(57) Abstract:

Usage: in insulating technology, particularly relates to insulating shells with actuator shielding effect. The invention is directed to creating a fire-resistant shielding shell, lightweight and supple with improved electrical, mechanical and thermal characteristics, is resistant to an open flame, high temperatures up to +600oC, acids, petroleum products, organic solvents, microbiological influences. The inventive insulating shell made of a different composition of yarns twisted between them, one of the threads made of arimidex fiber and is a reinforcing base, and the second in the form of metal thread and represents the shielding element. As the shielding element is a metal wire with coating or without it. Reinforcing the Foundation can be made in the form of a bundle of at least two arimidex yarns, twisted among themselves, or contains multiple pairs of twisted together strands from arimidex fiber and metal fiber, with a pair woven into the ribbon or fabric. 4 C.p. m shielding effect.

Known for lightweight, flexible metal braid shielding for transactions with outdoor wicker design that protects the wiring from lightning strikes and electromagnetic interference (see PCT application WO 9609630A1from 05.09.95 g, class H 01 11/06).

However, the known braid is quite heavy and stiff, which limits its scope. Closest to the claimed object is a wrapper for the protection of cables against mechanical and thermal effects and the method of its manufacture, are described in the patent FR N 2708781 AND1from 30.07.93 g, class H 01 7/18.

In this known patent thread casings are produced by twisting of synthetic aramid fibers and organic fibers made of carbon compounds and oxygen.

And the organic fibers comprise a large portion of stranded filaments of the sheath. Protection of cables and cable harnesses from mechanical and thermal effects of multi-layered filament wound in the form of a shell directly on the cable or cable harness.

The disadvantage of this known membrane is the fact that organic fibers including aramid, when exposed to an open flame and high temperatures from + 250oC dissolved emitting smoke the th and elastic with high electrical insulation, mechanical and thermal characteristics. Resistant to open flame, high temperatures up to + 600oC, acids, petroleum products, organic solvents, microbiological influences.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the shell is made of different composition curled between threads, one thread made of arimidex fiber and is reinforcing base. The second is made in the form of metal thread and is a shielding element in the form of a metallic wire.

Reinforcing the Foundation can be made in the form of a bundle of at least two arimidex threads twisted together.

The shell can contain multiple pairs of twisted together strands from arimidex fiber and metal fiber, with a pair woven into the tape. A couple of threads can be woven into the fabric.

This embodiment extends the application of the shell.

Further disclosed in the description, as an example, one way of obtaining arimidex fiber.

Example. In a reactor equipped with a stirrer and a thermostatic jacket, load the solution of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether in dimethylacetamide. Sato dry dianhydride pyromellitic acid. In the reaction of polycondensation obtain a viscous solution of polyamidation with a concentration of 12.8 wt.% and the dynamic viscosity of a solution of 42.5 Pas.

After filtration and deaeration under vacuum solution Polynicotinate formed into water-dimethylacetamide the precipitation bath through a die plate having 100 holes with a hole diameter of 0.08 mm, Then freshly formed thread is subjected plastification drawing in air at 20oC in 2.5 times. An elongated filament is washed with demineralized water and treated with phosphoric acid. Then the thread is dried at 50oC in vacuum and subjected to heat treatment, continuously passing through a heated tube with an inert atmosphere, the temperature at the inlet of the tube 286oC, at the output of 550oC. Tension when processing 8 CN/Tex, the passing speed of 20 m/min (metric threads are shown in the table).

Experimentally proved, that arimide fiber retains its strength characteristics at temperatures in the range from 240oC to + 600oC.

In the present invention the thread arimidex fiber is a reinforcing base. To create a shielding effect of reinforcing the basis of twists of metal wire.

The means in the filament wire of 0.05 mm with tin coating to a thickness of 0,015 - 0,020 mm to produce flatting machine.

The thread of arimidex fiber, twisted metal wire, is lightweight, flexible, elastic shell element having a shielding effect.

For protection of long products (wire or cable), it is wound on the wire or cable in the form of a shell to protect it, while not significant by weight. Moreover, the wires and strands comprising the cable, can be isolated individually and then in combination.

The shell may be made in the form of a bundle of at least two arimidex threads.

This embodiment enhances the mechanical and thermal characteristics.

Shell made in the form of a tape or fabric, woven from filaments having a shielding effect.

This embodiment of the shell is expanding the technological capabilities of its application.

Protect insulation shell lightweight, flexible, heat is the materials.

You can find application in aerospace, shipbuilding, electronic engineering, explosive industries.
