The invention is intended for protection of metal constructions of industrial enterprises operating in aggressive environments, as well as in sea water. The technical result of the invention is to improve the corrosion resistance of the coating in these environments. The composition includes a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinylidenechloride or copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate, butyl acetate, acetone, toluene, and contains p-nitrobenzaldehyde as a corrosion inhibitor. 3 table.

The invention relates to compositions for corrosion, polymer coatings based on copolymers of vinyl chloride and is designed to protect metal structures of industrial enterprises operating in aggressive environments, as well as in sea water.

Known chemically resistant lacquer, comprising, by wt.%: copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate 12,6; chlorodiphenyl 2,5; acetone 22; butyl acetate 10,2; toluene 52,7 (TU-6-10-1115-75 [1]; A. with. The USSR 639908, CL 09 D 5/08, 3/74 [2]).

In addition, the hardness of the film and its bending strength at the proposed composition has a higher performance. The results of the comparative corrosion tests of prototype versions of the proposed compositions, their physico-mechanical characteristics are given in table. 1-3.

The composition for anti-corrosion coatings prepared as follows.

Copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinylidenechloride (vhvd-40, OST 6-01-19-75 [7]) or a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate (a-15, TU 6-01-025-76 [8]) dissolved in a mixture of organic solvents (butyl acetate, acetone, toluene), then add p-nitrobenzaldehyde.

In the proposed composition for corrosion-resistant coating, you can enter a pigment such as iron oxide red (iron III oxide - Fe2ABOUT3).

The composition can be applied by spray, brush, dip.

For conducting corrosion tests were applied to the plates of low carbon structural steel (Article 5) size 150601 mm Before coating, the plates were treated with sandpaper and obezzhirivatel alcohol (according to GOST-380-71 [9]). The coating minorities was aged in air for 10 days. The edges of the samples were isolated bitumen mastic.

Corrosion tests were carried out as follows. The samples coated with the coatings were immersed in 0.1 N. aqueous solution of Na2S04and in 4% aqueous NaCl solution; the exposure time was 2 months. Upon expiration of the test coating was removed and determined the area of the sub pellicle corrosion. Control samples with the applied coating was cured in air with a relative humidity of 100% for 6 months, after which the coating was removed and determined the area of the sub pellicle corrosion.

Conducted corrosion tests showed that the proposed composition can be successfully used to protect metal structures exposed to aggressive environments, as well as steel structures and vessels under the influence of sea water.
