SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of preparing polyphosphates of organic compounds, to mixture of polyphosphates of organic nitrogenous bases, and to use of polyphosphates and mixture of polyphosphates as fire retardants for plastics, preferably thermoplastics and, more particularly, polyamides and polyesters.
