The invention relates to research on the assessment of corrosion on the internal surface of the pipeline and can be used in chemical, oil and gas industry. Witness samples for investigation of corrosion of the pipeline is executed in the form of a hollow cylinder cut along the axis of the material of the test sample. The sample material has elastic compliances under the action of radial forces. On the outer surface of the sample deposited insulating coating so that the areas along the section line remain uncovered. Witness samples supplied by the flat springs made of corrosion-resistant steel, are installed on the outer surface of the sample. Spring is fixed at one end on sections of the witness sample, free from isolation, and directed circumferentially away from the incision. The force of elasticity of the spring is less than or equal to the force of elasticity of the sample witness at the site of incision, the value of which is not less thanthe circumference of the witness sample when it is placed in the pipeline. Known witness samples for research into the corrosion of pipelines (SU/s 868435, MKI G 01 N 1/28; G 01 N 17/00, 11.08.80), made in the form of a strip with an insulating coating on the outside surfaces having a radius of bending of the work area, equal to the radius of the investigated pipe, in the form of a loop attached at both ends of the retaining rod.

The disadvantages of this witness samples are the need of the device on the pipeline engineered a special device type gateway to enter into the pipeline pattern, the rod crosses the center cavity of the pipeline on almost all of its diameter, thereby creating significant resistance to movement of the pumped via pipeline product.

The disadvantage of this witness samples is the difficulty of extracting it from the pipeline to control. Known sample witness is closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result.

An object of the invention is the creation of a witness sample for the study of corrosion of the pipeline, the construction of which allows control of the magnitude of corrosive wear of the witness sample without removing it from the pipeline.

The technical problem is solved due to the fact that the sample witness for the study of corrosion of the pipeline in the form of a hollow cylinder made of a split along the axis of the material of the test pipe and having an elastic yielding under the action of radial forces on the outer surface of which is coated with an insulating coating so orrosion-resistant steel, mounted on the outer surface of the witness sample, one end of the fixed areas and witness samples, free from isolation, and directed circumferentially away from the incision, with the force of elasticity of the spring is less than or equal to the force of elasticity of the sample witness at the site of incision, the value of which is not less than1/4the circumference of the witness sample when it is placed in the pipeline, in addition, in the plane perpendicular to the pipeline axis passing through the middle of the length of the cylinder on the line connecting the axis of the pipeline and the middle section of the cylinder, the last side of the slit communicates with the registering device, and on the other hand - with the source of x-or gamma radiation, located on the outer surface of the pipeline.

Witness samples contains hollow cylinder 1 from the material of the test pipe 2, cut along the axis of the elastic radius, the value of the cutequal to or more than 90C. the Outer surface of the hollow cylinder 1 is covered from the to cylinder 1 pads 5 made of corrosion-resistant steel. On the other hand in front of the slit of the cylinder 1 is mounted recording device 9, the radiation source 8 and the recording device 9 are located on the same axis passing through the axis of the pipe 2 and the middle section of the cylinder 1. Through the spring 7 is an electrical contact of the cylinder 1 with the wall of the pipeline 2, which ensures the equivalence of the electrical operating conditions of the witness sample and line 2.

Thus, without removing from the pipeline 2 sample witness, at any time to determine the extent of corrosion of the pipe walls 2 and calculate its durability that is the subject of studies of corrosion of the pipeline 2. Witness samples, i.e., the cylinder 1, the insulation 3 and the spring 7 after a full wear of the cylinder 1 are carried away by the flow of product to the first trap or filter in front of units, to which is connected the pipe 2 and where it will be extracted during the next treatment. Thus, there is no need to remove from the pipeline 2 sample witness after the end of the studies.

Sample witness can be applied in the study of corrosion of pipelines, gas pipelines, which will greatly reduce the cost of research and to improve the quality of work.
