of the gripping element of the last banknote restricting the end of the pile, became available intermittent segment strong friction. As a result of this the availability of the latest banknote is removed from stilisticheskih parts of the gripping element in the direction of rotation of the gripping element relative to the stack when the choice of notes, there are several elements removal. Element removal is essentially in adjunction with respect to each of the cylindrical parts of the gripping element. Each element removal, essentially, round and does not rotate with the rotation of the gripping element in the direction of the capture of the banknote. Item removal, in essence, operates to prevent denesting all bills, except the last, when the rotation of the gripping element. Item disassembly functions to prevent removal from the stack, essentially, all bills, except the last, because the force applied gripping element directly to the final bill exceeds the drag force exerted to the last bill the item disassembly. However, the drag force element disassembly, which acts on other bills in the stack, except the last banknotes, in essence, prevents their removal from the stack, since these banknotes are not directly geared gripping element.

In the example implementation of the gripping mechanism of action of each of the elements of the removal is provided through a one way clutch mechanisms. These mechanisms onestorm removal when moving the gripping element to grip the banknote. However, the one-way clutch in connection with each item removal allows it to rotate in the direction opposite to the direction in which the element removal forcibly moved during capture. This is useful in situations where the detector dual sheets determines that past item removal has moved more than one banknote. In such circumstances, the controller operating the banking machine may operate to bring the gripping element into rotation in the opposite direction, which is opposite to the direction in which the gripping element is moved usually during capture of the banknote. When moving the gripping element in the opposite direction the item is rotated and thus facilitates the movement several pages back in the stack. When multiple sheets are returned to the stack and are outside the element removal, the controller may determine to re-attempt the capture mechanism to capture a single bill from the stack.

In many existing automated teller machines, manufactured by the assignee of the present invention, the banknote captured from the unit of issue, are moved by means of transportation, type callelinea and transversely spaced branches, which move the banknote which engages with them. Between each adjacent pairs of branches tape is protruding element. The protruding element essentially extends at least to the level of saralaya the sheet surfaces of adjacent branches of the tape. As a result, the sheet is clamped between the protruding elements and branch tape. Through this clip leaves they move together with the moving branches of the tape in the selected location in the machine. For example, according to the invention, included in the description of the present invention, sheets, geared branch tapes are moved to the stack. When the stack of sheets accumulated, its hook on the branches of the tape to move it for presentation to the user of the machine.

The described mechanism of issuance of the sheets and means of transportation are highly reliable and widely used in ATMs. However, the capture and transportation of leaves sometimes present a problem. In some circumstances, the sheets may have a relatively high surface tension and closely adjacent to the adjacent sheets. This circumstance may prevent easy separation of the last banknotes from the stack of sheets. Or the last lucah last banknote may be more resistant to the efforts of the segment strong friction for gripping element and separates easily from the stack. In other situations, the gripping mechanism may be to capture a sheet of plasticized type or having low friction characteristics relative to segment strong friction for gripping element for other reasons. In such circumstances, the grip of the last banknote of the stack can be difficult.

The difficulties of capturing sheets can also be caused by wear or malfunction. After prolonged use can wear down the segments of the strong friction on the gripping element. Therefore, the segments will provide less effort gearing to move the last of the banknote. Or segments of strong friction in use can be contaminated, which can also lead to reduced frictional characteristics of the gripping element. The container means of circulation, containing a stack of banknotes, also provide a force offset for holding the last banknote adjacent to the gripping element. As a result of damage or wear a mechanism for ensuring that the force of the bias may not be able to provide sufficient force to shift the last banknote in engagement with the gripping element, which may be required to achieve the highly reliable SOSTOYaNII to move coordinated with the segments of the strong friction on the cylindrical parts of the gripping element. Segments strong friction can rotate past the last of the banknote, essentially leaving it in the stack. When this situation occurs, the controller of the machine, in essence, makes repeated attempts to capture the banknote. If the note cannot be removed from the stack, the machine can operate according to its programming to ensure that banknotes from other sources through other gripping mechanisms inside the machine. Or the machine may indicate his fault, and his work will cease. In another case, a significant inconvenience for the user of the machine is more time implementation of a financial transaction or a complete inability to perform a financial transaction.

