The invention relates to sorption technique and can be used for air purification from toxic impurities in the means of respiratory protection, industrial adsorbers, etc.

A method of obtaining sorbent-catalyst by impregnation of the particles of activated carbon, the solution is Gaulle: impregnating solution 1: 1,0 - 1.5 and heat treatment at 105oC (U.S. Pat. USA N 4802898, class B 01 D 53/04, 1983).

The disadvantage of this method is the low dynamic activity of the sorbent by plagiosauroidea substances.

The closest in technical essence and the achieved results is a method for sorbent-catalyst, comprising impregnating activated carbon with a solution of catalytic additives with a subsequent heat treatment, characterized in that as an impregnating solution take ammonia solution containing 8 to 16 wt.% carbon dioxide, 10 to 25 wt.% lupranate copper, 2.0 to 5.0 wt. % chromium with a ratio of coal:impregnating a solution of 1:0.5 and 0.9, and heat treatment is carried out in the furnace fluidized-bed at 155 - 190oC.

(U.S. Pat. EN N 2083274, class B 01 J 20/20, C 01 B 31/08, 1997).

The disadvantage of the prototype is a low dynamic activity of the sorbent by plagiosauroidea substances.

The task of the invention to provide a sorbent with high dynamic activity plagiosauroidea substances.

This object is achieved by the proposed method, including the processing of activated carbon impregnation with a solution containing compounds of copper and chromium, with a subsequent heat treatment, Prta sodium in the ratio (wt.) sodium salt:salt copper 1:1,9-2,3, washing the resulting precipitate and dissolving it in an ammonia solution of 5 - 20 wt.% of ammonium carbonate, while the heat treatment is carried out gas-air mixture at 130 - 200oC.

Of scientific and technical literature not known to the authors way of sorbent-catalyst-impregnated activated carbon with a solution obtained by dissolving copper sulfate and sodium carbonate in water, followed by separation of the precipitate and dissolving it in ammoniacal solution of ammonium carbonate.

The essence of the method consists in the following.

Absorption plagiosauroidea substances (like CYANOGEN, hydrocyanic acid, and so on) occurs by catalytic transformation of their additives, is applied to the surface of the coal. The catalyst activity by toxic impurities is determined by the rate of chemical reaction on the surface of the sorbent-catalyst, which in turn, is associated with the magnitude of the reaction surface, which depends on the uniformity of distribution of the applied complexes in the corner. The maximum efficiency for the uniform distribution of catalytic additives in the sorbent is achieved by impregnation of the latter ammonium carbonate complexes of metals with subsequent the sequence of preparation of the impregnating solution and the temperature, the optimum ratio of reactants and the heat treatment parameters.

The method is as follows.

In a separate reactor heated to prepare a solution of copper sulphate by dissolving 95-115 kg CuSO45H2O 100 - 120 l of water with stirring and heated to 30 - 80oC to dissolve the reagent. In a separate bowl prepare a solution of sodium carbonate (soda) at the rate of 50 kg of soda at 50 - 80 l of water. Then the soda solution slowly with stirring into a solution of copper sulphate, stirring is continued for 1 to 3 hours to complete cessation of carbon dioxide emissions. Next, the slurry is drained on a suction filter, separating the precipitate, which is then washed with water until the absence of ion SO4-2(by reaction with barium chloride). The precipitate is transferred into the reactor, pour 120 - 200 l ammonia solution of 5 - 20 wt.% the ammonium carbonate when heated to 60oC. After dissolution of the precipitate is injected compounds hexavalent chromium such as chromic anhydride).

Take an active coal with a grain size from 0.1 to 5.0 mm, the total pore volume 0.70 to 1.0 cm3/g and place it in an impregnating machine, then under stirring served impregnating solution at objemnee then hold heat treatment of gas-air mixture at 130 - 200oC.

As the gas mixture used products of combustion of natural gas in mixture with air.

The finished product is unloaded in a sealed container and analyze. The resulting sorbent-catalyst has high dynamic activity harzianum.

Example 1.

Prepare an impregnating solution as follows. In 100 l of water dissolve 95 kg CuSO45H2O under stirring and heated to 30oC. In another vessel dissolve 50 kg soda in 50 l of water and then slowly poured into a solution of copper sulphate with stirring for 1 to 3 hours to complete cessation of carbon dioxide emissions. Next, the slurry is drained on a suction filter, the precipitate is separated, washed until no sulfate ion. The precipitate is transferred into the reactor, pour 150 liters of ammonia solution 10% ammonium carbonate when heated to 60oC and add 30 kg chromium trioxide. Take 300 kg of active carbon with a total porosity of 0.80 cm3/g, a grain size of 0.8 - 2.0 mm, and placed in an impregnating machine, which then serves the prepared solution in the ratio of 75 l of solution per 100 kg of charcoal, stirred for 10 min and discharged into the hopper in front of the furnace "fluidized bed". Next, the dried coal in the furnace pevnosti on Gloriana.

Definition of dynamic activity harzianum spend on a dynamic instrument under the following test conditions: concentration of vapors CYANOGEN 5 mg/l; the height of the layer of sorbent 3.5 cm; specific volume of the steam-air mixture flow rate of 0.5 l/mins2; relative humidity 50%.

The resulting sorbent-catalyst had a dynamic activity 43 minutes

Example 2.

Solution prepared as in example 1, except that in 120 l of water dissolve 115 kg CuSO45H2O and heated to 80oC. Take an active coal with a total porosity of 1.0 cm3/g and a grain size of 0.5 - 1.5 mm, then the impregnation and heat treatment carried out as in example 1. The resulting sorbent-catalyst had a dynamic activity 49 minutes

Example 3.

Take activated charcoal with a total pore volume of 0.95 cm3/g, a grain size of 0.3 - 1.0 mm Further as in example 2, except that the heat treatment is performed at 200oC.

The resulting sorbent-catalyst had a dynamic activity 48 minutes

Empirically chosen and the optimal modes of sorbent-catalyst, the choice of the main parameters of the following reason. When the ratio of shit making of salt of copper is less than the specified ratio in solution remains a residue of ash, which worsens in the future, the quality of the sorbent, and in excess of this reagent is extremely difficult to produce washing sediment from sulfate ion. When the concentration of ammonium carbonate less than 5% of dissolving the precipitate is bad, and when the value more than 20% in solution there is a lot of ammonia, which is difficult to remove by heat treatment, and if the heat treatment temperature less than 130oC is not completely removed moisture and at temperatures above 200oC starts the decomposition of the active complexes, which dramatically reduces the activity of the catalyst.

As follows from the above, the proposed method allows to obtain a sorbent-catalyst with high dynamic activity plagiosauroidea substances, with each of the signs stated together to a greater or lesser extent affect the achievement of the task, and the whole set of features is sufficient to characterize the claimed technical solution.
