Protective system for preventing operation of the blender or food processor when an unidentified lid of his bowl

The cover includes means for influencing the pin to turn on the switch to ensure operation of the engine when the cover is installed in a closed operating position on the container. The locking button is located on the container with the pressure on the latch and can rely on the emphasis or to enter into the notch. The present invention provides a new design of protective systems, which simultaneously locks the cover to the bowl of a mixer, and also actuates the contact pin and, consequently, the safety switch motor.

Household appliance for processing food products containing the rotating tool mounted in the container and removable mounted on the drive base, a lid for closing the above-mentioned container and the protective device to control the operation described in U.S. patent 3892365. The specified protective device comprises a pin sliding in a vertical channel of the container. However, this device is what we are to prevent operation of the blender or food processor when an unidentified cover the bowl, having a simple and ergonomic design and eliminates the above disadvantages.

This problem is solved by appliance type mixer or a food processor, containing a base with a motor, a container capable of removable to gain a foothold at the base, and the said container has a cylindrical open top, a machining tool mounted in the lower part of the container and is able to operate the specified engine, the cover can close the specified container, means limiting axial movement of the cover, means to limit rotation of the cover, protective device containing a mounted on the container, the pin, and mounted on the base switch, and the cover has means on the pin for control switch to ensure operation of the engine, when the cover is closed working position on the container, the container is provided with a locking button that can trigger the shut-off device capable of interacting with a focus or be entered in the notch, and this notch (or emphasis) is provided on the lid for locking the lid on the container in a closed working einer, to use the button, and hold the cover to open the device.

Preferably the button is located on top of the handle of the container and capable of moving approximately in the vertical direction. The user is prompted to firmly hold the device by the handle, pressing his thumb on the button.

It is preferable for simplification of the device constipation and protective pin adjustably mounted against the return spring.

According to one variant of execution of the cover has exposed horizontal edges, able to enter into appropriate container edges, and the edges of the cover and/or edges of the container provided by the brakes.

Mixer made in accordance with the invention, shown in Fig.1, contains the drive base 20 with an electric motor 21, the container or bowl 1 having an open top portion in the form of a cylinder, and the cover 6 for SAI tool 24 attached to the upper end of the rotating shaft 23, continuing through the bottom of the bowl 1, and the lower end of the said shaft includes a clutch driven by the motor 21 when the Cup 1 is mounted on a base 20.

The handle 2 is provided on the side wall of the bowl 1. The upper and lower ends of the handle 2 is attached to the bowl 1. The handle 2 includes part 14 made in one piece with the bowl 1, with the said portion 14 attached to the shell 15 with the formation of the hollow body. Includes a pin 16 mounted against the spring 11 housed in the hollow handle 2. The lower end of the pin 16 can affect the electric switch 17 located in the drive base 20. The upper end of the pin 16 can move the 4 button, located on the curved top of the handle 2. Button 4 can be moved vertically against the spring 10.

In Fig.2 and 3 shows that the edge of the bowl 1 has two diametrically opposite the stopper 3. Each stopper 3 is out and has a downward stop 22. The stoppers 3 are used as a guide for the two opposite protruding horizontally inside edges 9 of the cover 6. Two speakers inside edge 9 is fixed in the lower part of the stoppers 3, which serves as a guide and stop motion for protruding edges 9. The lugs 22 of the stoppers 3 determine the end of the movement the EMA cover 6 in a vertical direction, when she is in the “locked” position.

At the end of the handle 2 is the lock latch 5 integrated into the design of the button 4, to prevent movement of the cover 6, when it is installed in place on the bowl 1 and rotated to lock in the “locked” position. Parallel to the latch 5 is a plunger 7 is made in the Cup 1 channel. The plunger 7 is able to push the pin 16 so that the pin 16 was affected by the switch 17 of the electric motor.

As best seen in Fig.4, the cover 6 has a ledge 8 trapezoidal shape, which includes protection system, acting on the latch 5 and the plunger 7. The protrusion 8 has an inclined affecting the face 18 and a vertical locking edge 19.