During transportation inside the machine can also create problems banknotes having the properties that are worse than optimal. Wet or soiled banknotes can adhere to the protruding elements and may not be able to move the branches of the tape in the means of transportation. Slippery banknotes or banknotes with unacceptably weak friction, may be unable to provide enough pressure engagement with the moving branches of the tape and will not be able to move in a coordinated is Ceplene with branches tape and stuck or will not be able to move in the means of transportation for other reasons.

These conditions can also delay the implementation of a financial transaction or to make the machine unusable. The problem of adhesion of banknotes in the means of transportation may also lead to the erroneous issuance of banknotes. In some circumstances, the banknote may be flattened or damaged due to transportation problems.

Therefore, there is a need for improved gripping mechanisms and means of transportation of the sheets used in ATMs. There is also a need to improve the gripping mechanisms and means of transportation used at ATMs, which simply can be installed in existing machines to facilitate their use with banknotes and types of sheets having a wider range of properties.

Additionally, the present invention is to provide a method of upgrading an existing banking machine to provide an improved transporting sheets.

Additional objectives of the present invention will be clear from the following description of preferred embodiments and the accompanying claims.

The above problems are solved in the example implementation of the present invention by replacing the gripping element in a well-known mechanism of the device of issue sheets on alternative gripping element, which provides for the application of advatnage element, or by providing such element otherwise. In the example embodiment, the sheets are captured by the capture element, banknotes are captured from the stack. The stack is limited to the last bill, which gears gripping element.

Alternative gripping element contains at least one mobile siteplease part. Mobile saralaya part is movable relative to the rotating gripping element. Alternative gripping element operates so that during the rotation of the gripping element about its axis to capture the banknote saralaya part engages with captured last bill. If the gripping element is rotated so as to move the gripping element exceeds the speed of movement of the latter banknotes, saralaya part of the advanced moves radially outward relative to the gripping element. This movement siteplease part out making increasing siteplease force to the last bill. This growing siteplease effort in the result provides an additional force that moves the last banknote relative to the stack.

Cited as premaritally repeater is in operative connection with siteplease part. Under the influence of the Cam surface and the Cam follower saralaya part is moved radially inward, when necessary, before passing siteplease part near the element removal. This allows siteplease part to avoid collision with the element removal and prevents damage to the mechanism in the unit of issue and moving through his notes.

Cited as an example implementation of the present invention also provides a means of transporting sheets for transporting banknotes or sheets that have been issued by a mechanism device issue. The means of transportation of the sheets contains a few tapes that contain multiple branches tape, essentially parallel to and separated from each other by transverse interval. Protruding elements are essentially parallel to and between the branches of the tape. This configuration allows the sheet to move from between the branches of the tape and exposed elements. To ensure more reliable moving sheets at least one of the standard tape is replaced with an alternative tape. Although the standard tape are essentially smooth continuous surface engagement of the sheets, cited as an example done siteplease leaves the surface of the tape. As a result, the leaves that get stuck due to adhesion to the protruding elements will be hooked projections and forced to move in the means of transportation. Similarly, the leaves of which do not have sufficient engagement with the branches of the tape by friction to move through the means of transportation, engage ledges and forced to move with them. This minimizes the risk of freezing the leaves in the means of transportation and increases the reliability of the machine.

Cited as an example of the execution of the gripping element and the tape can be used in new machines or existing ATMs without further significant change machines. This will allow you to quickly increase the reliability of the machine and at a reasonable cost.

The controller 22 includes one or more processors that are in operative connection with the storage device, schematically indicated by the reference symbol 24. The controller executes program commands for which the machine performs financial transactions. As the financial transactions.

Cited as an example of a variant embodiment of the invention contains at least one device 26 communication. The communication device may be one or more devices, allowing the machine to communicate with other systems and devices for performing financial transactions. For example, the device 26 may also contain a modem for communications over the data line or radio with one or more other computers that transmit data, the transfer of funds in response to financial transactions carried out by the machine. Either the device 26 may also contain different types of network interfaces, line drivers or other devices suitable for communication between the machine 10 and other computers and systems.

The machine 10 also includes a number of sensors to detect various States of the automaton. These different sensors for simplicity and ease of understanding are represented schematically and indicated as a component 28. It should be noted that several sensors in the machine to provide for the determination and display controller 22 state devices inside the machine.

Banking machine 10 also includes a number of actuators, circuits the TV, such as motors, solenoids, cylinders, drives the rotational motion and other types of devices, operating in response to the action of the controller 22. It should be noted that many components within the banking machine controlled by actuators positioned in operative connection with them. Actuators 30 and 32 are shown for schematic representations of these actuators in the machine and to facilitate understanding.

