Artificial eye (options)

(57) Abstract:

Artificial eyes for stuffed animals, contains simulating the visible part of the eye transparent lenticular body coated on its rear surface color of the iris of the eye, which is a continuation of the transparent lenticular body. The pupil is made in the form of the isthmus connecting the transparent lenticular body with eye bottom. The fundus of the eye is made in the form of a closed body, the amount of which in the direction coinciding with the direction of the optical axis of the transparent lenticular body, larger than the latter in the same direction. Artificial eye according to the second variant is made with transparent lenticular body in shape close to the shape of a ball and/or ellipsoid, with the diameter of the ball or the length of one of the axes of the ellipsoid larger than the maximum size of the transparent lenticular body. Artificial eye has a deep and reflective effect. 11 C.p. f-crystals, 3 ill.

The invention relates to artificial eyes for stuffed animals and can also be used in toys and dummies.

Known artificial eyes for animals and dolls made of plastic material with a pattern is and is not the degree of similarity with the living.

The closest to the technical nature of the claimed invention is an artificial eye comprising a transparent lens-shaped body with applied back color of the iris and the pupil (see patent FR 2129535, 1972).

A disadvantage of the known eye is also not a sufficient degree of similarity with the living eye.

Task to be solved by the present invention is directed, is an approximation of the degree of similarity of the artificial eye with the living eye.

Technical result achieved in the implementation of this invention is to create eyes with the depth and having a reflective effect.

This technical result is achieved by the fact that the artificial eye, containing simulating the visible part of the eye transparent lenticular body coated on its rear surface by painting the iris and the pupil, and according to the invention of artificial eyes are made with a transparent eye bottom, which is a continuation of the transparent lenticular body, the pupil is made in the form of the isthmus connecting the transparent lenticular body with eye bottom. The fundus of the eye is made in the form of a closed body, the size of which is last in the same direction, and the size of the fundus in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis is larger than the isthmus in the same direction. On the external surface of the fundus caused the paint of any color, except black. The fundus of the eye can be performed also with the back in the shape of spherical or elliptical segment facing concave surface to the isthmus. Transparent lenticular body and the fundus of the eye can be made in a single piece.

This technical result in another embodiment, the artificial eye is due to the fact that simulates the visible part of the eye transparent lenticular body is made in the shape close to the shape of a ball and/or ellipsoid with the diameter of the ball or the length of one of the axes of the ellipsoid greater than the maximum size of the transparent lenticular body, and the invisible part of the eye caused coloration.

In a transparent lenticular body may be made annular slot, which divides it into two unequal parts, and forming the isthmus.

Coloring for any option can be any color, except black. The isthmus may be performed with a cross-section in the shape of a circle, oval or slit-like shape. The isthmus may be located simmen artificial eyes for the first option.

In Fig. 2 shows the artificial eye in the first embodiment with another form of the fundus.

In Fig. 3 depicts an embodiment of an artificial eye for the second option.

Artificial eye in the first embodiment includes simulating the visible part of the eye transparent lenticular body 1 coated on the rear surface color of the iris 2. Artificial eyes are made with a transparent eye bottom 3, which is a continuation of the transparent lenticular body 1. The pupil is made in the form of isthmus 4 connecting the transparent lenticular body 1 with eye bottom 3. The fundus of the eye 3 is made in the form of a closed body. The size H of the fundus 3 in the direction coinciding with the direction of the optical axis of the transparent lenticular body 1, more size h of the latter in the same direction. The size L of the fundus 3 in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis more than the size l of the neck 4 in the same direction. On the external surface of the fundus 3 applied coating. The color can be any color depending on the animal species except black. The fundus of the eye 3 can be performed with the back in the shape of spherical or elliptical segment facing concave surface to the neck 4. Prozrachnoi the isthmus 4.

Artificial eye according to the second variant contains simulating the visible part of the eye transparent lenticular body 1 in the shape close to the shape of a ball and/or ellipsoid. Ball diameter D or the length of one axis of the ellipsoid is greater than the maximum size of a transparent lenticular body 1. On the invisible part of the eye caused the paint of any color, except black. In a transparent lenticular body 1 can be made annular groove 5, which divides it into two unequal parts, and forming an isthmus 4.

For any of the variants of the neck 4 can be made with a cross-section in the shape of a circle, oval or slit-like shape, or form. The neck 4 can be located symmetrically about the optical axis of the lenticular body or to be shifted relative to the latter.

Artificial eye according to the second variant mimics the animal's eyes at night.

When illuminated eyes light passes through the transparent lenticular body 1, a neck 4 and into the fundus of the eye 3, reflected from its surface, which leads to the creation of a reflective effect and depth of the eyes.

SUBSTANCE: device is manufactured as monolith disk-shaped diaphragm from flexible material. It has optical and haptic part. The haptic one has colored ring having internal diameter of 3.0-4.5 mm and external diameter of 9.0-10.0 mm, and supporting arc-shaped closed members as vertices of a figure symmetrically or asymmetrically arranged relative to pentagonal star rotation axis within a circle of 11.0-13.5 mm large diameter. To make point touch with surrounding tissues, the supporting members have rounded or sharp ends. Method involves applying the supporting members of haptic part for fixing iridolenticular diaphragm depending on whether lens bursa, capsule or iris residues are available or unavailable in the eye. The iridolenticular diaphragm is implanted via small tunnel incision in the cornea or sclera. Capsule bursa residue being available in the eye, supporting members of the iridolenticular diaphragm under implantation are leaned against the residues without additionally fixing them with sutures and thrust into the ciliary sulcus. Iris residues being available in meridians, closed ends of the iridolenticular diaphragm haptic part supporting members are preliminarily cut off and the supporting members are fixed in the meridians immediately to the iris in clips-like manner. No iris residues being available, the members are additionally sutured to sclera in one or two points. Intact capsule bursa being available, iridolenticular diaphragm is implanted after having completely cut-off the supporting members of the haptic part. Complete or partial lack of capsule or iris support being the case, iridolenticular diaphragm is implanted with suture fixation to sclera being used after having in advance built three sclera pockets in meridians corresponding to the supporting members arrangement in the haptic part of the iridolenticular diaphragm.

EFFECT: stable position and reliable diaphragm fixation; reduced risk of pre- and postoperative complications.
