Method of finishing leather for garment

 

(57) Abstract:

The method refers to the leather industry and can be used in the formulation of skins for clothing from the skins of cattle. The method includes securing the flesh side of the leather with an aqueous solution of casein, a two-fold application of the coloring composition containing casein pigment concentrate, a wax emulsion and water. The method is carried out with an intermediate pressing, breakdown of the skin in the drum, stretched on the frame of the dryer and pressing. Then carry out the application of water-based compositions containing the polyurethane dispersion, the dispersion of a copolymer of methyl acrylate, butyl acrylate and methacrylic acid in a ratio of 62 : 35 : 3, wax emulsion, casein and water, and the bucket, and finally pressing. The method improves skin quality and to expand the range of skins for clothing from the skins of cattle. table 2.

The closest analogue of the proposed technical solution is the method of finishing leather for clothing from the skins of cattle, including a breakdown of the skin in the drum, stretched on the frame of the dryer, causing water emulsion composition containing a polyurethane dispersion, a double application of the dye composition with an intermediate compaction, consolidation and final pressing. The disadvantage of this method is that it allows you to get a skin for clothing with high strength properties.

The technical result of the invention is to improve the quality and expand the range of skins for clothing from the skins of cattle.

This result is achieved in that in the method of finishing leather for clothing, including a breakdown of the skin in the drum, stretched on the frame of the dryer, causing the water-based composition, the content of the stipulation and final pressing, before the breakdown in the drum additionally produce the consolidation of the flesh side of the skin 10% aqueous solution of casein, followed by a twofold application of the coloring composition of the following composition, wt.%:

Casein (10%) - 50,0-70,0

Pigment concentrate - 8,0-12,0

Wax emulsion (20%) - 3,0-5,0

and after stretching the skin more pressed followed by the application of water-based composition of the following composition, wt.%:

Polyurethane dispersion (35%) - 15,0-20,0

A distinctive feature of the proposed method is that an additional fixing of the flesh side of the leather with an aqueous solution of casein and double coating of coloring compositions of the claimed composition prior to breakdown of the skin in the drum, as well as conducting coating emulsion composition, which further added casein, and secure after pressing, allow you to get clothes skin with high performance and attractive appearance and, obtained by standard methods from the skins of cattle, on the unit map is applied aqueous solution of casein of the following composition, wt.%: casein (10%) - 50,0, water - 50,0, then on the facial skin surface twice with intermediate pressing cause coloring composition of the following composition, wt.%: casein (10%) 50,0-70,0 pigment concentrate 8,0-12,0, wax emulsion (20%) 3,0-5,0 and water the rest. Then the skin is subjected to a breakdown in the drum for 4 to 24 h, the stretch on the frame of the dryer and pressing. After this is applied to the skin water-based composition of the following composition, wt.%: polyurethane dispersion (35%) 15,0-20,0, the variance of BMP-C (40%) 15,0-20,0, wax emulsion (20%) 2,0-4,0, casein (10%) 4,0-6,0 and water the rest, then skin fix and finally pressed.

Coloring and water emulsion composition is prepared by the sequential mixing of these components in the stated proportions.

Various formulations of the compositions for implementing the method are given in table 1.

FIELD: leather industry.

SUBSTANCE: semifinished product is degreased, neutralized, dyed, and lubricated. Dyeing is performed in two washing-interrupted steps with anionic black dye consumed in amount 0.5-0.6% of the weight of semifinished product in each dyeing step. Lubrication is followed by retannage with chrome tanner in amount 0.6-1.0% of the weight of semifinished product (calculated for chromium oxide) and treatment with 0.8-1.0% of spindle oil.

EFFECT: achieved deep black color and high performance characteristics.