In the example of the banking machine 10, there are four mechanisms 34, 36, 38 and 40 of the issue sheets. Each issuing mechanism leaves captures the sheets in response to the action of the controller 22. The sheets can be selectively captured, usually one at a time from a stack of sheets, for example from the stack 42, shown next to the mechanism 34 issue sheets. In the example implementation, each of the stacks of sheets corresponding to a particular mechanism of delivery of sheets placed in the container. In the container 44 posted by sheets, the appropriate mechanism 34 of issuance. Similarly, in the container 46 posted by sheets captured by the mechanism 36 of issuance. In the container 48 posted by sheets issued by the mechanism 38 is issued, and the container 50 posted by lansman 52 offset for gearing their mechanism of delivery of the sheets.

In the example implementation of the containers 44, 46, 48 and 50 are used to accommodate sheets having a predefined value, such as banknotes. Banknotes can have a different advantage that allows the issuance of money in different number of clients. Or one or more containers can contain other types of sheets, such as coupons, temporary receipts in making a contribution, tickets, money orders, or other valuable objects. The controller controls the dispense mechanism selectively in response to input customer data and information system, which provides the message machine, for the election of issuance of the sheets from the container.

In the example implementation of banknotes issued of the containers engage the first means of transportation of banknotes, schematically indicated by the reference symbol 54. The first means of transportation 54 banknotes, which are described in detail below, contains several continuous tape 56. Tapes pass around sets of rollers 58, which are set in motion and control tapes. As schematically shown in Fig.1 in the form of a sheet, issued by mechanism 36 of issue: the leaves can catch races is of 60.

The second means of transportation 60 in the example implementation, similar to the means of transportation, described in U.S. patent No. 5342165, the description of which is included in this application by reference. The means of transportation 60 also contains several conveyor belts 62 which extend around the sets of rollers 64. The rollers 64 are set in motion by the belt 62 so that the banknotes held up in the means of transportation 54, first caught the branches of the tape 62 and collected in the stack 66. In response to the action of the controller 22, when the stack 66 collected the required number of banknotes, the stack is moved in the manner described in the incorporated by reference patent; and the tape 62 in motion so that the stack 66 is moved to the hole 68 for the user in the housing 12 of the machine. When moving the banknotes to the hole 68, the controller activates the appropriate control device to control the door 70 to allow the stack to pass through the hole to the outside. As a result, the user can receive the sheets from the machine. After the sensor will give a signal that the user has removed a stack of holes, the controller will be able to close the door 70, CTOs from the following as an example banking machine 10, are devices that can be used in these machines. ATMs used according to this invention, may contain many additional or alternative devices, such as devices deposits, reading documents, receiving means of circulation; device, print tickets, and other devices.

In Fig.14 depicts the mechanism 34 issue sheets. In the example exercise machine 10 all referral mechanisms are the same, therefore, the following paragraphs will describe only one of them. The mechanism 34 issue contains gripping element 72. Gripping element 72 selectively rotates around the axis 74 in response to the action of the controller 22. Notes or other sheets in the stack 42 is installed on the supporting surface 76, which ends in the area, located next to the gripping element. The last bill 78 limits the stack next to the gripping element 72. At each rotation of the gripping element last in the moment, note, limiting the stack, moved and delivered from the stack and fed to the means of transportation 54.

Gripping element 72 has an outer bounding surface 80. B2 withdrawal in the example implementation does not rotate clockwise according to Fig.14. However, in the example implementation, the elements 82 removing from the respective one-way clutches will rotate counterclockwise, as described below.

Downstream of the elements 82 removing installed detector 84 twin sheets. Detector 84 twin sheets may be a mechanical sensor, radiation sensor, an acoustic sensor or a sensor of another type, appropriate to determine the movement of one or more past the element removing means of transportation. Downstream of the detector twin sheet set pair of output rollers 86. Bringing the rollers engage the sheets, which are extracted from the stack to engage their rollers. The rollers driven by the drive in response to the action of the controller 22, grabbed the sheets and move them to the means of transportation. It should be noted that this configuration mechanism for issuing cited as an example, and in other embodiments, the implementation may use other configurations.

