(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to veterinary antibiotics from vegetable raw materials. As such funds are encouraged to use the products of mustard seed: the husk, meal, mustard powder, bran. The composition of these products include isothiocyanates. The use of products of processing of mustard seed as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent provides high efficiency of treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. The proposed tool is available and relatively cheap. table 2.

The invention relates to veterinary products based on substances that are produced by microorganisms, plants and animals, have an antimicrobial effect.

Currently there are a number of antibiotics used in animal husbandry for the prevention and treatment of various diseases of farm animals (I. Petrukhin Century, feeds and Feed additives. The Handbook. - M. : Rosagropromizdat, 1989, S. 346-367).

The objective of the invention is to expand the range of products derived from plant materials, which include natural substances with antibiotic properties, effective, accessible and relatively cheap.

This problem is solved by the fact that this drug is suggested to use the husk, meal, bran powder, which are products of the refining of mustard seeds in obtaining food mustard oil (Leadership in technology for production and processing of vegetable oils and fats. - L., VNIIG, T. 1, kN. 1, 1975, S. 568-584).

Mustard seeds belong to the FAM. cruciferous and contain in their tissues mustard oil glycoside - sinigrin, as well as enzyme - thioglucosidase, which in the presence of water promotes the cleavage of the glycoside, resulting in outstanding SV is at - allegorico oil (C3H5NCS), which is contained in the products of mustard seed.

In the food processing mustard seed content allegorical oil is within, including: in-shuck - 0,2-0,3%; cake - 0,9-1,1%; mustard powder - 0,8-1,2%; screenings - 0,8-1,1%.

Allegorico oil inhibited the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli at a concentration of 1.5 - 15 μg/ml of Mycobacterium tuberkulosis - 1 µg/ml, and Plasmodiophora brassicae and Colletotricum circmans at a concentration of from 10 to 100 µg/ml (C. The stated proposal differs from the known fact that the product refining of mustard seed is proposed to use as a tool for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in farm animals and poultry.
