The invention relates to medicine, namely to breast cancer diagnosis by ultrasound, and can be used to improve the accuracy and reliability of ultrasonic diagnosis of breast cancer.

The challenge of improving the diagnosis of breast cancer (BC) is extremely important in connection with the steady growth trend of this pathology in women in Russia and around the world, and therefore this issue has acquired social value. In Russia in the incidence of malignant tumors of all sites breast cancer came in first place, making in 1997 18,42%, i.e. in comparison with 1980 increased by 42% (at annual the x neoplasms women every seventh died from breast cancer. While the mortality rate from breast cancer is highest in Russia: in Moscow (21,7) and in St. Petersburg (21,3), while the average rate in the 90-ies in Russia - 14,3 (per 100,000 female population). In St. Petersburg annually about 2,000 new cases of breast cancer. Now at this rate of increase in the incidence of breast cancer predicts the likelihood of breast cancer every 15 women from Saint Petersburg (during life).

To improve the accuracy and reliability of ultrasound diagnosis of breast cancer oxytocin in the specified dosage (1 ml, 5 ED) apply sublingual, once when the preliminary ultrasound certain area of the breast does not it is safe to speak about the possibility of breast cancer and, after the commencement of oxytocin on myoepithelial elements of MF (after 1 minute after application) produce repeated ultrasound spot on breast, doubtful about the possibility of breast cancer. The results of the ultrasound examination of the breast in this way, fixed on the monitor in a variant of "2B", can then be documented in various ways, in particular photography with the subsequent production of photographic prints and slides.

When implementing our method of an ultrasonic diagnostic of breast cancer the use of oxytocin in a dose of 5 IU (1 ml), oral (sublingual), causing a reduction myoepithelial breast cells, allows for an ultrasound with the use of the line is the first diagnosis of breast cancer (compared with the known method ultrasound of the breast without the use of oxytocin) due to: better define the contours of abnormal formations in the breast; signs of infestation (infiltration) education into the surrounding breast tissue; a clearer definition of the internal structure of abnormal formations in the breast and ultrasound phenomenon of "teleopathy" for abnormal area in the breast. When using our method ultrasound breast cancer decreases the possibility of false-positive and false-negative ultrasound diagnosis of breast cancer. Single use of oxytocin has a short duration of action (within 4 minutes), but it is sufficient for the breast ultrasound to diagnose breast cancer.

The above sequence of actions in achieving the objectives of the invention creates the possibility of improving the accuracy and reliability of ultrasonic diagnosis of breast cancer, which is of great clinical significance in breast care and Oncology. Evidence of achievement of the objectives of the invention are given in examples 1, 2, 3.