According to U.S. patent No. 5577720 normal operation of the dispense mechanism involves the presence of a gripping element, rotating during operation of the capture, in response nent 72 rotates counterclockwise about the axis 74. This performs due to the action of the actuator or similar device. Rotation of the gripping element forcibly extracts the last bill 78 from the stack. The elements 82 removing the resist movement of the last banknote, since according to Fig.14 removing elements do not move in a clockwise direction. Due to the engagement surface of the gripping element 72 last banknotes and due to the frictional characteristics of the external bounding surface 80 force extraction force last banknote 78 from the stack, essentially overcomes the force of reaction exerted by removing elements. This is because the elements of withdrawal have less surface area and/or a different coefficient of friction, resulting in a force counteracting less moving efforts gripping element. However, removing elements provide sufficient resistance to, essentially, do not allow to extract from the stack any notes, except for the last banknote 78. This is because other bills in the stack, except the last banknote does not directly engage the gripping element and the force, forcing them to leave the stack is not provided to them in the same degree.

When the last bill 78 isuledda in operative connection with the controller, and at least one signal from the detector twin sheet specifies one or more banknotes are taken from the stack. If it is determined taking a few notes, the controller may stop the rotation of the gripping element counterclockwise, as shown in Fig.14, and instead rotate it clockwise. When the gripping element 72 is rotated clockwise to place the sheets back in the stack 42, provides the opportunity for joint rotation elements 82 removing counterclockwise, as shown in Fig.14. This performs due to the action of one-way clutches associated with each of the elements removal. As a result, the sheets are returned to the stack. After that, the controller 22 can again cause rotation of the gripping element 72 counterclockwise, and again tries to grab out of the pile one last bill.

If the detector 84 twin sheet specifies only one bill coming out of the stack, the controller actuates the actuator or other suitable transfer mechanism that displays the rollers 86 hooked and moved the sheet on the means of transportation 54. It should be noted that the steps described as a response to the controller action, leading the e machine, to guide dual banknotes in a separate tray or in another storage location, and not to make repeated attempts to capture one of the banknote.

More gripping element is provided as an example implementation of the present invention shown in Fig.2 and in Fig.3. Gripping element 72 has a Central shaft 88. On the shaft there are three separate cylindrical parts. These cylindrical portions include a Central portion 90. On the first axial side of the axis of the cylindrical portion 90 is first outer portion 92. In the axial direction opposite from the Central cylindrical part, is the second outer portion 94.

According Fig.3, each cylindrical part 90, 92 and 94 has a corresponding one member from among the members 82 removing adjacent thereto and indicated by the reference symbols 96, 98 and 100, respectively. Each element removal has a corresponding one-way clutch 102, 104 and 106, which is in operative connection with him. Each of the one-way clutches, as described above, allows the element removal be performed only unidirectional rotation. Element removal can rotate only in the case of the reverse of receipt of the sheets in the stack. However, when the capture sheets elemen the actuator 108, which selectively rotates the shaft in response to signals from the controller. Also according to Fig.3 cited as an example of the implementation of the element 96 removing adjacent to the Central part 90, is located at some angle relative to the elements 98 and 100 withdrawal, adjacent to the outer portions 92 and 94, respectively. In the example implementation of the invention, the element 96 removal is located at an angle in front of other items removal, in the banknote engage a Central element removal during capture to engage them by removing elements 98 and 100. Of course, in other embodiments of the invention can use other solutions, configurations and types of items removed and gripping elements.

According Fig.2 exterior bounding surface 80 gripping element contains the external surface 110 of the cylindrical part 90 and the outer surface 112 of the cylindrical part 92 and the outer surface 114 of the cylindrical part 94. The outer surface 110 includes a ribbed portion 116 with a relatively strong friction. The rest of the outer surface 110 has a portion 118 with a relatively weaker friction. Part 116 with strong friction makes siteplease priesley banknotes from the stack. Part 118 with weak friction, essentially, can move relative to the last banknotes, without leading to its recovery from the stack. In the example implementation of this design facilitates reliable capture of one banknote at each rotation of the gripping element on one turn. This construction also enables the creation interval between notes, sequentially selected from the stack. This spacing facilitates the identification and processing of banknotes.

