Filter has cover and housing accommodating main filtering element with central tube, bypass and antidrain valves, filtering elements of bypass valve and spring. Bypass valve filtering element is made in form of sector installed in main filtering element whose edges are connected with main filtering element, and bypass valve through central tube of main filtering element with outlet to its inner space. Main filtering elements, in each turn, can be formed by additional parallel-flow filtering elements in form of sectors with different fineness of cleaning whose ends are interconnected to form common filtering element. Side arrangement of bypass valve makes it possible to locate its filtering element with required area of filtration in main filtering element which reduces filtration load on main filtering element and increases period of effective cleaning. Provision of bypass valve filtering element in filter and main filtering element playing the part of safety valve makes oil filter reliable means of oil filtering and excludes lack of oil in engine under any operating conditions. Dispensing with separate subassemblies of bypass valve and its filtering element facilitates assembling of oil filter.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cleaning oils on engines of automobiles and other vehicles. Proposed filter has cover. Housing with reinforcement member, filtering element, antidrain valve, sealing rings and spring. Filtering element proper plays part of bypass valve. Said filtering element is sealed by antidrain valve pressed by filter spring from one side of cover end face surface and is in contact with sealing (rubber) ring from other side by end face outer surface of cover, thus providing sealing of connection with oil filter housing. Antidrain valve interacts by its outer sealing edge with inner surface of housing having reduced rubber capacity owing to preload. Facilitated disassembling makes the filter easy to recycle with possibility of repeated use of non-worn out parts. Dispensing with bypass valve as separate unit facilitates assembling of oil filter, reduced its overall dimensions without affecting filtering properties, metal usage, labor input and number of component parts.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for cleaning oil in automobile engines and engines of other vehicles. Proposed filter has housing, cover with reinforcement connected by rolling down. Housing accommodates filtering element, antidrain and bypass valves and spring. Antidrain valve is made in form of cup with flat and cylindrical parts. Flat part provides sealing of end face surface of filtering element and reinforcement, and cylindrical part is made in form of lobe whose sealing edge provided with ring thickening tightly fits to inner surface of cover. Reinforcement is provided with cutouts on periphery to pass oil. Such design precludes passing of oil in cover-reinforcement joint without additional sealing devices and decreases overall dimensions of filter without impairing its filtering properties.
