Marble composition for decorating

 

The invention relates to the field of construction, and more particularly to a construction composition used in interior and exterior design of buildings for industrial and civil purposes. Proposed in the composition based on mineral fillers and polymer matrix type plasticizer, a preservative, an anti-coagulant for water dispersion and fixer. As a mineral filler composition contains the following components, wt.%: Marble powder - 35-37 Dolomite powder - 3,5-4,5 crushed Marble - 20-22 quartz Sand - 15-25 as polymer component is proposed to use two variance, wt.%: Polyvinyl dispersion, MDP-50 - 10-12 Dispersion of acrylic-6000 - 3,5-4,5 Suggested preservative for water dispersions of cosid T230, is antiseptic and is added to the composition in an amount of 0.1-0.3%. Apply 25% aqueous ammonia solution and enter it in the amount of 0.06 to 0.08%. As the plasticizer added methylcellulose in an amount of 0.4-0.6%. Described composition for exterior coating has poor impact strength, and also has a low decorative qualities, in addition, in the above part of a large fraction of volatile substances.

In the claimed invention, the aim was to obtain a construction composition having high impact strength, as well as to enhance the decorative qualities and to make the composition more environmentally friendly by reducing the proportion of volatile substances.

This is achieved in that the composition based on mineral fillers, binders based on synthetic latex, preservative, pigment, water introducing more ammonia as a fixing agent, methylcellulose as a plasticizer. As a mineral filler composition contains the following components, wt%:
Marble powder - 35 - 37
Dolomite powder - 3,5 - 4,5
Marble chips - 20 - 22
Quartz sand - 15 - 25
As the polymer component is proposed to use two variance, wt.%:
Polyvinyl dispersion, MDP-50 - 10 - 12
The acrylic dispersion A-6000 - 3,5 - 4,5
Suggested preservative for water dispersions - cocked T230, who introduced it in the amount of 0.06 to 0.08%. As the plasticizer added methylcellulose in an amount of 0.4-0.6%.

The use of a mixture of mineral filler composition gets improved mechanical properties, as well as decorative effect. So silica sand (grain size of up to 0.4 mm), used as an additional filler imparts strength, density, frost resistance. Dolomite powder acts as a filler, which increases the adhesion of the composition. A mixture of marble chips (FR. 0.5-1.0 mm and 2.0-2.5 mm in equal shares) gives the surface relief and creates a luminous effect. 25% aqueous ammonia solution is used as the fixer and hardener. Methyl cellulose is used as a plasticizer, increasing the concentration in the composition of its impact on the mechanical properties. The composition is very plastic and more environmentally friendly than in the prototype, as the number of applied volatiles decreased.

The following table 1 shows specific examples of the compositions, which were used to study their properties.

As can be seen from table 1 in columns 1 and 5 selected quantitative values of the components that go beyond those stated in the formula Isaia.

A specific example of the method of obtaining the proposed composition.

To produce a composition initially, the mixture of liquid components:
dispersion MDP-50 - 9 wt.%, dispersion A - 3 wt.%, preservative - 0.1 wt. %. To the mixture was added mineral fillers, mixing in the following order: marble chips - 18 wt.%, sand - 17 wt.%, marble flour - 32 wt.%, dolomite flour - 3 wt.%. Then type plasticizer - metiltsellyullozu 0.4 wt.%. After stirring the pigment - Bel titanium - 2.5 wt.%, a solution of 25% ammonia - 0,006 wt.% and topped up with water 0.2 wt.%. Finally stirred the entire composition for 10 minutes until a completely homogeneous mixture.

Table 2 shows the mechanical properties of the compositions shown in table 1.

As can be seen from table 2 mechanical and technological properties of the compositions presented in grams. 2, 3, 4 more acceptable as a consumer properties of the compositions. So the impact strength of the proposed composition increased in comparison with the prototype by 15-20%. The composition is more environmentally friendly, because the amount of volatile components decreased by 10%.
