The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the manufacture of truck heads of the fingers by the method of planting with heating by high-frequency currents. The hot upsetting machine includes a housing, restposition drum with matrices, the loading mechanism, the rotary device, fixing device, the heating unit, cooperates with the punch, the ejector, the unloading mechanism and the control system. The heating unit is made in the form of a slotted coil to heat the blanks in their rotation. The control system has three modes of operation. The invention relates to metallurgical production, in particular to hot, with application of high frequency currents, landing heads truck fingers and can be used in mechanical engineering.

A known machine for hot upset heads on long rod parts consisting of a body, a drum with matrices, loading mechanism, a rotary device, fixing device, a heating unit, a hydraulic press with a punch, ejector, heating time, which leads to uneven heating and deterioration of the quality of the parts; secondly, it requires a lot of time for changeover when switching production from one part to another.

Technical result achieved in the claimed invention lies in the quality of the parts, and quick changeover.

This technical result is achieved in that the heating of blanks occurs in a slit inductor during their rotation around its axis, the drum matrices made restposition and control system has three modes of automatic operation.

The loading mechanism consists of an inclined tray 13, the cutter 14 with the power cylinder 15, the prism 16, the axis 17, the adjustable stop 18, the Cabinet 21, transformer 22, the gap of the inductor 23.

The drum contains a stationary shaft 24 on which is mounted two discs 25, connected by tie-rods 26, the disks are inserted clamping units 27, consisting of a matrix 3, the guide 28, the insert 29, the stop 30.

The rotator consists of the grip 31, the power cylinder of rotation of the grip 32, the axis 33, the guide 34, right, 35 and 36 left actuators move the capture.

The unloading mechanism consists of a main power cylinder 37 with a fork 38, swinging around the axis 39 of the auxiliary cylinder 40.

The machine works as follows.

The pieces are loaded onto an inclined chute 13 by the loading mechanism 4. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing portion of heated measure blank in movable die spring-loaded in axial direction and forming thickened portion. Die is mounted with possibility of motion in direction coinciding with that of punch motion. Before forming thickened portion and rod, free heading of the whole blank is performed.
