The invention relates to medical equipment, namely, devices for the surgical treatment of the spine, and can be used when correcting a spinal deformity of different origin and functional failure its rear structures for compression, distraction with one or two sides. The device includes a rod, the ends of which are cylindrical in cross-section, and the middle part is a hexagonal cross section and a hole in one of the faces for rotation of the rod around its axis by means of special keys. On one end of the rod is cut right and the other left-hand thread. Along the rod is moved two bushes, representing a nut with two hooks facing in the same direction, but located in mutually perpendicular planes. The technical result consists in the correction of deformity of spine, allowing to stabilize vertebrae in two mutually perpendicular planes, which prevents anteroposterior and lateral displacement of the vertebrae, and to realize dosed compression or distraction of the individual segments of the spine. 3 Il.

The disadvantage of the prototype is that the fixation of the vertebrae is in the same plane that do not provide sufficient is there is no way to make dosed compression or distraction of the individual segments of the spine.

The invention is directed to create a compression-distraction apparatus for the deformation of the spine, allowing to stabilize vertebrae in two mutually perpendicular planes, which prevents anterior-posterior and lateral displacement of the vertebrae, and to realize dosed compression or distraction of the individual segments of the spine.

The invention consists in the following. The device includes a rod and moving along the sleeve with hooks. On the cylindrical ends of the rod are made multidirectional thread. The middle part of the rod has a hexagonal cross-section and a through hole in one of the faces. Each sleeve is made in the form of a nut with two hooks facing in the same direction and located in mutually perpendicular planes.

Compression-distraction apparatus is used as follows.
