The invention relates to the field of underground construction, namely, the tunneling shields, and can be used in the construction of tunnels for various purposes in areas with different kinds of soil. The technical result is to increase operational reliability and performance of the shield when working in areas with different kinds of soil. Tunnel shield includes a partition separating the bottom zone and the area to the employees, the working body for the production of ground, a loading conveyor and a material handler with cavities for soil, made in the form of a stationary cylindrical drum, the bases of which are at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the shield, and the cavity formed by the blades of the impeller, mounted on the shaft with the drive. The problem is solved due to the fact that in the tunneling shield, comprising: a housing; a working body for a sample of the soil; a loading conveyor; a partition separating the bottom zone and a zone for personnel; material handler with cavities for soil, made in the form of a stationary cylindrical drum, the bases of which are at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the shield, and the upper base of the drum is made of zag shaft with the drive and between each blade of the impeller and the inner lateral surface of the drum and the inner surfaces of the upper and lower bases of the drum placed elastic sealing elements.

Conducted by the applicant's analysis of the prior art, including searching by the patent and scientific and technical information sources and identifying signs containing information about the equivalents of the claimed invention, has allowed to establish that the applicant is not detected analogues characterized by signs, identical to all the essential features of the claimed invention, and the definition from the list of identified unique prototype, as the most similar set of features, has allowed to identify a set of essential towards perceived by the applicant result of the distinctive features in the claimed object set forth in the claims. Therefore, the claimed invention meets the requirement of "novelty" in the existing legislation.
