The invention relates to medicine, in particular to propolis ointment. Task patentable invention is to provide a stable ointment used to treat a wide range of diseases. This object is achieved in that, in addition to propolis and hydrophobic hydrocarbon bases it additionally contains ethyl alcohol, glycerin and beeswax in the following ratio, wt.%:

Propolis (in terms of solids) - 1-9

Ethyl alcohol - 12-28

Hydrophobic hydrocarbon base - 36-60

Beeswax - 18

Glycerin - 9

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to ointments on the basis of propolis.

It is known that propolis is a substance which cannot adapt any microorganism that causes disease. Therefore, drugs with propolis, in particular ointment is very effective.

Known ointment for the treatment of granular RAS (1) containing propolis and fat in the form of an animal or vegetable oil. It is prepared as follows: the fatty base (oil), which constitutes 85%, bring to the boil and add the dry purified propolis is adout.

Known ophthalmologically ointment prepared from limitirovannoe solution of propolis and ointment bases - acarina - containing freeze-dried propolis 5 to 10% by dissolving the lyophilisate in Ethylenediamine and mixed with acerinum (2).

This object is achieved in that ointment is made hydrophobic hydrocarbon-based /vaseline, vaseline oil and other/ with the addition of glycerin, beeswax and propolis extract in the following ratios, wt.%:

hydrophobic hydrocarbon base - 36 - 60

beeswax - 18

glycerin - 9

The ointment is manufactured according to the conventional technology for the production of ointments. First, it is melted the most high-melting substance (wax), then adds a low-melting hydrophobic hydrocarbon base, then glycerin and propolis in the form of an extract. The sequence of adding the last ingredients does not affect the quality celebrim for propolis smell. Color - shades of yellow.

A reduction in the content of propolis relatively lower limit leads to a decrease in the efficiency of the claimed ointment.

Increase of its concentration leads to skin irritation when applied to the ointment.

The quantitative content of the wax in the ointment is associated with optimal consistency and temperature dropping.

The content of glycerin is optimal if it is about 10% of the drug.

Distinctive features of the claimed invention is the presence in the ointment beeswax and glycerin.

Beeswax added to the claimed ointment, on the one hand, increases its density and viscosity, improves absorption by the skin. On the other hand, the presence of wax carotene and vitamin a makes useful its use in the treatment of some skin diseases, retards the growth of some pathogens with antibiotic action.

Glycerin, which is part of the claimed ointment softens the skin and reduces irritation of propolis.

Evaluation of the comparative effects of the claimed ointment and prototype on immunoactive properties of experimental models.
