SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of vehicles. Proposed device comprises gantry, cylindrical brush (7) arranged to be driven up and down and control unit (10). Portal struts are equipped with photocells (11) at gondola car working side and fixed brushes arranged at the angle to direction of car motion and at the height equal to half the its height. Cylindrical brush can revolve over half the car width. Width of fixed brush bristle is larger than the width gondola car board top edge by 5-20 cm. Cylindrical brush is composed of alternating metallic and polypropylene bristles. Note here that bristle length is larger than distance from the point of their attachment to gondola car top end edges by 5-10 cm.
