The invention relates to the field of magnetic separation of mineral mixtures with a high degree of selectivity for their enrichment. The technical result is the effective destruction of the magnetic conglomerates and locks, high selectivity of separation of the products of the separation, low power consumption. The magnetic separator includes a non-magnetic rotating drum, a magnetic system, located inside the drum, creating a pulsating magnetic field, the feeder and receiver separation products. The magnetic system is made of permanent magnets, with the possibility of rotation with variable frequency near the inner surface of the drum axes of rotation parallel to the axis of rotation of the drum, with the possibility of changing the angles between the vertical and the radius vector to the axis of rotation of the magnets. 1 Il. SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of dressing of minerals f minerals with the help of a method of magnetic separation of fine-dispersed pulps, selective separation by magnetic properties of the finely dispersed dry magnetic powder mineral mixtures. The technical result is combining of an effective breaking- down of magnetic pudding stones and floccules with a high selectivity of magnetic separation of fine pulps and finely-dispersed dry magnetic powder mineral mixtures. The separator contains a magnet system, which has been made out of permanent magnets capable to rotate with a regulated frequency. The magnet system is made out of three layers of permanent magnets: a central layer - with magnets in the form of rectangular prisms, additional layers - with magnets in the form of the truncated prisms. The separator is also equipped with a lateral separating chamber with a movable gate separating an area of a demagnetization and breaking-down of the magnetic floccules from an area of additional purification and separation with a capability of separation of mineral mixtures both in the form of fine pulps and in a dry state.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a combining of an effective breaking-down of magnetic pudding stones and floccules with a high selectivity of magnetic separation of the fine pulps and finely-dispersed dry magnetic powder mineral mixtures.

SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has adjustable vibration bin for delivery of initial material and external drum made from dielectric material; it is made in form of working member which may be locked in any position relative to magnetic system. Magnetic system consists of external non-magnetic drum and internal drum made from magnetic material and provided with rows of permanent magnet units secured radially on it.

SUBSTANCE: invention is used for processing of unsized material with fineness of up to 250 mm. Drum magnetic separator comprises non-magnet rotary drum, magnetic system installed inside drum, feeder and receiver. Magnet system is made of permanent magnet plates of neodymium-iron-boron, which are assembled in the first quarter of drum in the form of rings with alternating magnetic polarity along drum width. In the second quarter magnetic system is also arranged from permanent magnet plates of neodymium-iron-boron. They are assembled in the form of magnet rows with alternating magnetic polarity in the direction of material movement, with alternating pole pitch from 120 mm to 60 mm and possibility to combine separate plates in blocks.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of large-sized unclassified ore separation process, high selectivity of coarse grain products separation in the first quarter of drum, magnetic transport of coarse and selection of fine ones in the second quarter of drum.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of magnet separation of fine-dispersed materials and fine particles in the form of dry powder. Magnet separator comprises body that consists of settling chamber and regeneration chamber, magnet rods installed inside hollow tubular settling elements with the possibility of reciprocal motion, device for displacement of magnet rods and device for removal of magnet admixtures. Additionally separator contains chamber for preliminary separation of settled magnet admixtures from separated material, which is installed between settling chamber and regeneration chamber. Every section of tubular settling elements located in chamber of preliminary separation is equipped with two helical fixed knives. Initial sections of knives are joined and located on upper surfaces of hollow settling elements in the area of transition of settled magnet admixtures from settling chamber into preliminary separation chamber. Final sections of helical knives are radially turned in different sides relative to initial sections by 90° and are located on side surfaces of hollow settling elements in the area of transition of settled magnet admixtures from chamber of preliminary separation into regeneration chamber.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for removal of ferromagnetic metal particles from granulated loose materials. Magnetic separator comprises body in the form of rotary nonmagnetic drum, two magnetic systems arranged in it with permanent magnets arranged with the possibility to vary intensity of magnetic field developed by them. Drum is equipped with shaft and magnetic systems installed on both sides of shaft with the possibility to vary position relative to side inner surface of drum. Shaft is rigidly connected to body element in the form of frame, two sides of which are perpendicular, and two - parallel to shaft. At the latter there are two yokes installed, in every of which there is a magnetic system fixed, comprising a unit of permanent magnets. Yoke is arranged in the form of sector element with back wall parallel to side surface of drum, and two sides walls, which are perpendicular to axis of drum, each side wall of yoke is equipped with rectangular and round cuts. Guides of square shape are pulled via rectangular cuts with clearance and equipped with limiters in the form of two forks that serve for adjustment of yoke travel relative to side surface of drum and perpendicular to its axis, between back wall and guides of yoke there are cam shafts installed with two eccentrics, which interact with forks of guides. Each cam shaft is installed with the possibility of rotation in two holders, which are rigidly joined to walls of frame, parallel to shaft. Shaft of drum is installed with the possibility of rotation around its axis at the moment of magnetic systems adjustment for their setting into working position. Length of rectangular slot in yoke wall is designed so that angle of cam axis rotation makes 180°.

Proposed magnetic separator comprises magnetic system made up of permanent magnets that can revolve at controlled frequency, and separation chamber. The latter is arranged below magnetic system whereto separated product comes via one of several channels arranged at different distances sideways of said magnetic system. Magnetic product is discharged by water flow directed normally from separation chamber inner surface.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic property separation of materials and may be used for extraction of highly magnetised materials from placer concentrates to be used in mining and lab conditions. Proposed method comprises forcing initial material through magnetic separator with cylindrical work surface with horizontal axis and variable, travelling, magnetic field, displacing flocculated magnetic particles by revolving drum and travelling magnetic field, separating material particles by magnetic forces, adhesion, friction as well as gravity and centrifugal forces into magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions, and discharging separation products. Magnetic fraction is subjected to continuous intensive cleaner flotation in forcing flocculated material along closed circular path over drum surface to separate joints and draw rock particles trapped in magnetic floccules, and periodic discharge of magnetic fraction after eliminating retaining magnetic field.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of magnetic separation and cleaning of highly magnetised impurities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gravity-magnetic separator for flocculation of plankton and bacteria contained in ballast water and to separation of flakes collected by magnetic force. This separator comprises first tank with mixer connected with outboard water feed pipe to mix said water with added flocculating agent and magnetic powder. The latter is fed from appropriate device to make magnetic micro flakes including magnetic powder. Second tank comprises mixer for slower mixing of water whereto polymer flocculating agent is added. This allows the increase in sizes of magnetic micro flakes for processed water discharged from first tank with mixer. Magnetic separator serves to collect increased magnetic flakes by magnetic force. Said processed water is discharged from second tank with mixer and includes increased magnetic flakes. Return and addition device returns collected flakes from magnetic separator by scrapers into outboard water feed pipe to position ahead the first tank with mixer and ahead of position where flocculating agent is added to add collected flakes to outboard water.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of flocculation with no use of chemicals.
