(57) Abstract:

Describes a new composition for anti-corrosion coatings containing bitumen, a plasticizer, rubber crumb and an organic solvent, characterized in that it further comprises a synthetic rubber and corrosion inhibitor Agidol-80 - waste production of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL (Agidol-1), containing in its composition, wt.%: 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL not more than 15, dimers 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL and substituted bisphenols not less than 40, the resin is not more than 30 in the following ratio, wt.%: bitumen 25,0 - 40,0, the above Agidol-80 5,0 - 10,0, synthetic rubber 1,5 - 4,5, plasticizer 2,5 - 6,0, crumb rubber 6,0 - 10,0, solvent - rest. The technical result is an increase corrosion resistance, reduced cost due to the replacement of expensive raw materials (phenol-formaldehyde resin, aluminum powder, rust) on waste production. 3 table.

The invention relates to the field of production of anticorrosive coatings for metal products.

Known composition for anti-corrosion coatings of metal structures, including bitumen, chloroprene rubber, softener, vulcanizer, stabila has limited scope and has a low cohesive and adhesive strength.

Also known anticorrosive composition for coating comprising bitumen, synthetic rubber, rubber crumb, intercommunale resin, hydrocarbon oil, propylene glycol and the solvent [A. S. USSR N 765324, class C 08 L 95/00, C 09 D 3/24, 1978/]. This composition has the same drawbacks as mentioned above, in addition, the presence of a large number of synthetic rubber makes it heterostichum.

The closest in technical essence to the proposed composition for anti-corrosion coating is a composition containing the following components, wt%:

Bitumen petroleum construction grade bn-70/30 - 14,3

Component bitumen-cacerolas mastic Kukersol" - 57,2

Chloroparaffin CP-470 or CP-600 grades of a, B (plasticizer) - 9,5

Crumb rubber from waste rubber production - 9,5

Oil solvent for paint industry (solvent) - 9,5

[THE 6-15-1353-87, Autoantigen-2 bitumen for bottoms].

This composition has good mechanical properties and good adhesion to the substrate.

However, this composition has insufficient elasticity and corrosion resistance, as well as the necessity of applying it to a well-prepared over the expansion of the application area.

This goal is achieved by the fact that the anti-corrosion composition comprising a plasticizer, bitumen, rubber crumb and the organic solvent further comprises a synthetic rubber and corrosion inhibitor Agidol-80 - waste production of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL (Agidol-1), containing in its composition, wt. %: 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL - not more than 15, dimers 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-METHYLPHENOL and substituted bisphenols not less than 40, the resin is not more than 30 in the following ratio, wt.%:

Bitumen - 25,0 - 40,0

The above Agidol-80 - 5,0 - 10,0

Synthetic rubber of 1.5 - 4.5

Plasticizer - 2,5 - 6,0

Crumb rubber - 6,0 - 10,0

Solvent - Rest

Enter into the composition Agidol-80 (TU 38.302-16-359-92) is a waste product of Agidol-1 (4-methyl-2,6-di-tert-butylphenol), produced at JSC "Sterlitamak petrochemical plant" TR - 2.03.039 - 92 and is a solid dark brown color with a freezing point not below 45oC, containing, wt.%: Agidol-1 is not more than 15%, substituted bisphenols (4,4-methylene-bis(2,6-di-tertbutylphenol), dimers Agidol-1,2,6-di-tert-butylphenol) not less than 40%, the resin is not more than 30%.

The use of Agidol-80 in the formulation of anticarro the AK clean, and rusty surfaces, which makes possible the application of the composition on the raw rusty surface and increases cholestanol composition, as well as reduce the cost (Agidol-80 almost't find qualified and are transported to incineration).

Introduction to the composition of synthetic rubber will help to improve the elasticity of the coatings and to stop premature cracking.

As the synthetic rubber can be used:

or mixtures thereof.

Technology is jacketed for heating the loaded solvent, bitumen, rubber crumb, plasticizer Agidol-80 and synthetic rubber. The resulting mixture is stirred at a temperature of 120-140oC to obtain a homogeneous mass.

Table 1 presents examples of the compound (1-5), samples with concentrations within the stated limits (6, 7) and the prototype.

For testing prepared anticorrosion composition of the proposed and known composition is applied by brush in two layers on a metal plate the size of HH,8 mm, the surface of which is prepared according to GOST 8832-76.

Plates with rusty surface is subjected only to mechanical cleaning: stratiform and loose rust scraped with a metal brush.

The drying is performed at room temperature. After drying the last layer samples aged for 14 days at a temperature of 20 5oC. the thickness of the coating is 100-200 microns.

To determine the corrosion resistance of the thus prepared samples are exploring their cholestanol. Plate loaded with 2/3 of the height of a 3% solution of sodium chloride at a temperature of 20 5oC. Samples without rust is kept in a test solution for 50, 70, 80 days. Samples with a rusty surface is a thief, washed with water, remove the coating solvent and inspect the condition of the substrate.

The protective properties of the coating assess the condition of the substrate (after removing the cover).

The strength of the film at impact coatings are determined according to GOST 4765-73.

Adhesion of the coatings is determined by the method of "triangle" as follows: floor cut with a scalpel or sharp knife in two directions intersecting at an angle of 45o. Plot coverage at the point of intersection is lifted and separated from the plate. The adhesion of the coating is assessed according to the degree of exfoliation and the condition of the coating (THE 6-15-1353-87).

Determination of thermal stability of the coating carried out on plates coated with the composition of 2/3 of the surface. Plates put in a rack, uncovered side down, is placed in an oven and maintained at a temperature of 140, 150, 160, 170oC for 20-30 minutes

The frost resistance of the coatings is determined according to GOST 2678-81 when bending the rod diameter 10 mm

Bending coatings (elasticity) is determined according to GOST 6806-73.

The resistance is determined in the camera G-4 at 505oC for 3 months.

The results are given in table 2, 3.

the bones coatings show that on the specified parameters of the proposed composition is not inferior to the prototype, but korrozionnostojkoj and bending exceeds the prototype. In addition, the compositions can be applied to rusty surfaces treated only mechanically.

As can be seen from the data, further corrosion under the coating does not develop.

Thus, the claimed composition will improve the corrosion resistance of the coating to the action of 3% NaCl solution in 1,3 times, improve the elasticity of the coating and, as a result of qualified waste and exclusions of rust Converter, to reduce the cost of anticorrosive coatings.
