SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions to prepare biocidally active lacquer coatings. Composition proposed by invention contains nonionic water-dilutable film-forming component in the form of aqueous polymer dispersion, aqueous solution of biocide additive(polyhexamethylene-guanidine), and polymer paste. The latter is prepared from pigment, filler, and dispersing solution containing water, anionic polymeric disperser, nonionic cellulose thickener, emulsifier, and organic solvent, weight ratio of nonionic cellulose thickener to anionic polymeric disperser ranging from 2.0:1.0 to 1.0:2.0. In particular, nonionic cellulose thickener is a hydrocellulose derivative in amount 0.5=1.0%, anionic polymeric disperser is represented by sodium and ammonium salts of polycarboxylic acids (0.17-0.55%), and anionic polymeric disperser is sodium polyphosphate.

The coating composition comprises the following components, wt.-%: epoxy-rubber adduct, 15-36; low-molecular epoxide resin, 10-18; surfactant, 0.5-0.65; biocide additive, 0.1-0.4; accessory substances, 0.1-0.8, and water, the balance. Epoxy-rubber adduct is prepared by co-condensation of epoxide resin and liquid nitrile rubber by functional groups, and 2.0-10.0 weight p. p. of hardening agent is taken per 100 weight p. p. of abovementioned composition. The composition can comprise additionally pigments and/or filling agent. Invention provides enhancing stability of covers against effect of petroleum products, acids, bases and gaseous oxides in simultaneous expanding functional possibilities for their using based on increasing the temperature range in applying on surfaces to be protected. Proposed composition is used in building in carrying out works associated with protection of metal, concrete, ferroconcrete and other surfaces against effect of corrosive environment for aims of priming and preparing protective-decorative covers.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to obtaining coatings with disinfectant properties, meant for sanitising premises, equipment, preservation and disinfection of water, including drinking water. The method involves the following. First, a derivative of polyhexamethyleneguanidine is obtained in the form of a base or hydrophobic salt, for example, an oleate from polyhexamethyleneguanidine chloride. Further, a solution of the obtained derivative of polyhexamethyleneguanidine is prepared in water or organic solvent and a solution of hydrophobic film-forming polymer from a series of chlorosulfonated polyethylene, polytrichlorobutadiene in an organic solvent. The obtained solutions are mixed with formation of a film-forming interpolymer with defined ratios and concentration of the solutions. The film-forming interpolymer is deposited onto a prepared surface in form of a coating of at least three layers, and possibly in form of a composition with target additives. Each layer is dried in air and then undergoes final hardening. The hardened interpolymer (coating) should have mass ratios of the derivative of polyhexamethyleneguanidine and the hydrophobic polymer in the range of 7.5-45.0 and 55.0-92.5 respectively. An alternative to the method is depositing a coating of a film-forming interpolymer, also obtained by combining a derivative of polyhexamethyleneguanidine, possibly in form of a solution, with an epoxide compound, possibly combined with a hardener, and also possibly in form of a composition with target additives. After hardening of such a coating, the mass ratio of the derivative of polyhexamethyleneguanidine and the epoxide resin should be in the range of 32-34 and 66-68 respectively.

EFFECT: method allows for effective disinfection of premises, equipment, as well as decontamination of water using a non-toxic substance with prolonged effect.
