The invention relates to a method of processing slag melting of aluminium and its alloys, as well as technologies for the production of building materials and inorganic substances, in particular to a technology for production of basic aluminum chloride. In the method for processing of aluminium-containing wastes, including aluminum nitride, by washing slag with water to remove soluble salts of metals, water washing is carried out by adding hydrochloric acid based obtain a pH of the final solution in the range of 6.5-7.5. Task: improvement of ecological conditions of production at wash water aluminium slag melting of aluminium and its alloys, simplifying residue obtained solution of metal chlorides, as well as providing the possibility to use it for regeneration of cation filters.
