In addition, the disadvantages of this method include: a long time cold air drying the resulting coating of not less than 16 hours; the color limits (the coating of black only); the lack of compatibility of the bitumen coating coating coating that does not allow you to paint this coating alkyd enamels of various colors in accordance with the requirements of the production design. These shortcomings are due to the fact that at normal temperature asphalts are dispassionate dispersion medium, having a high solubility in most organic solvents. Therefore, bitumen coating can be reversible. When applied to them alkyd enamel, for example, white oil component bitumen diffuses into the enamel and paint it black.

There is a method of corrosion protection by coating of bituminous paint BT-177, consisting of bitumen varnish and aluminum powder. Additional bitumen layer protects the surface from exposure to sunlight, which discourages flowing in the coating processes of destruction and, therefore, increases its resistance. As bitumen can be applied bitumen of any origin (natural or derived from petroleum, coal, shale, and peat), unmodified or modified with organic materials: rubber, rubber crumb, vegetable oil, alkyd resin, etc.

As the inorganic pigment, including pigments and fillers, can be used, for example, aluminum powder, minium, zinc white, red iron oxide, powders of copper and bronze, other pigments or mixtures thereof.

As the organic solvent can be applied to ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol and other m the solvent content of inorganic fillers in the composition of the additional layer allows you to bring it to working viscosity, the value of which depends on the method of application (brush, air spray, airless spray, and so on).

The proposed method of corrosion protection is as follows. On the precleaned surface by any known method applied bituminous coating, e.g. bitumen varnish BT-577, then spend the cold air drying of this coating for 5 h, after which the obtained surface by any known method put an extra layer of the above composition, which is subjected to cold air drying within 40-60 minutes the result is a stable and impermeable film, the color of which corresponds used in the composition of the additional layer of an inorganic pigment. After drying, an additional layer of paint alkyd enamel paint of any color in accordance with the existing documentation.

Due to the fact that the additional layer has a high resistance to sunlight, it can be used as a light protection cover.

For the study as an additional layer were selected three composition with different content components (see table 1).

The tests were carried out on samples of the way. Staining of the samples was made with a brush in 3 layers. As a paint material applied to the additional layer, applied alkyd (pentaftalevyh) enamel PF-115 white, yellow and blue colors. In addition, samples were made in which the light shielding coating used an extra layer of composition 3. Schema coatings and their corrosion tests for resistance are presented in table 2.

During the study established that the cold air drying bituminous coating before applying additional layers can be reduced from 16 hours to 5 hours At this cover, painted with alkyd enamel PF-115 in white, yellow and blue colors on the proposed method, after manufacturing has retained its appearance and color unchanged.

The weather resistance of the investigated coatings was determined in accordance with GOST 9.074-77 and GOST 9.407-80. Conducted corrosion tests showed that the samples protected by the proposed method, withstood 15 test cycles without changes. Their resistance is estimated at 1 point that fully complies with the technical requirements of GOST 9.074-77. At the same time, the prototype of the corrosion tests: spirostanol bitumen coating, to reduce drying time, remove restrictions on the color of the asphalt coating and to eliminate its incompatibility with opaque paints that allows you to paint bituminous coating alkyd enamel paint of any color in accordance with the requirements of the production design.

Application of the proposed method of corrosion protection significantly increases the durability of metal, concrete, reinforced concrete and other structures, hydraulic and capacitive structures, warehouses, boats, bridges, pipelines, support contact network, the bottoms of cars, wagons, etc.