When the cover 6 mounted on the bowl 1 and rotates in the closing direction of the bowl 1, the inclined face 18 of the protrusion 8 meets the latch 5 so that the latch 5 is pressed inclined face 18 of the protrusion 8 until then, until it is completely covered by the protrusion 8. Then the ledge 8 acts on the plunger 7, pressing it until then, until you cover it. At this point, the cover 6 reaches the end of its stroke, as the protruding edge 9 fixed in the stoppers 3. Then, the latch 5 is released and returns to its original position, as shown in Fig.6, springs who enoy locking edge 19 of the protrusion 8 and rests against a vertical locking edge 19, forming a stopper. In this position, the pusher 7 presses on the pin 16, which acts on the switch 17 of the electric motor, closing the circuit and allowing operation of the device.

In order to remove the cover 6, the user must press the button 4 in the vertical direction, to press the latch 5, and then rotate the cover 6 in the direction of unlocking, and at the same time to remove it. At the moment when the button 4 is pressed, the latch 5 is lowered and again enters the canal, completed in the bowl 1 and the cover 6 can be rotated with the passage of the protrusion 8 on top of the latch 5. Thus, the protrusion 8 releases the plunger 7, which is returned under the action of the spring 11 in its initial position, as shown in Fig.5. The plunger 7 turns off the appliance, since the pin 16 ceases to affect the switch 17 of the electric motor. Then the angular displacement of the cover 6 in its open position continues until the protruding edge 9 of the cover 6 will not depart from the stoppers 3, thus completely releasing the cover 6.

The release of the cover 6 occurs only when the button 4 is vertically pressed by the user, and thus the latch 5, which is a component button 4 can be moved vertically downwards, thus obespechyvaly embodiment of the invention shown in Fig.7 - 10. In accordance with Fig.7 and 9, the pin 16' is located in the channel formed in the casing 30 mounted on the vertical edge 31, is made on the outer side wall of the bowl 1'. The upper end of the handle 2' is attached to the bowl 1'. The handle 2' contains part 14', made in one piece with the bowl 1', and the shell 15' attached to the part 14' with the formation of the hollow body.

According Fig.7, the cover 6', fixed in the correct position, shown in an already running motor, enabled by lowering the pin 16'. Guide 32 pin planted on the upper end of the pin 16' and set against the spring 11'. Button 4' is set against the spring 10' on the upper part of the handle 2'.

In Fig.10 shows the lower part of the container 1' with the pin 16' and the safety switch 17' is mounted in the drive base.

To install the cover 6' and at the same time enable switch 17' engine of the device, perform the following steps:

- To enter the inner ring 33 of the cover 6' inside of the bowl 1' and pivot the cover up until it reaches the “locked” position. A small rib 12, the button 4', enters the groove or the recess 13 on the cover, preventing its rotation, which is better seen in Fig.8.

In these conditions it is impossible to rotate the cover 6', without giving effect to the button 4'.

In order to remove the cover 6' to open the appliance, press the button 4' and turn above the cover 6' in the opposite direction, i.e. in the direction opposed to the direction in which turned the lid when closing the appliance.

It should be clear after the description of some preferred embodiments that the scope of the present invention encompasses other possible variants of implementation, limited only by the contents of the attached claims, which includes also the possible equivalents.

1. Electrical device type mixer or a food processor, containing a base (20) with the motor (21), the container (1, 1'), removable secured to the said base and the said container has an open upper part of the cylindrical shape and the handle (2, 2'), the tool (24) for processing of food products, installed in the lower part of the said container, means (3, 9) to limit axial movement of the cover, means (22, 9) limits the rotary movement of the cover, the protective device comprising a pin (16, 16' mounted on the container, and the switch (17, 17' mounted on the base, and the cover has means (8) impacts on the pin to turn on the switch to ensure operation of the engine when the cover is closed working position on the container, characterized in that it has a locking button (4, 4'), located on the top of the handle (2, 2') of the container (1, 1'), and the movable approximately in the vertical direction, and this button can affect the latch (5, 12), able to rely on the stop (19) or enter into the recess (13), and said recess or referred to the emphasis made on the lid (6, 6') for fixing to the container (1,1’) in the closed operating position.
