The composition contains S-fenvalerate as activitiesthese substance and solvent, glycerin, dimethyl sulfoxide, isopropyl alcohol and polyethylene glycol. The composition is highly effective for the treatment and protection of vertebrate animals from parasites.

The invention relates to the field of veterinary Parasitology, in particular insecticidal compositions that can be used to control ticks and/or botflies, affecting vertebrates, such as cattle.

Known, for example, the composition for the treatment of animals from biting and intestinal parasites, including ticks, containing the drug, on the basis of desulfonylation and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Thus it can be used in a mixture with ectoparasiticide, including mixtures with fenvalerate. (EN 2133091, 1999)

However, this composition is expensive, especially taking into account the dosage when using it.

The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is insecticidal paste "Miacid C" containing 3.5 wt.% fenvalerate and auxiliary non-toxic ingredients: polyisobutylene, benzyl alcohol.(EN 210 2070, 1998).

However, the known composition is complex, contains a large amount of the active ingredient, notes and low residual effect.

The present invention is to devise simple and effective composition suitable for the treatment of animals from ticks and horseflies with high residual effect.

The problem is solved by the described composition for the treatment and protection of vertebrate animals from parasites, contains, wt%:

S-fenvalerate - 1 - 3

Dimethyl sulfoxide - 3 - 15

Isopropyl alcohol is 3 - 12

Compounds 1 and 2 were tested on cows infected with mites, species: red steppe and sernapesca.

Part 3 is tested against horseflies during early chemotherapy hypodermatidae cattle.

Experience 1

Experience 3

Evaluated the effectiveness of the proposed composition during early chemotherapy hypodermatidae cattle (larvae subcutaneous gadfly).
