(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to methods for the care and protection of the skin of humans and animals and can be used in medical practice. Plant extract, regenerating skin cells, obtained when pressing bark in a weak alkaline medium at a temperature of from 10 to 50oC and a pressure of from 5103up to 2104PA. The invention allows to obtain an effective and inexpensive extract. table 1.

The invention relates to methods for the care and protection of the skin of humans and animals.

The closest in technical essence to the claimed is a method of obtaining a plant extract of the bark of trees, with the ability to regenerate skin cells [1], containing

- obtaining a plant extract from the bark of trees by extraction with ethanol at a temperature of 0-50oC;

filtering the obtained extract;

- bringing the concentration of extractives to 0.01-0.1% (by weight) dilution of the extract with ethanol.

The disadvantages of this method:

- change the biological activity of extractable substances in the extraction process;

- the need to use costly extracting Metelkova of the extract.

This task is achieved in that in the method of obtaining a plant extract, regenerating skin cells, the extraction was carried out with a solvent, obtained by pressing of birch bark in a slightly alkaline environment.

A study of the level of technology found that methods of obtaining plant extract, regenerating skin cells, by solvent extraction, obtained by pressing of birch bark in a slightly alkaline environment is not found.

A known method of obtaining a plant extract [1] containing the extraction 70-90% by weight of ethanol from the bark of trees at a temperature of 0-50oC followed by filtration of the extract and increase its concentration by ethanol extractable substance to 0.01-0.1% (by weight).

However, comparison of the properties of the combination of features of the known method and the proposed show that:

in the known method is used as a solvent 70-96% (by mass) ethanol, and the offer of a solvent obtained by pressing bark;

in the known method, the solvent used without additives and in the proposed pH of the solvent 7,4-7,8.

From an existing medical practice is widely known to use drugs on hoistway have extracts from beets, rose petal, oak bark. This effect is due to the presence of some plant pectin, close to carbohydrates, but unlike them having an acid character. Pectic acid in the tissue of plants are present in the form of their calcium salts. First pectins and products of their hydrolysis (arabinose, galactose, dextrose) found in red beet, has long been used as a cheap "blush".

However, the alcoholic extract of plant materials contain pectin as such (pectins in ethanol, not soluble), and actinopodidae substances, soluble in ethanol, and are deprived of many good for the skin ingredients vegetable raw materials. Therefore, the ethanol plant extracts are often complementary surface-active and biologically active substances, until preparations isolated from the blood and organs of humans and animals.

Fiber plants also contains a resinous substance (dry distillation without air resinous substances form tar), which has antiseptic properties (first of all, resorcinol).

Regenerating skin extract contains amino sugar that is included in the composition of antibiotics, which makes it antiseptics what's alkalis (caustic soda concentration less than 4%) cellulose initially swells, and then collapses to her 15% of the contents (by mass). While cellulose is hydrolyzed, and when rubbing "saharienne" cell wall give compound with the alcohol groups with a jelly-like consistency, and some of the cellulose is hydrolyzed to ethanol. Such solvent includes almost all biologically active compounds included in the cellulose of plants.

With the aim of preserving the positive characteristics of plant extract, we used the method of compression fiber at low temperatures (from 10 to 50oC) and pressures (from 5103up to 2104PA) in the presence of a weak aqueous solution of ammonia (pH between 7.4 and 7.8). In the matrix of the press laid the crop, and on the plane of the punch strengthened filter paper (blue ribbon, barite filter).

Extract (dry matter content of up to 0.05%) was tested for its ability to regenerate skin of animals, which had the wound healing after skin diseases) (see table).

Through chechevichka in our experiments, we selected biologically active substances bark in the form of a jelly-like resin mass.

The choice of birch bark as herbal raw material to extract caused not only by the characteristics of birch bark, containing up to 25% pentosans, but also by the fact that the bark is like a dispenser of biologically active substances (through chechevichka) while maintaining them in mass (elm for moisture and gas almost impenetrable).

This leads to the practical application of healing bandages, such as insoles medical shoes. That is, in the case of direct prolonged contact with regenerated or protected skin of humans and animals. When applying by dressing as a liner in the plaster guard the skin in the first place is due to the antiseptic properties of the liner. In case of application of the treating insole defining healing properties factor is the pressure of a person on the insole. The proposed method can be applied in any medical laboratory, which is the pressure of operating at low pressures.

Therefore, the proposed method meets the criterion of "industrial applicability".