The outer surface 112 of the cylindrical part 92 also includes a ribbed portion 120 with a relatively strong friction. The outer surface 112 also contains part 120 with relatively low friction, which surrounds the part with high friction. The location of the angled portion 120 with strong friction, essentially complies with part 116 with strong friction on the Central portion 90. As in the case of other parts with relatively strong and weak friction, part 120 with strong friction attaches to the last bill, the force being sufficient to engage and denesting, while the portion with the relatively weak friction can be moved in engagement last banknotes, while not leading to its recovery from the stack. Analog being weaker friction. The angle of the parts with strong friction and low friction on the cylindrical part 94 corresponds to the angle of inclination of the parts with strong friction and low friction on other cylindrical parts of the gripping element.

In partial cross-section view in Fig.3 clearly shows that the inside part 120 with strong friction of the cylindrical part 92 has an arcuate segment 128. Arcuate segment 128 is part of the axial width of the cylindrical portion toward the outer side of the gripping element. Arcuate segment 128 is movable element 130. The movable element 130, as described in detail below, is movable relative to the cylindrical part and the gripping element, resulting in the possibility of radial movement of the arcuate segment 128 outward relative to the bounding surface, which limits the gripping element. In the example implementation of the invention, the cylindrical portion 92, essentially has the form of I cross-section across, and contains a Central core portion 132. In the cross section of the rod portion 132 ends of the flange portion 134 having an external surface 112. The movable element 130 is made with vozmozhnostyu Cam 138, passing along the opposite longitudinal side of the recess 136. The Cam 138 is connected to the shaft 88 and relies on him. The Cam 138 is also connected to the supporting member 142. Supporting element 142 operates, maintains the Cam 138 stationary during rotation of the shaft 88 and the cylindrical part 92.

The cylindrical portion 94 contains patterns that are essentially mirror structures corresponding to the cylindrical part 92. The part with strong friction outer surface 114 includes an arcuate segment 144 on the movable element 146. The movable element 146 is installed in the recess 148, limited pivotal part 150 and the flange part 152 of the cylindrical part 94.

The Cam 154 is installed in the recess 156 on the longitudinal side opposite to the recess 148. The Cam 154 is connected to the shaft 88, and relies on him, and held stationary relative to the shaft 158 of the support element.

Since the cylindrical portions 92 and 94 of the gripping element are the same, the description of the action gripping element is described in relation to the cylindrical portion 94. According Fig.4 segment 144 passes through a hole 160 in the flange portion 152 of the cylindrical part 94. Cited as an example of padidinti 162. Swivel supports the movable element 146 through the core portion 150.

The Cam 154 is limited to the Cam surface 164. The Cam follower 166 rests on the movable element 146 on the end opposite the arcuate segment 144. The Cam follower passes through a hole 168 in the core of 150. Due to this, the Cam follower gears Cam surface 164 of the Cam 154. It should be noted that this design provides the ability to control the position of the arcuate segment 144 during the rotation of the gripping element due to the fact that the Cam follower 166 engages the Cam surface 164.

Action cited as an example of implementation of the gripping element 72 is explained according to Fig.5 and Fig.6. As shown in Fig.5, during normal operation, the gripping element parts with strong friction on the gripping elements engage the last bill 78, limiting the stack. Parts with high friction to move the bill, which is essentially geared in the state, and with the same speed as the gripping element by element 82 removing, resulting in the latest banknote is removed from the stack. During normal operation of the banknote moves synchronist last banknote the arrow N, essentially corresponds to the speed of the outer surface 80 of a gripping element, indicated by the arrow R. the Arrow F shows the direction to be attached to the stack of effort, holding the last note 78 engages the gripping element 72.

Fig.6 illustrates the action of the gripping element 72, cited as an example implementation, when the last bill 78 does not move coordinated with the gripping element. Under these conditions, the speed and displacement of the gripping element exceeds the corresponding velocity and displacement of the last banknote 78. Arcuate segments 128, 144 with strong friction, which serve as saralaya parts retain engagement with the last bill, because it allows them to move relative to the gripping element 72. It presents arcuate segment 144 in Fig.6. Because saralaya part of the arcuate segment 144 remains in engagement with the last bill and is movable relative to the gripping element, when the angular movement of the gripping element exceeds moving siteplease part of the segment 144, the segment 144 is moved radially outward relative to the bounding external pleasee force, attached on the last bill, carrying out forced removing it from the stack. According to the subsequent detailed description of the rolling element: siteplease parts are moved radially outward, providing increasing siteplease effort, and this increases the difference between moving the gripping element of choice and siteplease part. This increasing force which acts on the last bill, forcing her to start moving past the elements 82 removing so that you grab the bill. When the last bill begins to move coordinated with the gripping element, saralaya parts can begin to move radially inward. In the example implementation of a portion of the Cam follower and the Cam surface to provide radial movement saralaya parts inside to the level of the outer limiting surface 80 by the time when siteplease part rotates to position the contact elements 82 removal. Thereby prevent damage to SitePlayer parts and banknotes.

