Locking device for panels (options)

 

The invention relates to a locking device. The locking device comprises a first panel, a locking lug, a second panel having a core and a front portion, first and second locking slot in the second panel. When packaging goods and, in particular, one or more of the goods in the carton wrapping type commonly used locking devices for maintaining the closure of the cardboard CSA and must remain in this state until the opening of the carton.

One well known type of locking device includes a locking lug and cooperating slot. An example of a locking device of this type is described in U.S. patent 3249284. In this example, as usual, the locking lug includes a head part attached along a relatively narrow neck to the panel cardboard boxes. In Fig. 1 shows the blank cardboard boxes, comprising a locking device for panels according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. In the illustrated embodiment, the blank has a configuration for forming cartons, wrapping type, having first and second closing panel 1, 5, panels 2, 4 side walls and the top panel 3.
