Tool for general washing of the gastrointestinal tract

(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to medicine, namely to funds for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract. The invention consists in that the means for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract polyethyleneglycol mol. m 3000-5000 contains sodium sulfate (anhydrous), sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and distilled water at a certain content of ingredients. The invention provides a high degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon when conducting highly informative colonoscopy or surgery, causes due to the lack of effect of the absorption maximum filling of the gastrointestinal tract of a patient in the absence of foaming, and also has high organoleptic properties, good tolerability and comfort of the treatment.

The invention relates to medicine, namely to funds for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract, including during the preparation of the patient for surgical intervention and diagnostic studies of the colon.

It is known tool for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract on arid and distilled water (see RF patent N 2111741, IPC a 61 K 9/08, 1994 ).

However, the known tool for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract has an insufficient degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon before a highly informative colonoscopy or surgery. In addition, a well-known tool is inadequate filling of the gastrointestinal tract of the patient, has a foaming effect, has a low organoleptic properties and lack of portability and comfort of the treatment.

The basis of the invention is the creation of funds for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract, devoid of the above disadvantages and which has a high degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon to conduct highly informative colonoscopy or surgery that causes due to the lack of effect of the absorption maximum filling of the gastrointestinal tract of a patient in the absence of foaming, as well as having high organoleptic properties, good tolerability and comfort of the treatment.

The problem is solved in that in the proposed tool for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract nachlorid and distilled water, a distinctive feature is that the polyethylene glycol is selected with a molecular weight in the range 3000 - 5000 in the following ratio of components (g/l):

Polyethylene glycol (mol. m 3000 - 5000 - 60 - 120

Sodium sulfate (anhydrous) - 1 - 6

Sodium bicarbonate - 1 - 5

Sodium chloride is 0.5 - 3

Potassium chloride - 0,8 - 2

Distilled water Up to 1 l

During long-term experimental practice and subsequent clinical evaluation, including the results of the colonoscopy, it was found that using all the hallmarks created a tool for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract with a high degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon to conduct highly informative colonoscopy or surgery that causes the maximum filling of the gastrointestinal tract of the patient due to the absence of suction in the absence of foaming with high organoleptic properties, good tolerability and comfort of the treatment. At the same time it was found that the product has a combination of intactness against intestinal microflora with no penetration through the intestinal epithelium cannavan on the leaching of its contents when passing the solution proposed facilities due to irritation baroretseptorov and strengthen peristalsis.

In the process of clinical assessment and proposed remedies on the results of the colonoscopy, it was found that for full mechanical treatment of the gastrointestinal tract is sufficient to receive 1.5 - 2.0 l of solution. Preparation of proposed funds for General washing of the gastrointestinal tract does not require the use of sophisticated technological equipment and can be done in the hospital.

Example 1. Patient K. , 38 years old, weight 68 kg In the process of preparing the patient for surgery extensive colon resection for General washing his gastro-intestinal tract was developed by means of the following composition: polyethylene glycol 5000 in the amount of 60 g/l, sodium sulfate (anhydrous) in an amount of 6 g/l, sodium bicarbonate in an amount of 5 g/l, sodium chloride in the amount of 0.5 g/l potassium chloride in the amount of 2 g/l, distilled water - the rest is up to 1 litre. Was achieved a high degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon and installed a minimal impact tools on the gastrointestinal tract, high organoleptic properties, good tolerability and comfort of the treatment. At the same time it was found that used the tool have the muscle wall.

Example 2. Patient D., 64 years old, weight 72 kg In the process of preparation of the patient for diagnostic colonoscopy for General washing her gastrointestinal tract was developed by means of the following composition: polyethylene glycol 3000 in the amount of 120 g/l, sodium sulfate (anhydrous) in an amount of 1 g/l sodium bicarbonate in the amount of 1 g/l, sodium chloride in an amount of 3 g/l potassium chloride in the amount of 0.8 g/l, distilled water - the rest is up to 1 litre. Was determined with a high degree of mechanical cleaning of the colon and installed a minimal impact tools on the gastrointestinal tract, high organoleptic properties, good tolerability and comfort of the treatment. At the same time it was found that the medium used showed the combination of intactness against intestinal microflora with no penetration through the epithelium of the intestinal wall.

Tool for General primewave gastrointestinal tract polyethyleneglycol containing sodium sulfate (anhydrous), sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and distilled water, characterized in that the glycol is selected with a molecular weight in the range 3000 - 5000 when NY) - 1-6

Sodium bicarbonate - 1-5

Sodium chloride is 0.5 - 3

Potassium chloride - 0,8-2

Distilled water Up to 1 l