Fig.7-10 illustrate cited as an example of the action of the gripping element 72 against the cylindrical part 94 gripping element. It should be noted that the SNO Fig.7 gripping element 72 is rotated in the direction of the arrow R. Based on the fact that the last bill, geared siteplease part of the segment 144, does not move synchronously with the gripping element, the segment 144 is rotated in the first direction relative to the swivel 162. This is because the segment 144 is engaged with the bill, and its angular displacement does not correspond to angular movement of the gripping element 72 relative to the axis 74. Segment 144 is moved radially outward relative to the axis 74. Radial movement of the segment 144 to the outside is limited by engagement of a part of a Cam follower with a Cam 166 part 164 of the Cam 154.

Obviously, moving outward siteplease part on the segment 144 is making increasing siteplease force to the last bill in response to the absence of movement of the latter banknotes gripping element. And saralaya part of the segment 144 is also moved radially outward with increasing difference between the movement of the gripping element and the movement of the banknote. It is moving out may continue until the segment 144 will not pass the full length of its stroke, which is limited to the Cam surface.

According Fig.8, if the last bill was not originally moved koordinierung segment 144, essentially, will remain passing radially outward relative to the outer limiting surface of the gripping element. This provides an additional force that can extract banknotes from the stack. It should be noted that when the bill begins to move, if the move banknotes begins to exceed the movement of the gripping element of choice, then saralaya part of the arcuate segment 144 will be drawn radially inward to the outer limiting surface 80. However, when saralaya portion extended radially outward, then she will be coming out in the extent to which this is permitted by engagement of a part of a Cam follower 166 with a Cam surface 164.

According Fig.9, since the gripping element 72 also rotates to the position in which saralaya part of the arcuate segment 144 approaches the elements of withdrawal, the profile of the Cam surface 164 causes the rotation of the rolling element 146 with the Cam follower of the Cam relative to the swivel 162. As shown in Fig.9, the Cam surface rotates the movable element 146, essentially, in the opposite direction of rotation relative to the swivel 162 - direction of the treatment of a gripping element, wherein the arcuate segment is nearing item removal, arcuate segment is moved radially inward to the outer limiting surface 80.

According Fig.10, when the gripping element 72 of choice turned to the point where saralaya part of the segment 144 is adjacent to the element removal, the action of the Cam surface 164 and a portion of the Cam follower 166 removes siteplease part by moving the rolling element 146. The outer surface of the segment 144 at this point moves to essentially match the exterior bounding surface 80 of the gripping element. Thus, by taking siteplease part of the segment 144 radially inward saralaya part shall reduce siteplease force to the last bill during its movement between the gripping element and element removal. This decreasing effort not only avoids collisions between siteplease part and removing elements, but also prevents possible damage to the mechanism and captured banknotes.

According Fig.10 cited as an example implementation of the invention contains the stop 170 on the movable element 146. Stop 170 gears surface 172, bounding the recess 148. Stop prayway surface 80 of the gripping element.

It should be noted that this is cited as an example of the implementation of the gripping element provides increased siteplease the force applied on the last bill, in response to the absence of movement of the latter banknotes due to the gripping element. As a result, the application of additional capture efforts carried out only in the case when it is required for denesting last banknote. If the banknote is dirty, have a high surface tension, or slippery consistency, the additional stress of moving is usually attached automatically. While cited as an example execution of a gripping element also provides the ability to compensate for wear or reduced friction due to contamination that may be caused by the intense use of a gripping element. Thus cited as an example of the execution of the gripping element can compensate for conditions that might otherwise lead to decrease in the reliability of the capture of the banknote.

It should be noted that, although according cited as an example the implementation of a gripping element of choice saralaya part is moved radially in the waiting for the final bill and the gripping element, in other embodiments, the implementation can use other technical solutions. These decisions may include, for example, other devices and systems to determine the difference of the relative movement between the captured notes and SitePlayer element and moving in siteplease parts for applications additional SitePlayer efforts in responding to it. Although cited as an example implementation of the invention uses a system of mechanical type, in other embodiments, the implementation can be used in electronic and Electromechanical systems.

