(57) Abstract:

The composition relates to the finishing of natural leather and can be used in top dyeing leather. The composition contains: pigment concentrate, 10% casein, 20% wax emulsion, 40% aqueous dispersion of polyurethane, 40% aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile and methacrylic acid in a ratio of 66 : 32 : 2 obtained by the method of emulsion polymerization using as an initiator of gamma radiation dose 4-6 GSR, when the output power of 0.1 Gr/18% solution of polymethylsiloxane in an organic solvent and water. The composition can improve the hydrophobic properties of the skin and the heat resistance of the coating. table 2.

The invention relates to the leather industry and can be used in coating dyeing leather.

Known composition for finishing natural leather, containing, wt.% the pigment concentrate is 9.8, casein /10%/ - 3,4, wax emulsion /20%/ - 1,5, acrylic emulsion BMP-3 /20%/ - 17,6, the variance MH-30 /20%/ - 33,5 and water - the rest. (Handbook of Tanner (Ed. Babirovoy N. A., M Legprombytizdat, 1987, S. 51)

The disadvantage of this structure is the low adhesion is obtained on the basis of the coating to wet the skin.

Synthesis of a dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid in the ratio of 70:25:5 is carried out by emulsion polymerization in the presence of the initiator.

The use of this formula allows to obtain a coating with high adhesion to dry and wet skin, resistance to repeated bending and wet friction, but does not allow to increase the hydrophobic properties of the finished leather and to obtain a coating with high heat resistance.

The technical result of the invention is to increase the hydrophobic properties of skin and heat resistance of the coating.

This result is achieved by the fact that the composition for finishing natural leather that includes a pigment concentrate, casein, wax emulsion, the aqueous polyurethane dispersion, the aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid obtained by the method of emulsion polymerization in prey acid in the ratio of 66:32:2, obtained by using as an initiator of gamma radiation dose 4-6 GSR when radiation power of 0.1 G/s, and it contains the solution polymethylsiloxane in an organic solvent in the following ratio of components, wt.%:

Pigment concentrate - 10,0 - 12,0

Casein /10%/ - 1,0 - 3,0

Wax emulsion /20%/ - 6,0 - 8,0

Aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane /40%/ - 10,0 - 14,0

Aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid in the ratio 66:32:2 /40%/ - 25,0-28,0

The solution polymethylsiloxane in an organic solvent /18%/ - 3,0 - 6,0

When radiation to initiate polymerization of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid leads to the formation of strongly cross-linked three-dimensional polymer structures with a large number of reactive groups capable of firmly contact with the active groups of the polyurethane, polymethylsiloxane and functional groups of the collagen of the dermis. This allows you to charge a hydrophobic polymer coating with high heat resistance.

The ratio of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid 66:32:2 due to the fact that when this ratio managerenabled number of reactive groups.

When using as an initiator of gamma radiation dose of less than 4 kGy at a power of less than 0.1 G/does not occur with the formation of three-dimensional structures of the polymer.

Initiating dose of more than 6 kGy when the radiation power of more than 0.1 G/s is impractical because of the further structuring of the polymer with the increase in the number of reactive groups does not occur.

Introduction to composition for finishing aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid in the ratio of 66:32:2 less to 25.0 wt. % solution polymethylsiloxane in an organic solvent of less than 3.0 mass. % does not allow to obtain a hydrophobic polymer coating with high heat resistance. The introduction of their respective more of 28.0 wt.% and more than 6.0 wt. % impractical, because further increase the hydrophobic properties of skin and heat resistance of the coating does not occur.

Synthesis of a dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid in the ratio of 66:32:2 carried out by the method of emulsion polymerization. In the reactor-polymerizaton download an aqueous solution of the emulsifier /alkylsulfonate sodium/ and the reaction mixture of the monomers in the ratio indicated. The copolymerization process is carried out at a rate radiation power of 0.1 G/s

Composition for finishing leather prepared as follows: the pigment concentrate is mixed with 10% solution of casein and 20% wax emulsion.

In the resulting mass with careful stirring consistently add water, 40% aqueous dispersion of polyurethane R-3925, 40% aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, Acrylonitrile, and methacrylic acid in the ratio of 66:32:2 and 18% solution of polymethylsiloxane in an organic solvent.

As polymethylsiloxane use polymethylsiloxane PMS-150, PMS-200, PMS-300. The solvent is butyl acetate or organic-based solution polyfluorocarbons.
