The rotator

 

The invention can be used on the vessel for development drilling and subsea oil or gas wells. The rotator provides end-to-end vertical shaft made inside the ship, the turret having a vertical passing channel installed within the shaft, the intermediate and inner tubes, installed in the turret. While fixing the turret relative to the seabed, the vessel can be rotated about a vertical axis, depending on wind and sea currents. The intermediate pipe is connected with the turret and the inner tube is connected to the intermediate pipe and provided with a lower conical part for placing a submersible buoy. The technical field to which the invention relates

The present invention relates to a turning device for use in a vessel equipped for the development, drilling and so on underwater oil/gas wells and include vertically passing through the shaft (cross-channel), in which is mounted a turret mounted for rotation around the turret is fixed relative to the seabed with anchor lines, preferably in the form of anchor chains.

The invention

Task to be solved by the present invention is directed, is to create with simple tools regards, the drilling, possibly at the same time.

According to the invention the solution of this problem is provided a rotary device for a vessel, such as vessel for drilling and oil production, and named ship performed with end-to-end, vertically passing mine. The device includes a turret having a vertical passing channel installed within the shaft for rotation around a vertical axis relative to the hull so that when mounted turret relative to the seabed, the vessel can be rotated relative to the specified vertical axis depending on wind and sea currents, and the pipe installed inside the turret.

A turning device according to the present invention is characterized by the fact that it is provided with another pipe, essentially coaxial with the turret and forming the intermediate pipe with an outside diameter less than the internal diameter of the turret, and with an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the specified first pipe, occupying the position of the inner tube, so that between the outer surface of the intermediate tube and the inner surface of the turret is formed vertically oriented end-to-end space, the intermediate pipe soy is Lannoy and located with the possibility of accommodation within this lower part of the inner pipe submersible buoy, such as a buoy system submerged turret loading (STL buoy). Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention

As the inner tube 36, the intermediate tube 32 may be almost the same length vertically, and the sentry gun 16 (Fig.1), however it has a significantly smaller diameter than the turret, so that between the outer surface of the intermediate tube 32 and the inner surface of the turret 16 is formed of a vertically oriented end-to-end space, a radial size which is large enough to hold several pipelines 34 connecting the vessel with underwater field.

The inner tube 36 has internal vertical through channel 36' for the passage of the drill pipe, which is driven not shown drive system and preferably is suspended from the drilling rig 14 of the vessel. At its lower end the inner tube 36 to perform the labor of the intermediate tube 32, and connected with the rest of the inner tube 36 through a tapering transition section 36'", which has an internal shape in accordance with the shape of the STL buoy (not shown).

The lower edge of the inner tube 36 may be attached to the intermediate tube 32, which is connected to the housing sentry guns with radial 38 (Fig.2, 3) on which the locking means 30 and depart vertical elements 40 in the form of a beam bearing guide blocks 26. The outer vertical edges of the beams may be welded to the inner surface of the turret 16. Vertical edges of the beams 42 may be attached to the body of the turret 16 in the same manner as beams 40.

Claims

1.