An additional useful aspect cited as examples of the implementation of the gripping element and its operation in connection with the mechanisms of the issue is the possibility of simple modernization of the existing banking machine. Cited as an example implementation of the invention provides the possibility of access for maintenance technician (specialist) to the internal area of the ATM, for example, by unlocking doors protected mailbox. Upon receipt of the access mechanism of the banknote processing techniques can uninstall the gripping element not containing devices saralaya parts, podi is of: the supporting elements 142 and 158 is arranged to engage the surfaces, available inside the ATM, so that during the rotation of the gripping element Cams were held in a stationary state.

After it is installed in the ATM door protected mailbox cover and block.

Gripping element 72 has essentially the same profile that the gripping elements, which are not cited as an example implementation of the present invention. Thus, to improve the functioning of the machine is easy to install cited as an example of a gripping element. It should also be noted that the installation of a gripping element 72 is often no need to change the programming of the controller 22. From the point of view of movement and retraction of banknotes functioning of the gripping element 72 is similar to the operation of the gripping element, which can be replaced.

In the example implementation of the invention, the means of transportation of banknotes, for example, means of transportation 54 banknotes, includes features to reduce the risk of jamming or clogging of banknotes in the means of transportation. As previously described according to Fig.1, means of transportation 54 banknotes contains several conveyor belts 56 passing around n the entire length of the means of transportation, or you may have a few tapes that pass between sections of a means of transportation. In the example implementation of the present invention conveyor belts are arranged so that the means of transportation has several essentially parallel branches of the tape. These branches tape submitted by the branches 174, 176 and 178 in Fig.12. Each branch of the tape passes in the longitudinal direction of means of transportation, which move the sheets. Branch tape is moved by the actuator or similar transfer mechanism, controlled in response to the action of the controller 22 and operate the rollers, which are based tape.

According Fig.12 across, between each of the adjacent pairs of the branches of the tape are exposed elements 180, 182. According Fig.12, each of the branches of the tape has the first surface of the mesh sheet, represented by surface 184 branch 174 of the tape that faces the first direction reversal to the sheet 186 passing in the means of transportation. Each of the protruding elements contains the second siteplease the sheet surface represented by the surface 188 of the protrusion 180. Second saralaya surface 188 of the sheet facing the second of the first and second directions of circulation, where are siteplease sheet surface branches of the ribbon and the tabs of the elements are essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, which moves the sheets.

According Fig.12 and 13, the configuration of the first branches of the tape and SitePlayer sheet element is such that the sheet moves between the first siteplease sheet surface branches of the tape and the second siteplease the sheet surface of the protruding elements is deformed in waves, resulting sheet is caught by the branches of the tape. As a result, when moving branches tape sheet 186 is moved in engagement with them.

According Fig.14 means of transportation 54 sheets provide the ability to receive sheets, such as sheet 190, through holes, such as hole 192. According Fig.14, the sheet passing through the hole in the protruding elements are moved into engagement the first branches tape to get in between the branches of the tape and exposed elements. The sheet in this position is moved in response to signals from the controller, using the branches of the tape to a desired location inside the machine.

As mentioned above, sometimes the sheets, such as banknotes, stuck in the means of transportation of this type. This can happen due to various the of emer implementation of the present invention the tape is of a standard type, previously used in the means of transportation of this type, replaced by an alternative tape, reducing the risk of jamming of sheets. More specifically, although famous bands have essentially smooth continuous surface of the mesh sheet, alternate tapes used in the described implementation of the present invention contain at least one projection, separated by a longitudinal spacing and passing in the first direction reversal from siteplease the sheet surface of the tape. In a more preferred implementation of the present invention such protrusions separated longitudinal intervals are intervals on the first siteplease the sheet surface of the tape. These passing longitudinally separated by the interval of the projections is provided by the engagement of the sheets, which would not otherwise be moved in the means of transportation, and moving them to the desired location.

In Fig.11 shows an isometric view branch 174 of the tape to the first surface 184 of the mesh sheet, rotated 180 degrees relative to the branches shown in Fig.13. The first surface 184 of the mesh sheet contains several tabs 194, separated longitudinal intervals. The protrusions 194 are there and the invention of the tabs 194 deformable, elastic and are spaced from each other a distance greater than the length of the leaves, which move in the longitudinal direction through appropriate means of transportation. This ensures the possibility of passing the sheet between adjacent protrusions, spaced apart longitudinally. However, it should be noted that other embodiments of the invention can use the tabs to other properties, and the tabs can be separated from each other more closely spaced. Other alternative embodiments of the invention may use tabs, spaced far apart from each other, even providing only one such tab on solid siteplease the sheet surface of the tape.

