The invention relates to filled with metal compositions based on epoxy resins intended for repair of metal surfaces, in particular pipelines. Repair composition comprises 100 wt.h. epoxy Dianova resin, 17-19 wt.h. polyoxypropyleneamine mol. weight 700, 14-15 wt. hours of polyoxypropyleneamine brand DA-500, 44-45 wt.h. amine hardener AF-2, 263-408 wt.h. dispersed filler is aluminum or its mixture with stainless steel, 6,6-48 wt.h. silicon dioxide as a rheological additive. The invention relates to compositions based on epoxy resins, namely filled with metal compositions for repairing metal surfaces.

Known compounds of different types on the basis of epoxy resins (ES) for repair of various metal articles:

Rheological additive within these limits prevent the settling of the filling and draining of composition with vertical surfaces.

The composition may contain other additives target, in particular pigments, which do not affect performance, but can be entered to give it color.


Repair composition are well-known components:

- apex - hardener polyoxypropyleneamine YES-500 (TL6-02-1235-82),

- hardener AF-2 is the product of the interaction of formaldehyde, phenol and ethylene diamine (TU 6-05-1663-74).

As filler are used most available and widely used powders of aluminum and stainless steel dispersion of 20-200 microns.

The composition is prepared as follows.

In the mixer of any type suitable for mixing viscous products, loaded the estimated number of ES and 2/3 of the required amount of filler and rheological additives. Similarly prepared amine component with 1/3 of filler and additives. The obtained components are stored in sealed containers.

Before applying the measure 2 parts (weight or volume) filled with epoxy component and 1 part filled with the amine component are mixed and applied with a spatula to place, subject to repair. The time of gelation is not more than 4 hours, the time before the start of operation of 20 hours.

The most important operational characteristic by which to judge the suitability of the composition, is the pressure inside the pipe, while maintaining the integrity of the repaired connection.

The test composition was carried out on pipes with an inner diameter of 50 mm, cordewener to loss of containment. The tests were carried out on the bench for hydraulic tests. The obtained data are presented in the table.

As can be seen from the data given in the table, the repair composition may be recommended for use in the repair of gas pipelines for low and medium pressure, as well as for repairs in the shop and field conditions for elimination of defects of different origin instead of welding, soldering and construction for the oil and gas industry, machinery, technological equipment and in the urban economy.
