(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to a transport machine building, and is intended for drum-type brakes. Brake pad of a vehicle includes a support rib, to which is rigidly attached to mounting plate with slots and brackets for fixing bolts, and a friction pad. What's new is that the friction pad is made with radially directed projections, the upper front part of which is made at an acute angle to the mounting plate. The mounting plate has a chamfer angle which is equal to the angle of inclination of the surface protrusions. The upper rear portion of the tabs of the friction lining has a rectangular burst, while the lower part is a rectangle. The technical result is to increase the reliability of the fastening of the friction lining and simplifying the design of the pad. 2 Il.

The invention relates to pads of a drum-type brakes.

Known brake pad of a vehicle containing the supporting ribs, to which is rigidly attached to mounting plate with grooves, plate, bearing friction plate and provided with a group of radially directed projections included in the ACC and the tabs of the plates are made with axially curved ends, clamped plate to the mounting plate, the locking means consist of T-shaped brackets with slots for fixing radially directed protrusions, U-shaped brackets for fixing protrusions axially with curved ends and bolts with lock nuts connecting the T-shaped brackets and U-shaped bracket with the supporting ribs of the brake pads.

The disadvantages of the known devices is the low reliability of the mounting plate, the bearing friction pad, because of unreliable fixing protrusions, as in the known device is not provided clamping means, and because of the large number of constructive elements of the brake pad has a complex structure.

The invention is directed to improving the reliability of the brake lining and simplifying the design of the brake pads.

The solution of this problem is achieved by the fact that the brake pad of a vehicle containing the reference edge to which is rigidly attached to mounting plate with slots and brackets for fixing bolts, slip pad, made with radially directed projections, the upper front part of which is maintained at an acute angle to the mounting plate having grooves with a chamfer angle cat is Mogilny tide, the lower part is a rectangle.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bimetallic brake shoe contains cast iron bar made by molding and steel plate from which steel cylindrical inserts pass into cast iron bar which are arranged in two parallel rows. Inserts are made of material whose abrasiveness is higher than material of bar. Steel plate is placed longitudinally under boss and it covers entire surface of rear side of cast iron bar. It contains middle profiled section enclosing cross boss. Extreme cylindrical inserts in rows are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Diameter d of each cylindrical insert is found from formula d=(0.16-0.32) x B where d is diameter of cylindrical insert; B is width of working surface of shoe, and T-areas of working surface of shoe without inserts is calculated by formula T=(5.0-9.2) x t where T is area of working surface; t is sum of working surfaces of inserts.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of shoe, increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency, increased service life of wheels of rolling stock owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe contains cast iron bar on rear side of which boss is arranged containing steel member for wedge-like cotter of shoe holder made in form of shaped section of steel plate enclosing the boss. Hole to pass wedge-like cotter is made in boss. Member is secured on steel plate covering bra from rear side and passing under boss. Found at edges of bar over ends of steel plate are T-shaped cast iron projections for engagement with brake shoe holder. Inserts made of material, abrasiveness differing from abrasiveness of cast iron bar are fitted in body of cast iron bar. Inserts are cylindrical, being arranged on steel plate with embedding into cast iron bar in two groups. Centers of three nearest inserts in each group are equidistant from each other. Groups of inserts are separated by section without inserts, and four extreme cylindrical inserts in groups are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Each group consists of seven insets.

EFFECT: increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency increased service life of wheels owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

Cam (38) has one or several ledges (62, 64) with multiple sections (62A-C, 64A-C) that feature various profiles in axial cross section. SUBSTANCE: friction lining represents a part of cylindrical ring formed by misaligned cylindrical surfaces with parallel rotational axes and has different-thickness ends. Side surface limiting the lining on thin-end side represents two aligned flat surfaces. Side surface limiting the lining on thick-end side represents flat surface not radial to lining outer surface radius. Rotational axes of cylindrical surfaces are located in the plane that does not cross nor contact the lining.

SUBSTANCE: shoe of a brake block comprises the first rib, the second rib, a pad base arranged along circumference on outer sections of the first and second ribs, and fixation of the return spring. Fixation of the return spring is provided by the first rib, with which the return spring of the brake block is connected so that the central line of the return spring is displaced from the axial central line of the pad base and is arranged in the axial direction between the external edge of the central section of the first rib and the external edge of the second end section of the first rib. The drum brake comprises the brake block shoe.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to lining of drum brakes of transport vehicles. Friction lining is made in form of part of cylindrical shell, formed by misaligned cylindrical surfaces with parallel axes of rotation and having different-thickness ends with side surfaces limiting facing from side of thick and thin ends. Each of side surfaces is made in form of two adjacent flat surfaces located at an angle to each other. For each of side surfaces of one of flat surfaces is radial to one of misaligned with cylindrical surfaces of pad, and another flat surface not radial to both misaligned cylindrical surfaces of lining. Flat surface not radial to both misaligned cylindrical surfaces of lining are glossy.

EFFECT: reduced pollution of flat surfaces of pad due to reduction of retention of foreign impurities on said surfaces.