In embodiments of the invention all of the tapes used in the means of transportation, they may have on the tabs. However, in some embodiments, the implementation may need to replace only some of the tapes on the alternate tape containing such ledges. For example, according to Fig.13 in the means of transportation, which contains three branches of the ribbon, you may want to replace only the middle of the tape on the alternate tape. Alternatively, you may want to replace the two EXT is Yu the outer surface. Depending on the specific type of the transported documents, you can use different solutions for the replacement of the tape.

According Fig.13 embodiments of the invention can have a lot of tapes made so that the protrusions extending from the first siteplease sheet surface tapes, essentially, are aligned in the transverse direction. Therefore, each of the protrusions separated from each other by an interval in the longitudinal direction, is spatial is essentially the same relative to the other tabs when removing the tape from the tape conveyor. Alternative embodiments of the invention may have tape set in such a way that any pre-defined dependencies between the projections on each respective adjacent the tape will not. At each position have an advantage, because it facilitated the movement of leaves in the means of transportation.

It should be noted that the configuration branch 74 of the tape separated from each other by longitudinal ribs, which are held on the first siteplease the sheet surface of the tape, is given here as an example. In other embodiments of the invention can be used Dr bubble type. In Fig.16 depicts another alternative branch 202 of the tape, having a cone-shaped protrusions 204, located close. In Fig.17 depicts another alternative branch 206 of the tape. Branch 206 of the tape contains the beveled projections 207. It should be noted that these configurations ribbons and tabs are provided as examples, and in other embodiments, the implementation may use other configurations.

Cited as an example of the improvement of means of transportation according to the present invention are intended for use in connection with the existing means of transportation, moving such sheets, as banknotes, in the banking machine. Improved tape made with the possibility of passing around the existing sets of rollers inside the machine and to replace existing tape means of transportation, having essentially smooth continuous siteplease sheet surface throughout their length. To improve the efficiency of the means of transportation in these machines the technician should open the casing of the machine, for example, by unlocking and opening doors are protected mailbox. Then the technician will be able to delete the existing ribbon means of transportation from a set of rollers, podderivaetsya another tape of one of the types described here, which contains protrusions separated from each other in the longitudinal direction. Then the technician can close and lock the door protected mailbox ATM. Then the sheets can be moved in a means of transportation, compelled not only relatively smooth parts siteplease the sheet surface of the tape, but also forces the engagement protrusions located on it. It should be noted that the tabs on the tapes provide additional coercive force being sufficient to move the leaves that might otherwise slip or get stuck in the means of transportation.

It should be noted that in the example implementation described here alternative tape can be used with means of transportation 54 and also with the means of transportation 60. The principles of the invention can also be applied to other devices that move sheets within the machine. For example, a tape containing separated from each other by a longitudinal interval of the protrusions, the described type can be used with the system to move the stacks of sheets are described, for example, in U.S. patent No. 5507481, the description of which is included in this application as saudies coordinated with the facial branches of the tape and serving for transporting stacks, located between them. Alternative tape with the tabs can be used to move stacks of sheets located between, and provide the ability to move these stacks more reliably. As described in this application by reference patent, these means of transportation, in which the protruding elements contain the moving branches of the tape to provide a reliable moving stacks of banknotes or the United sheets, such as Bank books and cheque books, Bank machine.

The principles of the present invention can also be applied to other types of means of transport stacks and sheets, including, for example, mechanisms for reporting and accumulation of piles, is described in U.S. patent No. 5435542, the description of which is included in this application by reference. Of course, the principles of the invention can also be applied to other transportation mechanisms. It is obvious that the improved delivery of sheets to be achieved through the use of the principles of the present invention, can be provided at ATMs with enhanced features means of transportation to improve the reliability of travel eestlane capture will be improved without improving transportation, and Vice-versa. The principles of the invention can also be applied to other configurations of the gripping elements and devices and means of transportation of the sheets.

Therefore, new and improved signs of ATMs in accordance with the present invention solve at least one of the above-mentioned objectives, eliminate difficulties encountered when using prior art devices and systems, solve problems and attain the desirable results described herein.
